How to merge several features classes into one

Hi!I have a collection of feature classes and I want to put them together in a single feature class. I was wondering if anyone is familiar with this scenario, or if anyone knows the transformer they would have to use to carry out this process?Or it is necessary to use a transformer or simplement I can connect the features classes in "reader" and the feature classe created in "writer"Thanks a lot

Path windows not working from WorkspaceRunner

I'm sure this is an easy fix, but I have a workspace that is being run by WorkspaceRunner. A different shapefile is reading in from the runner each time using the Path Reader. When I run the WorkspaceRunner the child workspace is not running. I have used this setup before and it's worked perfectly. I can't figure out why it's not on this occasion. I've attached both workspaces. Thanks for any help. B

Obj to gltf conversion issues in latest fme

HiIm unable to convert Obj to gltf in the latest update.I have downloaded some sample obj files from this site.Im always getting this warning Geometries which cannot be converted to a triangulated mesh will not be written.How to avoid this and achieve the conversion.In the previous versions of fme im able to convert these obj files but now its not working. What is the reason.Some sample file https://free3d.com/3d-model/alien-ship-from-battleship-37326.html which i used.Most of the obj im converting getting this error.Previous version this issue was not there.FME version : FME(R) 2019.1.0.0 (20190710 - Build 19608 - WIN64 ).OS : windows 10.

For some reason my "Translation log" view is floating instead of fixed. Don't know how to "fix" it again (FME2018).

Hi FME'ers,It's that time of year for a hackathon! Yay! But first be aware...NoteWe are scaling back a little this time. I gave the marketing team permission to use the "12 Days of FME" title for something else, we'll have a bit less fanfare (no blog posts), and prizes will be restricted to what I can steal from the swag cupboard the next time I'm in Safe's head office (which might be nothing if I'm spotted).So no fame or fortune, and not much glory: but hopefully a lot of fun and satisfaction in doing cool things with FME.Theme and RulesRather than restrict us to a theme, I thought we'd go with an open competition. So, as in the past, you can submit any sort of project you like.It can be a workspace, a custom transformer, a web service, or anything as long as FME is used in part of it.It can be Christmas-related, or related to any other holiday you can think of; or neither.You can treat it as a "hackathon for good" where you try to solve

Error while installing FME 2019 server.

We are trying to install FME 2019 server. After the installation was completed, we tried to trigger one job from the samples repository. However it is giving the following error:There was an error submitting the job. AreaAmalgamator FME 2019 possible bug?

Hi, The AreaAmalgamator does not seem to work in FME2019, when I use the same data and workspace in FME2017 it works fine. Even when there is no data passing the AreaAmalgamator it makes the workspace crash, when I use a dummy polygon input to the AreaAmalgamator in the same workspace it works. I have this problem on Workbench and Server 2019. Thanks for any help:) Best/ Johan

Question of the Week: Variables, Adjacent Features, and Header Features

Hi FME'ers,This question was asked about Excel data, but it often applies to any text-based format where a set of records is subdivided by a separate header record. In this scenario, the header record gets read as a standard feature by FME. It needs not just to be filtered out, but its contents added to adjacent records.Question of the WeekQ) I am trying to use FME to get some excel data formatted. The problem is there are headers which I need to populate as a column. Hi All,i am working with json feature extraction not really good with working on this format.I am kind of stuck at point wherein json file information is in the form of array . i am trying to extract information from featurepropertiesEntries which has information about uuid of the feature and other attribute information associated to feature in sub- array form (featureid this the main uuid ,attributevalueid id of the that attrbute ,propertyname like height info,frc ). from this array i want to extract information for specific attributes only like frc,positional accuracy etc i have tires few things with json fragmenter and extractor but not getting desired outputs. can someone suggest good option to do thisthank you in advance.

What is the shortcut to run a workspace?F3F5F5.6F11F#OK, let's say really easy. The only difficultly might be that you've used F5 so much you've worn the symbol off your keyboard. It also has a bunch of variations:F6 also runs a workspace in various combinations, but F5 is the main one; especially since (in 2019 or newer) it now only runs uncached portions. Shift+F5 reruns the entire workspace.Incidentally, F3 is a shortcut key to the workspace search dialog (who knew?) and F11 is the shortcut to expand the canvas to the whole screen. Try F11. Working with offsetter

HiI'm trying to tranform a shape file to 3d tiles and adding a offsetter in between to adjust the zmin of the shapefile data.It was working fine and i saved the workspace .But when I'm using the same workspace to convert other shape file data,I'm getting the output but the attributes of the data are from the old data only.I'm not getting the attributes of the new file ,the old file attributes are only present which are coming as null. The old attributes are not replaced by the attributes of the new file.How to achieve the transformation of different files with their respective attributes with the same workspace with the offsetter.I have attached a screenshot of data and the workspace.

Hi Guys...a simple one for you i think i have a Folder A with multiple .gdb files and a Folder B with multiple .gdb filesNo I want update every gdb which is in Folder A and in Folder BAND: write gdbs which are only in Folder A into the Folder B have i use a loop?
