I would like to identify 360 degree loops formed from a polyline and its attributes. ID's are the same but should only occur on 3 or less edges and not 4, forming the "loop". Below image gives a clearer overview. How will I go about identifying these issues? Thanks

I have some different 3D-models in different formats. I want to batch create a 2D image without opening them with FME Data Inspector or another tool - take a screenshot and save as image.Are there any way to do this?Ie - do you know of any open source or other tools that can take as an input an inputfile (vector / 3D) - a viewpoint and write that as a raster?

I want to filter from a dataset the polygons that contain no further polygons. I have tried the Transformer AreaOnAreaOverlayer and SpatialRelator (Attributes (s) that Must Differ = element_id) so far. 

I am having issues using the ArcGIS Portal Feature Service reader. The reader accepts the host name and my username and password and it is able to successfully load all of the feature services. After I select a feature service, I click the ellipses button next to "Layer List" and it gives me the following error:   Has anyone else experienced this error message?

Hello everybody. I added texture images to building walls in sketchup, and then I tried to transform .skp file to CityGML using FME. Transformation went successful, HOWEVER, FME doesn't save pictures the way I set them to fit the wall, it just saves the original picture as if I didn't do all the work with fitting and rotating the picture. Can anybody help me? Thank you!

I am writing Data with the Excel Writer to a Excel Template.In this template I have defined Named Ranges. These ranges only consist of 1 Cell (e.g. PrjNr =Schachtblatt!$G$5)The Problem is that FME writes to the Cell G6 (one cell below my named range)Has anybody a solution for this Problem ?Thanks Hans

I have a "master" workspace that runs other child workspaces via the FMEServerJobSubmitter. I am able to migrate the workspace between development and production FME environment because the account to access the child workspaces exists on all environment. The issue is when I try to get the results of the child workspaces via the HTTPCaller. I am hard-coding in the REST url. I can't migrate between environment unless I change the URL parameter for each environment (migrating involves creating a project, and export it out of one environment and importing into another). Just wondering if there's a way for each environment to build the URL based on something it can get while on that environment? Thanks!The web connection would have the server host name. Anyway to get that info after the FMEServerJobSubitter maybe?

I have LiDAR data with elevation data attached to it. I want to reduce the LiDAR data to the black dots (drainage pits) and deduce z values for all the pits. Is there a way to do it?

FME Server 2018.1 - Build 18520 - linux-x64 (on FME Cloud)Workspaces loaded with FME Desktop 2018.1.0.1 (20180730 - Build 18528 - WIN64)Python Compatibility Scripting : Pyton 3.4+Apologies for the way the question is elaborated but I really do not known where this error in FME server is coming from and how to describe it (I googled it and I can't seem to find any reference)It is incosistent, it appears on workspace execution and the job fails (at the end) but if the job is rerun (same workspace) everthing works fine, then it may appear and disappear again. It appears in workspaces that do not have any python transformer neither start-up shut-down scripts.Could anyone help?Thanks

I have two datasets . Both of them consist of linestring. One data set is street centerline and the second one is the left and righ side of the street. I would like to find the lines in second dataset where they intersect with lines in the first dataset.It is pretty straight forward. I can do it in QGIS with help of spatial query. However, I am not able to identfy those lines correctly. Both Spatial Relator and Spatial Filter find some of the disjoint lines as intersected. I do not know what I am doing wrongly.I would be very happy, if someone could help me. Thanks in advance.Here is the snapshot how my two datasets look like. I would like to find the intersection as marked in the pic. This is how the workbench and spatial filter parameter lok   Here one can see the lines that are detected as intersected however they are not even touching each other.  Those lines are however identfy correctly as intersected.

When I move feature classes from file geodatabase to ArcSDE using FME, all the embedded metadata in feature classes disappear once they are moved to ArcSDE. Metadata is in the description of feature classes. Please advise what do I need to do to retain metadata?

If I have a 2018.1 FME Server can I use FME Desktop 2017? What if I have FME Server 2017 and FME Desktop 2018.1?

Is there any official documentation that specifies the encryption specification used by FME desktop to store passwords (e.g. ORACLE connection string passwords)? Specifically what encryption algorithms and keys length combinations are available? Only a few combination are acceptable to the Australian Federal Government. HiI am extracting multiple hrefs. There are some irregular CSS tags that are being rejected. I have corrected the spaces by using a stringreplacer but there are a couple I cannot figure out. one being "Unsupported or invalid CSS selector: "democratic-republic-of-congo-(kinshasa)"I need to remove the parenthesis, there are also ones with the word "the" at the end of the CCS href. I only have about 12 of these, so is there a way to replace an entire href with another and I will just create 12 transformers? any ideas?

Howdy,I've just run an inspector on a reader. Trying to get a visual feel for how the data looks before I put it through an attribute manager. Turns out this is feature type has a lot of features in it, and its taking ages for the inspector to return anything. Is there a way the inspector can just return top n features? I have one reader with buildings (areas), and one with parcels (also areas, having 2 attributes: parcel_no, parcel_id). I would like to output an Excel file of every building, with the parcel or parcels where it is located, separated with a "/". For example:Building_no Parcel_no Parcel_id 1 1051/1052 P0356684/P0356685 2 1053/1054 P0264568/P0258934 3 1102 P0256425 4 1173 P0546742 Parcel_no and parcel_id have to be in the same order.What should I use (SpatialRelator or AreaOnAreaOverlayer)? What options should I select?And then, how can I aggregate the fields in one field (ListRangeExtractor, Aggregator, other...)?Additionnal question: can I list only the parcels where the building occupies more than 5 square meters (to avoid parcels that are juste a little bit on the edge)?

I am making a spatial relationship where there are several blocks for the same property, each lot of the same property has a unique value for the block column. If there is a spatial relationship of another file with one or more blocks, all blocks with the same block should appear as if there is a relationship. How to do this?

Hi, I am using S3ObjectLister and S3Downloader to connect to a bucket, download data and process it. I have two bucket setup in two different regions (ap-southeast-2) and ca-central-1. When I use settings for first region it works fine but when I change settings for region 2 i.e ca-central-1 (which is not available in transfomer's region drop down) S3ObjectLister rejects to connect and gives me follow errorsfme_rejection_code: ERROR_CLIENTfme_rejection_message: fme_rejection_message (encoded: UTF-8): Not able to determine region for ca-central-1.Please upgrade to a newer version of the SDKI am not sure how to access bucket setup for ca-central-1. I have tested bucket setting and it is responding well and tried using different regions with with bucket setup for ca-central-1 I get different error code 301.

I'm reading an XML with ticket details that has xsi:nil=true in the tag and it adds the field name with .nilAlso,there is a tag with xlmns andIm not sure if I have to use a List Exploder to further get its attributes.I'm a novice FME user and have no prior experience with xml eitherI'm looking for direction on how to resolve the field names to be the tag text and populate its values in ESRI Gdb formatAny help will be much appreciated
