FME 2024 RasterStatisticsCalculator Incorrect Results

I am clipping a raster and then running RasterStatisticsCalculator. The results are completely wrong to what I get in ESRI using zonal statistics and the only stat that is correct is the max value.FME Results: When I export the raster and bring it into ESRI, cell values are different and zonal stats are different Zonal stats results from ESRI: I would appreciate some help in how best to run zonal stats in FME. How to Create a Rectangle Using Top-Right and Bottom-Left Coordinates in FME?

Hello FME Community,I have point data with attributes for the X and Y coordinates of the top-right and bottom-left corners (e.g., X_TopRight, Y_TopRight, X_BottomLeft, Y_BottomLeft). I would like to create a rectangle based on these two corner points.Could anyone suggest the best approach or transformers to use in FME to accomplish this?Thanks for your help!

Issues with Destination Folder Updates in FME Form

When I update one of my destination folders for my writers, all of the writers are updated to run to the same folder. I don’t know why this is happening.When I try and run the workbench, it runs like normal but then as it’s writing it comes with an error: “CSV writer: Failed to open file 'C:\D_xxxxxxxx.csv' for writing. Please ensure that you have sufficient privileges to write this file. If the file already exists, please ensure it is not open in another application” after it has written the first file to the folder.This has only been happening since I upgraded my ArcGIS Pro to a newer version that isn’t supported by my current version of FME (which I need to maintain to match the clients version).Any help would be greatly appreciated.

$(FME_MF_DIR) is resolved to AppData/Local/Temp folder.

I simply want to create a .CSV reader that should read the following dataset: $(FME_MF_DIR)DIDOK\didok.csv My workbench is on a network disk P: let’s say P:/myworkbench.fmw so I expected that $(FME_MF_DIR) will be P:/. But instead $(FME_MF_DIR) is resolved to C:\Users\MyUsername\AppData\Local\Temp. So I guess that FME temporarily copy the workbench into C:\Users\MyUsername\AppData\Local\Temp ? How to prevent this behaviour ?

LAS writer: Failed to obtain point cloud from feature. Only features with point cloud geometry are expectedLAS writer: An error has occurred. Check the logfile above for details Help. I’m receiving the two lines of error shown above ^ I am trying to modify a folder of .LAS data to create a TIN based on a certain classification (Ground). Conditional Feature Writing Based on Multiple Readers with ID Filtering

I have a workflow involving three readers (Reader 1, Reader 2, and Reader 3), and I need help setting up conditional logic based on feature counts for a given ID.Here's what I'm trying to achieve: All three readers are filtered by the same ID. Condition 1: If both Reader 1 and Reader 2 have at least one feature for the given ID, then do nothing—no features should be written to the writer. Condition 2: If Reader 1 has at least one feature, but Reader 2 has zero features for the given ID, then: Write the feature from Reader 3 that matches the given ID to the writer. I'm looking for the best way to implement this logic in FME. Thanks for any advice or examples!

ISSUE WITH Http caller

Hello,I’m using HTTPCaller to retrieve a set of data via an API that I know works, as I tested it in Postman. The problem with HTTPCaller is that the response_body is not as full as what I received in Postman (I don’t have the full result), so I cannot continue with my process.I don't know if anyone can help?Thanks!

Getting UTF8 error from SharePointOnlineConnector

I built a flow where an Excel spread sheet updates a snowflake data table. The spreadsheet in located in a SharePoint documents library. To get the flow to run on an online FME server I had to put in a SharePointOnlineConnector. When I run the flow, I keep on getting “Could not decode contents of ‘jjjjj.xlsx’ as ‘utf8’. I’m running FME workbench 2022.2 at the present time. Any ideas on how to clear this error would be greatly appreciated.

Move file from onr folder to another

Hey Folks.I’m trying to move files from one folder to another after execution but it’s not working properly.I have tried using filecopy writer by selecting move option, but copy is working properly but its not move.I have also created attributes - filecopy_source_dataset, filecopy_dest_dataset, filecopy_dest_filename. But I’m not getting what value should i give into these attributes.Kindly help. Thanks in advance

zLAS file size limits

Hi I am compressing LAS to zLAS with ArcGIS Interoperability.One of files is huge - 2700 million points and 89331057kb Software stops to write fail in folder without any comment at written file size 25Gb (Error running translation). There are no problems with disk space and memory! FME_TMEP is configure properly in 4Tb SSD store. Computer have 64Gb RAM.I am do this translation twice, but result is same and file size is same.Is it ESRI limitation on zLAS size, or something else?Best regards,Arvid

How to know the feature class and annotation class linked by a relationship class in an ESRI FGDB?

