Hi There,I was wondering if anybody knows of a way to completely or partially suppress the logging in a workspace? (even if it is a hacky method)I am aware of the settings in the options menu but unfortunatly they just don’t do the job necessary.Cheers,Itay

I have network based resource folder, that folder si on fme flow When file arrive in that folder, i need to write that file on other location, i just need help i don t know what parameter or what pointer should i send to my reader that it knows which file should write  

Hi,First off, excuse my ignorance in this question - im a beginner. Please let me know if any additional details would be helpful.I am using the HTTPCaller transformer to run a print POST from an AGOL app (Experience Builder).I’m able to successfully run the HTTPCaller and pull the response_body containing the output pdf URL. Id like to now run another transformer to download that pdf locally. I’m trying to publish a new app on FME Flow, but there are no services listed to create the app.  If I try open an existing app, it says “You do not have access to the "fmedatastreaming" service.” I’m logged as a admin with all possible rights.  If I go to services settings, all seems normal.  So Im not able to create any app and practically run any workspace. What could have gone wrong?EDIT:After updating to FME 2024.2.3 the problem stays exactly the same.

I built a workbench that creates 2 excel files with unique names that are created use the Fanout Dataset in the excel writers using a filename attribute that creates the unique file name. However, when I run workbench in FME Flow to set up the automation, it says it created it successfully, and the log seems to show that the files were created with the unique names, however, there are no files to open at all in the destination folder that I set up for it on FME Flow. Please help. Thank you! Pic of the fanout in the workbench. I have tried to add the log file to this post but it will not let me as the file type is “log” and for some reason the FME Forum system does not allow for those files to be uploaded.  

Hi,I need to find the average distance of 25 nearest neighbours in a point layer. I have tried with Neighborfinder set to 25 number of neighbours to find and generate a list, then a ListExploder to expose the list, but I don't know how to group the 25 neighbours to calculate the average distance of these 25 neighbours to the base point Im gettin this of ListExploder: idRecord it’s the ID of points.Any ideas for grouping the 25 neighbours to calculate the average distance?Thanks you all.

Hi guys!I'm trying to export a list of the completed jobs using the FME Rest API, but I can't seem to get it done. What I want is basically a list of all the completed jobs, including the start time, end time, job id, engine, workspace name etc. For this, I'm using FME Form, a creator connected to a http-caller. Used the following Request URL: /fmerest/v3/jobs/completed?status=SUCCESS/fmerest/v3/jobs/completedAnd a few others.I got two headers, one with the token and one with the content type.The errors are being returned:{"message":"null for uri….}Does anyone know a solution for this?

Hello, I am exporting addresses from an Enterprise GDB into an Excel spreadsheet. I have created the Excel Writer, and it successfully writes the data to the spreadsheet. But when I open the spreadsheet, the column widths are crazy wide, and the names are not bold or centered. Is there a way to control the column widths and column names (make them bold and centered)? The screenshot below shows the Excel Writer (“Template”) and the parameters I have set.  

Using FME 2025 and ArcPro 3.1.7 and the python environment located in C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\bin\Python\envs\arcgispro-py3, (3.9.16) the python code below works.Using FM 2025, and ArcPro 3.3.5 and the python environment C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\bin\Python\envs\arcgispro-py3 (3.11.8), it fails to load the necessary DLLs when importing fmeobjects and crashes.Switching back to ArcPro 3.1.7 it works again. Can anyone help me import fmeobjects using ArcPro 3.3.5? Hi! I could use a hand. I'm running an FME workspace that downloads data from ArcGIS Online using 4 HTTPCallers and a Web Connection. The workflow works fine in FME Form 2024, but when I publish and run it in FME Flow 2024.1, it fails.Setup:Using a Web Connection to authenticate (ArcGIS Online). The Web Connection exists in FME Server and is assigned to my user. The Web Connection is correctly assigned in FME Server.Does anyone have experience with this issue? Could it be related to permissions, token handling, or FME Server settings?Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Apparently this feature was finally introduced 5 months ago, yay. I’ve been waiting for this for 5 years.I’ve just tested it today, with a PKCS#12 certificate, and unfortunately it doesn’t work.We’ve sofar been using our own C# service provider for this, and the certificate is used here on a daily basis with success. And I’ve verified the private key password.Has anyone tried this feature (with PKCS#12) yet with success ?Using 2024.2.3 (build 24825).Cheers.

Problem Statement:I need to verify if all the workbenches in an automation for a particular run/trigger are successful. There can be multiple runs/triggers in a day, and the number of triggers per day is unknown. Things I Have Tried:When I attempt to retrieve relevant data from the FME Flow PostgreSQL database, I can't find a unique identifier for each run/trigger of an automation.I can see an event_id in web interface, but unable to find that in the postgres database.  

