Hello Team,We have installed FME Server 2019 and published a workbench which was running fine with the FME Server 2015. Hi there,I am new to FME, so please accept my apology if my question sounds too simple or stupid. I want to calculate two new attributes. Both attributes have different calculations. I am using Expression Evaluator. I can only calculate one attribute. For another attribute, I couldn't find any option to calculate another attribute. Am I supposed to use a new expression evaluator for another attribute? or is there any other way to calculate the new attribute? 

Hello  I 'm tring to set any value to AttibuteManager Transformer as you can see in the attachement. I have created an RandomNumberGenerator to fill a list but it doesn't work. I try also a rand function. Without success. Short, how to set random value in an AttibuteManager Transformer ? I have a range of features e.g. coastlines, country borders each with different attributes. These attributes are currently available in a table under the following structure:Each feature type has a different set of attributes and I can tie the attributes to the geometry using the gsa_shape_set_id.How do I turn this flat table in to attributes dynamically adjusting for the schema of each feature? I want to run a Workspace with each run a different Shapefiles as Source.I Use the "Directory and File Pathnames" Reader and set it to *.shp.Then i set the Source of the Shapefile in the Workspacerunner to windows_path. And here is the Problem:Now the Child Workspace runs with the Child Workspace Source Shapefile.But so many times as the "Directory and File Pathnames" Reader from the Main Workspace has.It doesnt get that he needs to Change the Source to another Shapefile in the Childworkspace.It only runs 8 times with the Child Workspace Source instead of Using the 8 different Shapes from the "Directory and File Pathnames". What am i doing wrong?

This may or may not be only answerable by the good people at Safe, but does anyone know where the SQLite database generated by InlineQuerier is created? Is is a temporary physical file, or instead uses SQLite's temporary in-memory (virtual) instance option?Just thinking ahead to some workspace performance tuning options. My workspace InlineQueriers work fairly fast but then the underlying storage is my local PC's SSD so that performance may not translate when executing where the read/write to the SQLite DB involves a different physical file storage environment.

Hello @takashi I have an AreaBuilder before the ListCombiner. If areas are built they are then checked if they touch/ intersect via SpatialRealtor. After that the ListCombiner will group on the spatial settings. The problem is that if no areas are built (incomplete), I get the error message "PythonFactory failed to close properly". Is that probably because there is no attribute from built area to compute on in "orderByGroup"?So I wounder if there is a way to not activate ListCombiner (PythonCaller) if AreaBuilder returns incomplete? Stupid question, but I'm wondering how much post-processing I need to do on the output of a ShortestPathFinder before writing it into say, an FGDB.So, a Path is not a Line feature in FME, it seems to be really an aggregate of its component segments, and each segment has a direction indicator on it so that the Path "knows" how to virtually act as a line with the correct virtual Vertex order, regardless that the component segments that are its aggregate, could alternately be running in opposite directions from each other, and one of a Path's segment's start vertex be an adjacent segment's start vertex as well (ie. The adjacent segments run in opposite direction to each other)However, if I put the output straight to say, SpatiaLite or FGDB, then the writer needs to downconvert the Path to Line. Fine, this is desirable behaviour in my case.My question is though: In what order do the vertices get written? In the direction of the Path, or does it depend on the orien

 Hello,I am trying to find a soultion of workflow in FME, as to the attached image.My first attempt was to use the "NeighborFinder" and check if a footprint touches another. Then group/ list those (light blue circle). Then perhaps do another "NeighborFinder" check within a i.e. distance of 15, and make that a merged list (dark blue circle).I appreciate any idéas. Just downloaded 2019.2, and quickly run into a big issue - the HTTPCaller query parameter does not save. For example, if I set a pagesize parameter and its value to be 1000, click OK, reopen it, the value is empty. If I open a similar workbench previously saved in 2018.1, which has pagesize = 1000, change it to be 10000, click ok, reopen it, it is still 1000. I am on windows 10.

Hello. I cannot seem to run any workbench invokving a WFS. It seems to workan extent where it reads the get capabilities to give me the feature list but when i try to run preview or run the workbench, i get the error "HTTP transfer error: 'Couldn't connect to server'" We work behind a proxy but i have configured this in the s, and it works fine for wms, arcgis featur services. Just not WFS. the WFS service itself is fine, i can connect via other software such as QGIS just not via FME http://geoportal.ancpi.ro/arcgis/services/AU/AU_WFS_STEREO/MapServer/WFSServer?request=GetCapabilities&service=WFS Working on desktop 2019.2 Many thanks

with the new 2019 Version there is a new Feature:  i had these and worked with it then the IT reinstalled FME.I still have 2019 but now these Inspectors within the Transformers are gone.Is there an Option to activate or deactivate these?

Hello, here is my problem I can´t get solve: I try the "LineOnLineOverlayer" but I don´t want to touch the red, blue and green line. I have many lines at the same location with different attributes and nodes (black point in the image). After the transformer, the red, blue and green line have new segments I don´t want. What would be the best way to convert a contour shapefile to a landxml for use in Geopak? I am not very familiar with LandXMLs or Geopak. I tried creating a TIN from my contours using TINGenerator transformer and output the Triangles to LandXML. If there is a better/more correct way to accomplish this I could use some help. I also have the DEM used generate the contours in ESRI grid format.  I also found this template for creating a LandXML but am lost as to where I need to input my contour data. 

I would like to find the coordinate for the tip of a leader line in autoCAD I tried extracting coordinate at vertex 0 but the point is not at the exact same location as it is in AutoCAD is there an autocad attribute that represents this information? I have used aggregation method and coordinate extraction on the line feature to get really close but the point is not at the exact location after processing.It looks like the location I am getting is actually the center of the arrowhead and not the location of the tip on the arrow.

This seems such a simple thing but I can not find a transformer to achieve it. I want to measure the distance between two points along X and Y. I could of course do this with a LineBuilder, LengthCalculator, a AzimutCalculator and some math. But surely there is a simpler way?

Hi, I have different DXF File with a lot of layers. I read them with the AutoCad DWG/DXF reader, filter and editing them. For the better handling I read the files as merged featuretypes, but I need at the end the data with single featuretype. That means I need all layers from the file and not the merged.How can I manage this with the Autocad DWG/DXF writer? Thanks and best regard
