Hi there, I have a single band raster DEM. (z-coordinates.) In my workflow i have to use this raster dataset to give overlapping polygons the 3rd Dimension. Following up, each polygon should always get the height of the smallest z-value in one of its vertices(z_min) through the 3DForcer. This is my workflow (one the whole workflow is finished:) The Input dataset are 2D and 3D Polygons. Through the DimensionExtractor I am checking if the polygon already has a third Dimension or not. If not (Failed Output of the TesterTransformer) I have to retrieve the z-coordinate from the DEM. Therefore I imported the DEM. Secondly I set my 0 values (for the area outside of my clipped area) as NoData. (-> RasterBandNoDataSetter) Then i buffered my polygons (to be on the secure side) with 1 meter. Then I clipped my raster dataset with my polygons (to increase the Performance and decrease the amount of data processed.) Hello all,Another newby question, sorry :)I have a table in PostgreSQL which is called ExaminationNumber and has a single column call ExamID.The ExamID field stores a current count of the examinations processed and is increased by one each time.I am have a reader that reads from the table and grabs the current ExamID value. I then want to update the value by one using the SQLExecutor but can't get it to work.  Can anyone let me the correct syntax or if there is a better way to go about this?  

Hi, does anyone can share an example of using Straightline diagrammer? I am new to FME and I cannot find much about what are the input to this transformer. I have an excel input file with below data:Path 1: node1, cable 1, node 2, cable 2, node 3, cable 3 .....Path 2: node1, cable 1, node 2, cable 2, node 3, cable 3 .... I want to create two SLD using the excel input data. Thanks  TNg.  

i have a polygon and i would like to divide it into several parts, but the bounding box cant exceed an area x.is there a way to solve this? thanks.

I am using an attribute creator to inject metadata into a workflow and i would like to provide pick lists to simplify data entry.

I have an ESRI Feature Class that is updated using a Collector Field Application. I want to run a nightly process that finds all the new records and assign a unique ID Value that is not ObjectID or GlobalID. My Plan was to test the Feature Class for new records and use a SQL Server Sequence(Using SQL Executor) to assign a Unique ID. I have it just about setup but am having a problem adding the Result Values from the Sequence to the Feature Class. I am using SELECT NEXT VALUE FOR TESTSequence_seq AS FC_SEQUENCE. How do i combine the Seqence values and the Feature Class?

Hi everyone, I'm creating a workbench for myself and others in my team to use to translate XMLs to a geodatabase. In this model I'm adding additional fields (than in the XML) to match our GIS SDE schema. I've imported the fields from SDE in Attribute Manager and mostly mapped their values from the XML. However for two of the fields, I want the user to enter a published parameter before running the script as these values are not contained in the XML. One of these fields has a domain set up in GIS. I would like the user to get the drop down from the SDE domain when entering the parameter. Eg in the image below I want whoever runs the script to get a list of companies from our SDE domain rather than manually typing in the company name.EGDoes anyone know if this is possible. Hello FME Gurus, I have a list which contains a known sequence of values that represent different things but are linked.I have created a list and I am then searching in the list for a specific word, in this case 'PM'The ID for the PM is located two spots in the list before the word PM.I am trying to extract the ID from the list dynamically but can't seem to get the syntax correct in Attribute Manager. @Value(_surveytable{@Evaluate(@sub((_list_index),2))}.autocad_text_string) Can anyone help is getting the index value syntax correct so I get the value that is located in the index minus 2?ThanksDean 

I have a list of features like the followingABCDEFGH But want to get it in a table likeA B C DE F G HThe values of A and E are a known format so want to be able to find A and add B C and D to the table row and do the same for E, adding F G and H and so on.I have tried the following using LIstBuilder, List Exploder, Tester and Attribute Manager but can't figure out how to get the results into the attribute manager.  

Hi I have a point and polygon feature class.I need to find out the ids of polygons which contains greater or equal to than specified numbers of points. Also I need to get the point attributes for each of these polygons.The number of points are defined in an xml file (see attached). I will need to create an alert record in a table when the number of point reaches the defined count values.Any suggestions ?  testconfig.xml

Dear FME's specialists,I'm busy to validate the geometry of 3D City model LOD2 with the geometry validator transformer (Surface and Solid issues) For the same building, I have different results if the input data is a multipatch from ESRI or a CityGML data.I have much more error with my cityGml format, and no errors with my multipatch.Somebody has similar experience or an explanation or any advice?Thanks! 

