Hi there, I have two attributes (i.e. date and a field called wastage). Wastage is numeric field. I want to calculate the Running total of field wastage. I am using statisticsCalculator. I have attached the configuration of the statisticcalculator. Date is organised w.r.t. date. The problem is that calculated running total is the same for all dates (i.e. sum of all values of wastage). I mean it just calculate sum, its not the cumulative sum. Could anyone guide me where am I making the mistake?

I have several FGDBs with same feature class and fields and I want to merge them into one FGDB, so I set Single Merged Feature Type at reader and Dynamic at writer. By setting Feature Read Mode as Metadata I can keep field alias, but I can't keep allow null values as NO, is there way to make it work?Figs below show that field properties before and after running workspaces.Before:After:

As I have around 10 000 vertices I don't want to do a split, create a list and vertices. Is there a shorter way?

Hi,Il have to migrate several tables from a mysql database to a postgres database.This seems quit simple but the main difficulty is that the table list to migrate is defined in a specific table and the schema (structure) of all tables to migrate is not known and has to be dynamic.I tried the following:- read the table list with a mysql reader- for each entry in the table list, read the concerned table with a featurereader- send (write) the concerned table in Postgres with a dynamic schema.But this doesn't work, I always have errors:Failed to obtain any schemas from reader 'MYSQL_DB' from 1 datasets. This may be due to invalid datasets or format accessibility issues due to licensing, dependencies, or module loading. See logfile for more information.  I tried to change many parameters but never achieve to make it work.I would really appreciate any help.Thanks,Christian.

I have a workspace that has a Workspacerunner transformer. I find that the 'append to logfile option' works for this workspace, but not for the workspace defined in the workspacerunner. The logfile of the workspace in the workspacerunner contains only the last run, where I hoped the logfile would contain accumulative messages from all previous runs.Am I right about this and is there a workaround?Thanx again for any response!Regards,Pim

Hi,I have a database with 160 featureclasses(tables) and a total of 170.000.000 tecords. It takes a very long time to read all te data (almost 2 days). Is it possible to use multiple readers and writers who will read/write at the same time. (for example: 4 readers and writers that handles 40 featureclasses each). Or do i have to make multiple workspaces? Kind regards kees

In the process of migrating a number of SDE databases to SQL Server 2017.... will my current FME Server 2018.1 play along? I've tried to find a simple technical specifications document online but wasn't successful. Thanks. (In other words: is FME2018.1 compatible with SQL 2017?)

I have a workspace that runs in Workbench, but has issues in Server. I have tried reading both:Private data (via the Esri ArcGIS Online (AGOL) Feature Service Reader), as well as Publicly available Living Atlas data (via the Esri ArcGIS Server Feature Service Reader) The error messages differ slightly but are largely the same. On FME Server I am not able to obtain a zipped output file within the data download url. In the log it does show that the file is created, but it doesn't return in the download url. So to clarify, say I create a couple of files in my workbench:1. file1.csv2. file2.zip (directly containing e.g. file1.csv)3. file3.txt When I run the workspace locally, all of the files are created and placed in the specified outputfolder. If however I publish the workspace to FME Server I obtain a download link to a zipfile that only contains file1.csv and file3.txtAny ideas on what I'm doing wrong? Or is it maybe just not possible to use the data download service in combination with zipped output files?N.b. Hello!How can I zip shape files separately in FME server? In my FME I use FeatureWriter to do this and it works great. But when I publish my workspace to FME server it does not work anymore. I have 2 separate shape file types (points and polylines) and I want them to be zipped separately (for example point.zip and line.zip). Afterwards I want to download these zip files from FME server.

I have a workbench that has two ESRI Reprojectors that work fine when run in FME Desktop.The first ESRI Reprojector projects from NAD_1983_CSRS_Teranet_Ontario_Lambert to NAD_1983_Teranet_Ontario_Lambert and uses a custom transformation that I created using documentation from our parcel supplier (Teranet). The second ESRI Reprojector reprojects from NAD_1983_Teranet_Ontario_Lambert to NAD_1983_UTM_Zone_17 and does not require a datum transformation.I have copied the transformation file I created on my desktop pc to the server and put it in the same location:C:\\Users\\Administrator\\AppData\\Roaming\\ESRI\\Desktop10.4\\ArcToolbox\\CustomTransformationsAs well, I copied the grid shift file to C:\\Program Files (x86)\\ArcGIS\\Desktop10.4\\pedata\\ntv2\\canada as per the instructions provided by our parcel supplier (Teranet).When I upload the workbench to FME Server and attempt to run the job in FME Server it stops almost immediately with the following error EsriReprojector: Reproject: C

Hi there, I am writing data through excel writer. One of the attributes has got decimal numbers (such as 3.127). However, due to missing type of real32 data type, this attribute is treating as string. I tried to change it to the number but still it write as string. Any suggestions to overcome the issue.P.S. I couldnt use csv writer as few attrbutes has datatype date which I couldnt assign in csv writer.

Hi, has anyone looked at categorising streets in terms of effort to sweep? We're a UK based Local Authority looking to focus resource and want to establish streets within "blowing distance" of trees. Some sort of high, medium, low categories.We believe we could purchase / produce a tree map (IR/DTM/DSM) but does anyone have any experience of then relating that back to streets other than a simple distance to/from the street lines?Interesting to hear anything from you all. Hi there, I am calculating four attributes related to date using attribute creator and then I use Datefromatter to convert those attributes into the desired format (i.e. %y%m%d). When I write those attributes into CSV file, I found that the cell format of those attributes is still 'General'. It didn't change to the date format. Could anyone guide me on how to fix the issue?

I am trying to export data from SQL to CMDM Geodatabase. 200 values got truncated. I changed some of the attribute widths in CMDM, and truncated values decreased to 4. Instead of trying to check each attribute manually, is there any way to find these values directly?

For instance, the regulatory year starts from first May of every year and ends on the last day of April next year. So for the current year regulatory year period would be from 1-05-2019 to 30-04-2020. For the previous year, it would be 1-05-2018 to 30-04-2019. Hello  I am looking for a way to remove zeroes from some attributes, but not all.  1) I have sliced up a string using the "AttributeSplitter" with delimiter "3s4s" 2) original data is 1234567  ->  two new lists (list1: 123 & list2: 4567). 3) Sometimes list2 have 0 as the first character. I am looking for a way to delete this 0 without deleting values with four characters.  Regards, Stig
