Hi all,I was trying hard to find a solution for this little issue within the HTTPCaller.I'm trying to request geoJSON data from an API, so, using the HTTPCaller works fine until the Content-type for a desired Request (POST, PUT) needs “Content-Type: application/geo+json”  As I've tried, with no luck, with this parameters: Throwing me back a 404 error...I wanted to know if there is any workaround to enable that content-type kind? I know that if I were using cUrl, I'd only need to add this Header: -H "Content-Type: application/geo+json"Btw, I'm using FME Desktop 2018.1Thanks in advance, 

For the BRT Top10NL (dutch) we use FME desktop to transform gml's to shapes. The newest release of the Top10NL causes a problem. It is quoting "unbalanced quotation marks" But we don't get any more information. The log file is empty. The featuretypes (readers) are not getting connection or processed by. 0 reads. We have so far tried a flex $(FME_MF_DIR) solution which doesn't work and a steady pathname which also doesn't work. We tried opening gml's in qgis and this works fine.We have used FME Workbench version 2015 and 2016, but both have the seem error message.We also tried the / and \\ in the pathnames, no result.By now we are quite frustrated because we don't know where or what to look for.Anyone recognizing this issue?

Hi,I'd like to restructure a csv by separating what is essentially one column of data with a huge text string which makes up constituent attributes and the corresponding data below it into the attribute values. Something akin to the 'text to column' in Excel.Apologies if I haven't made this very clear, hopefully the csv I've provided will explain further. The top row contains the column headings I wish to split out.Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Hi, I don't understand the shortestpathfinder. I want to achieve the following:I have a layer waternetwork (VHA) and used the topologybuilder to create end and beginnodes. Then i have 2 other layers, 1 with de beginpoints (from) and another layer with endpoints. These points are exactly on the watercours. For each beginpoint, i want to know the lines in the waternetworks to come to the specified eindpoint and calculate the length.I wanted to use the shortestpathfinder but i have no outcome. First i have used de custom from/to transformer where i connected the beginpoint tot from and the endpoints in to, but again no outcome.The same with the shortestpath finder. I know i'm doing something wrong but i don't know which parameters to use of what to do.Does anyone have an example of how to set up the transformer correctly?ThxNathalie

Does dynamic reader and dynamic writer works for legacy sde in FME 2018?

I can receive emails at FME Server and trigger a specific workspace if I attach only one of each file type (DWG and PDF) in the same order (DWG before PDF) so that I can specify the published parameter for my SourceDataset_ACAD (which requires a single value) to be the email_publisher_attachment{0} and the published parameter for my SourceDataset_PATH to email_publisher_attachment{1}.However, I would like to be able to receive an email with any number of attachments, in any order, and filter and apply them correctly to their respective published parameters (potentially more than one DWG, but I would not know how many in advance and/or what order they were received to apply the correct list values). Any ideas or examples of similar implementations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I have this where there are start first, end first coordinate(x1, y1) and start second, end second (x2,y2). I simply want to create a line from these points.I tried using vertex creator and line builder but couldn't get the required thing.Thanks

Should be put the Token value within a the Header? The height of the set of points does not differ from each other by 0.03 [m], (flat surface) 2. I've written a regular expression for StringSearcher to separate features with road names (e.g. "Acacia Avenue") from features with road numbers (e.g. "A246", "B3276", "A3(M)"). Road numbers start with a single letter followed by a 1-4+ digit number and sometimes suffixed with further characters such as "(M)".However my original RegEx mistakenly treats values like "Service Road 2" and "14th Avenue" as road numbers when they should be treated as road names. I've updated the RegEx to this: ^[a-zA-Z]{1}[\\d]{1,}.{0,}$ but it's still not filtering correctly. If I put square brackets round the dot (any single character), it correctly gets "A246" but misses "A3(M)".

I'm setting up a dev server and wanted to import a certificate. I followed the steps but when i import keytool -import -alias tomcat -keystore tomcat.keystore -file <name> I get an error "signed fields invalid". Also, because the IT Contracting agency manages the certificates they applied it to the server i needed to export the PFX file to use in the keytool script. Any thoughts???

Hi, I have roads with start and end measures. I use measure setter and then measure extraction of whole line. I got measures on vertex like 179.789 and I’d like to have it like 180 (rounded numbers)Is-it possible to get measures as integer number?And another problem that I have points with measures and I’d like to calibrate my roads but calibration transformer give an error (python error – index is out of range).Any idea how can solve those problems (I’m using fme 2018) Thanks

Hi I have used Directory and File Pathnames to get the latest file name from a directory containing a list csv files.I then try to pass the fme attribute path_windows to a FeatureReader to read the csv file (see attached). However this is not working. When I click on Preview, I expect to get a preview of the csv data. Also, it doesn't output the data from FeatureReader when I run it.Any ideas

I'm using a trial-version FME Desktop on macOS 10.14.I try to convert files in .osgb type to .obj type. Actually, the files in .osgb can be successfully read by Acute3D Viewer. But when I run the Reader, FME shows that 'OSG reader: An unknown exception occurred'.(The log text is recorded in .)I haven't used FME before, so I wonder if I chose some parameters wrongly. The workspace is generated as follow.I'm looking forward to anyone who has a solution or just some ideas about this.

I am using a chopper to extract vertices from lines. I want to get the order of these vertices for each line and have that stored in an attribute that I would like to copy to a csv along with the coordinates. I was able to get the coordinates but not the vertex order. What is the work around for this?

Hello,I am working on input datasets having different schemas. In the end of my translation, I have to inspect obtained results. I had therefore to use a testfilter and 3 (AttributeManagers + Inspectors) as shown in the screenshot. The attributes managers perform some schema mapping depending on input features (this include removing and adding attributes) Is there a way to reduce the amount of used Attribute managers and Inspectors ? My workspace is getting really big and I need to optimize it.Thank you very much.

I need to do some interpolations to create nice terrain models for the architects at my office. The TINGenerator isn´t enough in this case. I tested a script in R that makes an idw interpolation. My input data is pointcloud lidar data and my output/end result in FME should be a vector surface to use in cad or sketchup. I am using the lidR library in R.Should I make a raster output from RCaller first and then create a terrain model? Do I need more librarys in R? My R script is : library(lidR) las = readLAS("C:/R/win-library/3.5/lidR/extdata/Topography.laz") dtm1 = grid_terrain(las, method = "knnidw", k = 6, p = 2 ) plot3d(dtm1) The plot in the end wouldn´t be useful in this caseHow should I apply the code in RCaller with pointcloud as input and vector terrain model as wanted output? In FME what is the diffrence between composite-surface and multi-surface? As far as I can tell when reading the description they do pretty much the same thing. How do they diffrientiate and why would I use one rather then another?