I am trying to run a Python Caller in a workbench on FME Server 2018.1 which imports botharcpy (ArcGIS Pro 2.3 is installed on the server and I'm running in compatibility mode Esri ArcGIS Pro 2.1/2.2/2.3 (Python 3.6))pymssql (3rd party SQL Server package not installed in the base argispro-py3 Conda environment)As of the later releases of ArcGIS Pro, packages can only be installed in clones of the base argispro-py3 Conda environment. I have created a cloned environment and installed pymssql there. Is there any way to direct FME Server to use that specific environment when running the workbench? It picks up the base arcgispro-py3 environment which is missing the pymssql package. I'm hoping to not override server wide Python settings if possible as there are already many Python scripts being executed on FME Server I'm deploying to and I'm hoping to avoid breaking them.

I have a point asset details and Polygon features with address details in two Feature classes. I want to find the points falling under polygon features along with the asset id of point falling under address details of polygon feature. Basically to get the details of asset along with its location. Pls suggest.

MapText Labeller is an awesome plugin for producing labels in FME. However, it seems a little out of date with expected FME functionality.  Specifically, I was wondering if there are any plans to update the plugin to include functionality such as :* Allow Ground Units to be linked to an attribute rather than a parameter. * Allow ground units to not have to be available at the start of a workbench so they can be derived from a calculation in the workbench and then used. * Allow things such as text size and font style to be linked to an attribute. * Provide a group by functionality so you can pass multiple map frames into one transformer. Currently you need to use a looper as a workaround. * General upgrade - the map text labeller version that this plug in is using is quite behind the actual version Maptext uses outside of FME now.  

I need a work around for this error. I am using XML reader to extract XLE files to CSV. Anyone have any suggestions? It's weird because some XLE files work, while others dont, all depending on how the file was originaly downloaded. PLEASE SEE COMMENT THREAD How to format CSV Output for more information on my issue.

Hello. I have to correct the road network geometry by shifting road polyline it to the point(that I created using FME to fix the road) beside it.Below, the dark line is the existing line and to the left is the existing point at a certain distance. Now, I need to shift the full line geometry as it is overlapping the point and maintaining the same distance overall. The dashed line is the required line to be the output.I tried Neighbourfinder to find the distance and stuck there. AnchoredSnapper(segment snapper) should work, but not purely working. Any ideas about how do I take it ahead.Thanks!

I have a line feature with points nearby that I have created 1. line buffer polygon 2. Points polygon from hull replacer and then hull accumulator. I now want to merge these into 1 polygon and combine the attributes of the 2. I tried using spatialRelator and the attributes come across from the 2 features but it only preserve the base geometry which is the line buffer polygon. I tried using aggregator but no luck. The screenshot shows the 2 features with the narrow strip is the hull accumulator polygon. Thanks in advance for the help.

I have a list of multilinestring values (WKT) that I want to convert to geometry and I am able to convert successfully using the "GeometryReplacer" transformer. HI everybody,is it possible to georeference a raster image without the four border coordinates (I already checked the "Georeferencer") ? I have several tiff files and within the image I`ve got four GCPs with image and world coordinates. I would like use these GCPs to georeference the images. One approach I tried was to set the 4 GCPs in the image with the RasterGCPSetter because the documententation for Ground Control Points says "GCPs can either be applied to the raster resulting in the image being georeferenced and tagged with the GCP coordinate system" Unfortunately I can't perform this last step of georeferencing on basis of these GCPs.Is there a way to perform this task? Thanks in advanceAnnika

Dear community, I just started with FME. I have an excel document with contains multiple columns. One column is called ‘Land Cover’. Depending on the values of 'Land Cover', I want to fill another column called 'classname' with new string values (‘Onkruid’ or ‘Gras’). The main idea is shown in the attached figure. I was trying to get this working with String Replacer or String Searcher. However, I did not manage. Could you help me out? Kind regards, Lambertus
