Hi everyone! I need to convert some coordinates from geographic to geocentric, X any Y are in SWEREF99 which can be easily converted, but Z is in RH2000 which is used in Sweden and other Scandinavian countries. I am trying to use CsmapReprojector and for vertical handling I used Orthometric height -> Geocentric or ellipsoid height. But then some "geoid height grid" file is needed! I downloaded grid files for FME desktop but nothing for Sweden id available! what shall be done now??
I have lines in a cad drawing that have labels that represent the line length. This label is not always the closest label to the line but is normally parallel to the line. Is there a way to find labels that share the same angle as the line?
Does the SHortestPathFinder consider all FROM-TO routes when generating routes or does it calculate a route for each input? I'd ideally want the generated routes to produce the lowest overall length, where routes that join together are preferred to routes that find their own path. For example if I've got two residential areas and I want to generate a route from these to the city centre, using the shortest path finder may generate two separate routes for these areas, but I want them to converge on a road almost like rivers draining a catchment. SO I'd prefer routes to converge if possible
I have a set of PNG images downloaded from a service like: http://tile.openstreetmap.org/{z}/{x}/{y}.png The images are named: 09_118_180.PNG 09_119_180.PNG etc.How can I combine these image in FME and project them correctly?
In the attached screen grab useful for your reference
Hello everyone! I was searching and trying out examples from other posts with similar issues, but could not really achieve satisfying result to my needs. I have roof construction lines in 3D which need to be assigned to building footprint polygons. Essentially my task is to provide a building part ID to respective roof lines. I am struggling with overlapping lines where building part polygons meet (blue lines in the first image). Seemingly, most of the topology and line connecting tools work either in 2D mode or height is uniformly assigned according to some rule which does not work on the large and diverse dataset. As a result, I could not find straightforward ways to assign section lines to a respective building part. All suggestions are welcome! I attatch a template workspace with one building so data is available for trying out. Thanks in advance!
I am attempting to filter a table for any records containing characters which fall between Ascii code 128 and 255.In a Tester, the regex [^\\x00-\\x7F] correctly identifies matches (copied & pasted from an Inspector) in the ‘Test String’ box. However, when I run the full table through it, all records fail. This seems like a bug. Or am I just missing something about Regex in a Tester?
Here, you can see that total hits for 'chevron' is 1910 and 'exxonmobil' is 96, but on the output, it only gives 20 rows. 10 rows for each Company name
I am using FME to extract API data and pull the JSON string into a SQL table. I am able to work with most of the tables but there are a couple of them that are nested and am having trouble getting to format properly.I have attached how the results need to look and sample of the JSON resultsI tried using JSON Fragmenter but i cannot get the results. Can someone advise the best way to get this.
Hi,When we draw the big river line in both edges, each side we have to draw in same height is too difficult.my question is, we draw one side in exact height ,another side we draw not in correct height.using FME how to correct the incorrect water line to correct height according to exact waterline ?
Column AColumn BB Sort AlphB Sort NumB Sort NatB Sort DesiredNYC51NYC1NYC1NYC11CHI1A11A11A1A51A5CHI511151111CHI5CHI11CHI1ANYC11NYCCHI I'm trying to figure out how to sort column B to match column A's order. For my needs column B will not necessarily match column A but it will be a subset of column A
I have a simple list n=74 codes which I read using the regular ROOT and SUB template expression: {fme:get-attribute("code")} but because of a nested comparison, they are nested as shown below. I get errors for the missing closing tags (</inv:And>) and If I pre-fill the closing tags, I get an error because they do not match the opening tags. This is perfect for a recursive loop, but a function would be needed within the xmlTemplater? or a script? or 2 loops one for the top half and another for the bottom half? Below is the end result (partial code) of the desired end result. I can manually add the last code <code>code n</code>. The rest is symmetrical. FME desktop 2018.Addition: terribly sorry I did not mention that code is a string.