Hello everyone,I was wondering if there is a simple way to filter one Dataset by comparing key-values with another Dataset. Basically a Join but onlky keeping Left Attributes.Example:Dataset1 Project SubID moreAttributes from Dataset1 ABC 1 ... ABC 2 ... DE 1 ... DE 2 ...  Dataset 2: Project SubID different Attributes from Dataset2 ABC 1 ... ABC 1 ... ABC 3 ... ABC 3 ... DE 2 ... FG 3 ...  I want to Filter Dataset 2 to only keep the ABC|1 and DE|2 rows because they match dataset 1. I am sure I could accomplish this via join and subsequently throw out all the Attributes that were introduced from dataset 1, but I was wondering if there is an easier way. Thanks all

I have a spreadsheet with Address, Street Name, City, and Zip Code fields with 500 addresses. I need to create mailing labels for each address in this format: Occupant1234 Main StCity A, 54433 The output would be a Word/Text doc with the list of labels. What Transformer(s) would be used to create these?

I have a flat table from a survey that is conducted by clients. I want to aggregate this data at the end of the month and send it to various staff that has had a survey submitted by our clients for their work. I’ve aggregated this data accordingly which produces a list. The aggregated results may differ based on how many surveys get submitted for each staff member that helps our clients. I have also generated a basic email template using the “HTMLReportGenerator” transformer. However, I’m having a hard time iterating through the list populate the HTMLReportGenerator. I’m looking to email each staff member their survey results from the month.Any help or guidance on this matter would be much appreciated. Thanks

I am trying to set up a Web Connection to an OpenID server using the HTTPCaller. Hi All,I have been trying to put a workflow together to linear referencing a few event tables in GIS. I usually do the task in ArcGIS but this time I want to automate the process as much I can.I have been checking a few of the LRS FME tutorials online but can’t get it to work. The aim is to linear referencing speeds along a railway route (line) using an event table that relates the lines and speeds.The input of my workflow as follows:Event table (xls) that shows the Line and speeds, example below: Line geometry with the line ID as well the ‘From_Chain’ and ‘To_Chain’ fields as parts of the attribute I have got to this point in the automation but can’t get the Snipper to work for some reason since doesn’t split the lines according to the speed lengths:  Any advise how to accomplish the task?Thanks

I’m trying to upload a raster to Mapbox, but no matter what I do, the output file always turns the nodata cells to black. I have tried fixing this using RasterBandNodataSetter and RasterPaletteResolver. If I look at the feature cached output from those transformers the nodata cells are still transparent. The issue arises when I use the MBTILES writer. No matter what, it writes nodata as black. I also tried removing the nodata (RasterBandNodataRemover), doesn’t work. I have tried outputting the data both as png, png8, and jpeg. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Thank you in advance!

I am trying to upload a project to FME Flow using REST API V3. The curl command is blank in the documentation. I have tried to configure a command based on the documentation and other (working) commands, but I have not had much success. Does anyone have an example of a working command to upload a .fsproject file?

Hi,A colleague and I are working on a script for a client. In the script, we have a simple custom transformer that performs a loop to match some attributes in the correct order. Its basically just a feature merger with a loop: If I run the entire workspace the loops get stuck and keep iterating forever. However if we run the workspace with for example "run to this" far down the stream, it has no problem and the custom transformer finishes after a few seconds.Does anyone have a clue why this is happening and what we could do to prevent it?Best regards

Hello FME Experts,I am working on processing a point cloud and need to create height-based sections to later filter the point cloud accordingly. Here is my goal:Extract the minimum and maximum height of the point cloud (already done). Create sections every 1m, starting from the minimum height up to the maximum height. For each section, create a buffer of ±0.5m (so each section spans 1m). Finally, filter the point cloud to extract the slices based on these buffers.My idea is to extract the Bounding box of the pointcloud, extrude it 0.5m lower, and then slice it starting from bottom every 1m until reaching zmax, and use them with Clipper.How can i slice this bounding box?I thought about creating a new attribut Number of slices = zmax - zmin and then use it as increment? or is there a simpler solution? Thank you for your help 

I am trying to write out to a DWG from multiple inputs and need the output file name to be a combination of variables i.e.  Extract_@Value(lot_number)_@Value(survey_type)@Value(survey_number)_@Trim($(_extractCoordinateSystem),EPSG:)_@DateTimeFormat(@DateTimeNow(), %Y%m%d).dwg The variable creates fine using a variable setter   But when I try to run the writer it fails. It appears it is trying to write the file multiple time and fails to overwrite    Any ideas on how I could set the variable file name better?
