HelloSince I have been using FME Server 2022 my workbenchs updated from FME Desktop 2020 with Emailers no longer work. Indeed the workflow is in failure and what seems strange to me is that the workflow is looping (4 times) before being in failure. As soon as I delete the emailer transformer I have no more problems. How do I stop it changing the entries in those fields so I can create points in the correct location please?

HiI have some wired issueI use the PDFPageFormatter to insert to a template PDF all sort of data, some of it in Hebrew and are numbers.I notice that when I insert a Hebrew Characters, It didn't appear on the PDF.Can someone please help me?Thanks!

I'm not able to use the the transformer AutodeskBIM360DocsConnector anymore.It keep showing a 400-Invalid redirect_uir error message.How could I solve this issue? 

I used Excel to convert from date and time to seconds using the formula datetime * 86400. For example, 24/04/2023 8:00 AM is converted to 3891484800. What would be the correct format to perform this calculation in my workspace? Thanks for the assistance.

I would like to buffer certain sides of a polygon. My polygon as in the image below and I would like to buffer them in the direction of arrows. How can I do it with FME?  

I tried to convert an RVT to CESIUM 3D Tiles in FME 2022. Coordonate set to WGS 84 .Allthough i set coordonate in the start and at the end . When i upload in cesium the coordonate still set to (0,0).IS ANYONE CAN HELP ME?

FME Desktop 2021Data Source is in LL-27 I get a lines dataset in LL-27 and points dataset in LL-27. My objective is to shows these lines and points on a Map that is in Web Mercator, EPSG:3857.  I currently use the CsmapReprojector and I have the following configuration: Source Coordinate System: LL-27Destination Coordinate System: EPSG: 3857Transformation: NAD27_to_WGS84 (Multistep) When I write the output for the lines and points to a Shapefile and place them in a Map in Web Mercator, the lines and points align and connect as expected, however, the problem is that their map positioning is slightly off from the actual Lat Long values that they should fall on.  Is there another 'Transformation' I should be using to get them properly positioned on the map (map in Web Mercator)?   Thanks for your time. Hi,​I am very new to FME and I've run into some troubles I can't figure out how to solve. I've got a dwg file that I'm trying to write to a file gdb. The geometries vary, but the features containing text are the ones I'm having an issue with. When I try to write these I get the error: "GEODATABASE_FILE writer: An unknown exception occurred" and "Error running translation" which leaves me a bit clueless. Some features works fine, most don't I can't seem to figure out why. The writer's geometry parameter is set to geodb_annotation. Does anyone recognise this problem and know how to solve it?

I am running a workspace converting DGNs to gdb with no errors but it gets to this message: "FME API version of module 'GEODATABASE_FILE' matches current internal version (3.8 20190621)" and does not proceed anymore any ideas?

Hi all, Im trying to automate a process done in mapinfo and requires a table update.  The update in question-Hope this make sense with the censoring however this shouldn't effect the process.  Ive tried a few different ways but i never get the outcome Im looking for. Thanks.

Hello , i have to write my output from ArcGis sde to excel file .but I have empty fields at many columns. i would like to have only fields that have only values .so how could I remove empty fields ,?i have read many topics about that but it does not work with me .could someone provide me with template workspace to remove the empty fields .Thanks in advance FME 2021

Hello i am reading many tables from oracle non spatial tables name Table_ATable_B Table_Ci have around 30 table and I would like to get the Output from all tables when Id= 45 i am not sure ,how to write the condition in where clause to test it in all tables and In case it did not find the id in any table so I will not get any output from this table .But in case also ,no id as attribute name in any table so I get nothing better than error ,if it is possible .Fme 2021 

Hi.I'm having trouble with a workspace, that outputs a number of GeoTIFF files to a folder.I'm using a FeatureWriter to output the GeoTIFF's. The FW has no option whether to overwrite existing files.When I save the workspace as a mapping file, and run fme.exe with this mapping file, no files gets overwritten, i.e. older versions remain in the output folder.If I run it manually (i.e. the workspace in Workbench), it seems like files are getting overwritten.Is this the WAD behaviour, or is there a difference between running *.fme and *.fmw files ?How come there isn't a setting in FeatureWriter to control this ? Or is there, somewhere hidden ?Cheers.



Dear altruist, I have a datasets of soil moisture values in array system. So, for each grid cell, I have values for each day for certain years (image 1 shows the structure of array). However, for some cells we have consistently a constant value ( e.g. 1). For these cells I have to recalculate the soil moisture based on the average of neighboring cells as per the formula in the second image. I have tried with Attribute manager and conditional statement in setting values, which is not sufficient to do this job. Can anyone kindly suggest and explain how conveniently it can be done in FME? 

Hi all, Not sure if this is even the place for this question, but this arose recently in my workplace and it would be good to get some thoughts. I work in a consultancy, and use FME daily for spatial and non-spatial data analytics. Sometimes I create workbenches that are re-usable for different clients to achieve the same goal. My question is, when I am working for a client and develop a workbench on a project they are paying for, who owns that workbench? Is it me (the author), my company (who owns the FME licence), or the client (who is paying for the project)? It's worth stating that the contract we have with the client is only asking for outputs such as reports and visuals, and does not explicitly cover the workbench itself.  Any thoughts?

I'm not sure whether this is a bug or not. I have a number parameter configured like this - However, there seems to be some sort of floating point issue when accepting a value at input -A few weeks ago this was working fine on the same machine running the same FME server version. Not sure if anyone knows what could be causing this?Thanks

I'm creating a cruciform for biodiversity monitoring and I'm having trouble setting the distances from the centre. I need to do this for 50+ areas so it would be good to get some batch processing going.The inner nodes start at 5m from the centre. From then onwards, they are set at 10m intervals. Each arm of the cruciform is 45m long. So there are five nodes on each arm resulting in a 90m total length on the x & y axis.Node labels are as follows: 5m, 15m, 25m, 35m, 45m.The problem is, the southern, eastern and western arms are showing the distances backwards i.e. 45m label starts at the inner node and the 5m label is at the outer node.The workbench works as follows:Calculate centre point of areaCreate vertices around centre point so LineBuilder can create 4 x arms of cruciform( N,S,E,W)Create points on lines using DistanceMarkerLabel points based on Counter The northern arm always seems to come out correct so it must be something to do with line/point orientation.