I am working on FME 2019.0.1 I am trying to find out a center line(Approx. Center Line in FME 2019) of the polygon in the below geometry. The polygon is the input and polyline is the output.I tried using Generalizer with Douglas(Generalize)with varied Tolerance (after using converting it to LL-84) and McMaster (Smooth) and above is the best output. In the ideal scenario, the output should look something like below: Basically, the polylines touching the center end parts of the polygon. My approach: Create a bounding box. Put weights at the points touching the polygons. Join the polyline output at weights. Will that be a possibility? I have still not worked on it. Just an idea.Any other ideas I can work upon! Thanks.
like in sql, select company_name, filing date, count(*) c from index would give able of company_name, date of when it was entered or filed, and counts the number of files on a particular day
I have been trying to find a way to reproduce an Arc model in FME. By using Erase tool I was able to determine the well pads and compare two different datasets against each other. Essentially, my task is to find polygons that don't match and only display those. All attributes remain the same.I have been reading online for a while but couldn't find a very good solution. I would appreciate any help. Thanks
I have a network of lines (representing roads ) and I need to split the line at the intersection with another line. All the features are in the same layer. What command do I need to use?
Hi, So, I've prepared template file with block definition. This particular one has circle and text in it.In FME 2017 I'm defining text using fme_attrib_info instead of DWGStyler. The only problem that occurs is that this text that is inside of block goes to default layer (0) and default color (white). It should be blue like the definition of block says it. Kind Regards,Zelimir
In my case , [json file attached]There are Multiple geometry entries in one json file. The challenge here is, it is not in one location or one array. it scattered around nested array. I need to create features for all geometries in json file. i mean wherever geometry comes, we need to create features. is there any way to create geometries in one go.
Hi all, I have a dataset which represents the street curbside. Relative to centerline dataset, I am aiming to identfying the position of curb side (e.g. left right) I have used LeftRightSpatialCalculator to accomplish it. However, all the lines are getting Left as a relative position. In the attachment, you can find the input data as well as my transformer. Thanks in advance.
I am trying to get the sql like json queries to get the documents from 5 days ago in descending order. ( filing_Date -5days)what transformer to use and how do i pass the query?
Hi, @takashiI am getting a json file out of a http call. This json is very big and there are many nested values. I need to get some certain values from this json. For example, I need to get the "OTXMP_GPSLatitude". This GPS latitude value is existing many times in the json. I tried to extract this value using many json extraction querys but I get an empty attribute. Some of the json querys I used are : (json["data"]["regions"][*]["OTXMP_GPSLongitude"], or json[*]["OTXMP_GPSLatitude"]). I will attach the json file. I hope that someone can help me getting all the coordinates from this json by one request or json extraction. Thanks in advance,
I am trying to read data from a PDOK (Dutch open data portal) WMS service but having a hard time. If anybody wants to try, it's this one: https://geodata.nationaalgeoregister.nl/top25raster/wms?request=GetCapabilities&service=wms (but others from the same service have similar issues).I'm using FME 2019, but 2018 shows the same issue, it also doesn't matter whether I use a WMS reader or a FeatureReader. I'm not getting any useful errors, but other software (Global Mapper) has no problem reading the service.
Hi! I have a problem which I am not able to solve at the moment. I have codes (as a string) including letters and roman numerals, in a style similar to this: ABCDE IV-a I would like to change this to: ABCDE 4-a I was able to split the string into parts, so that I have a new column with just the Roman numerals. But how do I change those roman numerals to numbers in FME? Thank you!
I have 70,000 routes which I need to combine into one layer/ network. So where the lines overlap I want to simplify that to one line. The intersector does this, but its been running since friday (6 days) and still hasn't merged them yet. Can anyone suggest a way to tile this process maybe, or any other way to speed up the processing?
I want to output a feature with a list (CITY) into a correct JSON array as described below. However, that does not work. Can somebody help me with it? [ { "CITY" : ["Frankfurt","Hamburg","Berlin"] } ]
