I am trying to use the HTTPCaller transform to access an internal web application ( mvc5) hosted on IIS8. It always returns an error 500 , regardless of the authentication method used - I suspect ho it passes the account information is the issue as if I disable authentication I get the 401. The FME desktop is on a dedicated machine with a dedicated account and this account can access the url using IE/Edge without any issues. I was wondering if the transformer supports Kerberos authentication, and if not, can someone please suggest another method I can use to read a specific web page on our authenticated web application.Note: We use 2017.1 desktop only and our network is pure Windows with no internal proxy for routing.Any suggestions at this point would be greatly appreciated, as this is driving me crazy.

Hi,I plan to install a fault tolerant FME Server 2018.1. I would like to install 2 systems that each have 2 engines. A load balancer will manage the requests to these 2 systems (as below)I have 2 questions:1/ Is it possible to dedicate one engine to a "message streaming" workflow (WebsocketReceiver/WebsocketSender). Let say the engine1 of the host1.2/ Is it possible to send "big job" only to the engine1 of the host2? In my comprehension, I will have to duplicate queues on both hosts so it seems not possible to only use one engine... Thank you in advance! Laurent 

Hi there, The MRF2DCleaner plugin for FME Desktop contains some very interesting transformers. I am however, having a hard time finding the link for a trial or full version download. Where can I find that? I've already reached out to the sales people of MRF but they answered that I should ask safe for the prices and download.  Can anyone shed some light on the origin and availability of this plugin. Cheers Rolf

Howdy!Over the past several weeks I've been working on a child workspace to run from WorkspaceRunner, testing it out in WorkspaceRunner as the child progressed. However yesterday (?) it WorkspaceRunner seems to have stopped working. Is there a known bug related to this? Can someone tell me if I'm crazy or not?By "not working" I mean to say that one or two features (or none) might be sent to the WorkspaceRunner but they are not passed on to the child workspace, there is no output and no additional features are recieved by the WorkspaceRunner. Initially I thought that it was an issue with my child workspace, however after a whole lot of hours troubleshooting I went back and downloaded the example found here:https://knowledge.safe.com/articles/1469/batch-processing-using-the-workspacerunner-1.html I was surprised to find that working with the downloaded example it did not work either (I upgraded the transformers and it made no difference). I copy & pasted the translation logs progress

Hi, hopefully this is a simple one but it has me stuck. I am using a dynamic feature reader and would like to expose Format Attributes - in this case, fme_colour and fme_basename. I have been using the PNGRASTER writer to do dataset fanout. But now I need to change this to a FeatureWriter, and I cannot find where on the form does one set the famout check box. The file names are comming in via a $RasterFileName attribute I created format "\\z\\x\\y.png" and the top level folder which these files should go into is $outDir (the raster files were created by running the WebMapTiler, so I don't want to lose the _num_tiles parameter, which I need to send . I am using the QGIS plugin "QGIS2WEB" for publishing spatial data into webmaps, written in javascript. The plugin converts all the data showing into .js files, stored in a data registry. Now I want to replace/add spatial data manually, without using the plugin. Is there a way to convert and export spatial data, e.g. json as .js with FME? Thank you.

Hi there!  I am trying to aggregate features here on picture. Aggregation is necessary because I have to translate. scale and rotate these objects together as one object so they can fit inside certain rectangular (defined by ID). Thing is, every circle has different set off attributes and when i Aggregate them and later Deaggregate them I lose unique attributes and get only one attribute set that was set by Aggregator for all circles.

I have a workbench that runs a lot of geometry intersection tasks with many source datasets and writes the results in a database. I grouped the different tasks into Custom Transformers, and most of the source datasets go into only one Custom Transformer and are not needed anywhere else. My problem is that as soon as a group based transformer (Feature Mergers and Aggregators mainly) is reached in one of the custom transformers, more source data is loaded and the Workbench runs out of memory once the intersection tasks start. Is it possible to configure FME Workbench in a way to read only the data relevant to one custom transformer and force it to finish before loading more source data for another custom transformer?

Hi,We have finally succeeded to configure Single Sign On properly on our FME Server. I assumed that opening the URL would lead me directly to my Home-screen (https://<my-fme-hostname>/fmeserver/#/home, but this was not the case, unfortunately.When opening the FME-Server URL, I get a proper Login Screen, where I explicitly need to press the button "Use Windows Credentials". Doing so, logs me in succesfully, so my assumption is that we have configured Single Sign On / HTTPS well...Now, my question: Is it possible to bypass this login screen and automatically log a user in when SSO is working fine? I have read the post from @jvt2, it looks like he is asking the same question, but the answer of @erik_jan doesn't give me the right answer, or Did I miss something?Regards,Frank van Doorne

I have a workspace that has a published parameter of type Filename (Multiple) and I have multiple files in a folder with spaces. At the top of my fmw file is says that this should be the command-line to run the workspace "C:\\Program Files\\FME\\fme.exe" "ImporteerTrimble.fmw" --DB_Service "ODSDEV" --DB_User "GVR" --DB_Password "********" --Project_ID "22"--SchemaName "INWINNING" --Bronbestand """D:\\Path with space\\file1.dxf" "D:\\Path with space\\file2.dxf"""But when I run this command line it complains that there are uneven number of command line arguments.I just can't get this to work from the command line, running within FME Workbench does work. When I remove some quotes it accepts the arguments but then the reader fails AutoCAD Reader: Unrecognized extension for source file 'D:\\Path'.

Hello: I have an oracle query that I need to generate as a json file. The query contains all of the feature necessary for the output however, there can be multiple addresses for a given project name. For projects that have multiple addresses, I need to repeat the following attributes: street, cagisID, addressID I had this structure in a JSONTemplater but when a project contains multiple rows (with the differing address), it generates all of the elements below multiple times. I tried to configure the "SUB" feature of the transformer but I must need to only send a project query to the ROOT and all of the possible address variations for a project to the SUB. I have a file geodatabase, I am filtering various features from this and am writing it to DWG. However, I want to break down this single file geodatabase into multiple DWG tiles. I am currently using a clipper to clip to my new tile boundaries, when I go to write however I cannot name multiple tiles with different names because I also want to name the various layer names dynamically. Is there a way I can name the tile for example write multiple tiles (eg. 1234, 1233, 1235) and name the layers individually as well? I hope this makes sense, please feel free to ask questions if it doesn't. Hello all, I am trying to use a Workspace Python Startup Script and I get the message from the subject line.I am using FME 2017.1 on MacOS. I changed the Python Compatibility to: Python 3.5+ and I also changed the Translation setting Preferences to "Python Preferred Interpreter: FME Python 3.5+".I am not sure if I need to tweak something in the workspace or it has to do with something it cannot find on my Mac.  Can anyone please advise on how to fix this little mishap?  I appreciate the help! 

I set up a directory watch in FME server to watch changed shape files in a directory. Since each shape file has 7 components, updating one shape file will trigger 7 notifications, causing the subscribing workspace to run 7 times. I would hope the directory watch publication has an option to watch only ".shp" files so that each shape file change only triggers one notification. Any work around about this?