Is it possible to know that the relationship class "C04_EjesVia_LS_Rel" links the feature class "C04_EjesVia_LS" with the annotation class "A04_EjesVia_LS"? Any specific Reader configuration or attribute that I'm missunderstood?I attach FGDB sample.

Snowflake JDBC KeyPair failing

i manage to set up ODBC with KeyPair but FME's JDBC connector with KeyPair is failing. FME Flow User Info Gathering

I have multiple FME Flow/Server Apps that are used by a lot of people. We have not decided to give each individual their own account on Flow. That might be the answer, but is there a way to get the user ip address or computer name? If it is a public accessible app I know it might be tough, but I feel like it should be able to read this in the logs.

Work Extension License: Has anyone received one?

Hi everyone, I know there are many users who are saddened by the removal of the Home Use licensing. To try and bridge some gaps, I’ve applied for a work extension license but haven’t received anything back.The request form mentions 10 days but it’s been well over that.So I’m wondering whether anyone has received a license via this method and how long did it take? INVALID_GEOMETRY_COORDINATE_SYSTEM for arcgisonline_type data being rejected in FeatureJoiner

I am using FeatureJoiner to combine polygons from different source data layer. They all work fine and get combined apart from the data coming from the MapServer reader, this one gets rejected in the FeatureJoiner and gives this information:I see that data has an extra attribute: ‘arcgisonline_type: arcgisonline_polygon’, and the others from other data sources don’t have that. I am using a CsmapReprojector and converting from SPHERICAL_MERCATOR to MGA94-55 (written as “_MGA94-55_0” for all other data, and as “MGA94-55” for the data that passes through the Reprojector, the one that is being rejected, I don’t understand why they get different naming).Any suggestion if I am doing something wrong and how can I have the data not rejected please?

FME raster writer

I am using FME 2024 - 0.3.0 (WIN64). When I try to write a raster data (*.jp2 or Geotiff) the writer changes the raster resolution and the projection, even if the EPSG - code remain the same. This happens only in FME 2024 (not in the older one). Waht ist the matter?

Unable to Extract Links from Webpage using HTMLExtractor

Hi there, I am trying to extract links from this page Mornington Peninsula Planning Scheme - Maps using the methods posted on this forum as well as from the official documentation HTMLExtractor (safe.com), however there is zero total features read, meaning no output. Would this be due to the way the site is structured? I am specifally trying to extract the urls for the PDF maps on the left, and output to a SQL table and link to our GIS, as these links change every so often.Regards,Josh

How to merge muliple Personal Geodatabases(mdb) with a selected mdb as schema template?

Hi everyone, I have several Esri personal Geodatabases with similar schema but also some tiny differences.That is, they are required to have identical schema but in fact some don't due to various reasons. Some feature types and attributes are unexpected, while some required ones are missing. Now I want to choose a standard one from them as a template and merge them all to get a standard destination mdb. How can I achieve that?

ESRI Geodatabase error in Dynamic Writer - Feature Type Definition not defined.

Hi,I am just in the process of migration testing from FME Flow/Form 2023.1 to 2024.1. It seems all of our GeoDB dynamic writer fails the following error:Esri Geodatabase Writer: Feature Type Definition 'd_y_n' was requested, but not defined. Please visit https://www.safe.com/support All existing runs perfect on 2023.1 Flow and Form - not sure why it fails. Tried all possible scenarios, still fails. Failed to fetch transformation error

We have web application that triggers FME Workspace on FME Flow server. Sometimes (rare case) we receive an error in the application “Failed to access module”.Error in log files point to problem with FME saying:2024-09-11 02:53:36.7457|Warn||||Error occurred in FMERequestor Method RequestFMEJob: System.InvalidOperationException: Failed to fetch transformation: Status: Unauthorized, Url:http://XXXXX/fmerest/v3/transformations/jobs/id/546567I have no idea why it is not accessible, because in 99% cases it works fine.

Navigator not showing entirely when I open FME

Hi FME World,Anyone having this issue ? Every $%?&* time I open FME I have to replace the Navigator bar correctly through the right side. Kind of annoying.I’m using 2024.1.2 and Windows 10.
