split one tabe to many tables depend on ID attribute

i have output of transformer l , it looks like the above table. in the inspectori want to split this table automatically depends on the amount of cells in ID column .as here the table has only 4 rows but sometimes i got another output with different rows ,but any table has idso i want to divide the output of transformer to many seperated output and each output has his own id with his row bcs i want to do some actions later and connected seperately with some transformer .i need the output looks like the picture as down , but i want to create way automatically whatever the amount of ID ,get me the result output seperately .exactly , i have lines with different id and this is the output as shown above. Thanks for help

FME Server - Schedules - Start Time field

Hello,Is there a way to filter "Start Time" field in Ascending / Descending order or any other fields for that matter.I have too many tasks scheduled and it's hard to find the right "start time" slot.On a different note (Not sure if it's the right place): My test/live site is now fully functional and FME Data driven including the HTML Outputs / Layers update... Notification service, which will soon be provided to residents, makes use of FirmStep but the delivery of the notification service is FME at its best!! The other bits rely on Open Source (PostGIS / QGIS...) Basemap = work in progresshttps://molevalley.cloudmappin.com/mmv/ (Not a molevalley.gov.uk domain name because of hosting issue due to time constraint) Thanks and hope you like it. I also take this opportunity to thank the community for their assistance as I've managed to complete my project (well almost).Kind Regards Sameer

Problem With Python Parameter For Date/Time/User stamped log file folders/files

XMLFragmenter Failing with SQL query

I have the following that worksSDE DATA => Test Filter (Name = Point) > XMLFramenter > Rest works as expected 1 feature coming throughI want to remove the Test Filter and and put an SQL Where clause at the SDE Data level ( Name = Point ) the SQL is valid and 1 feature comes through however the XMLFramenter fails.Looking at the data in both cases for the field that contains the XML data is identical yet it fails in one case and not the other, any ideas?

File extensions understood by FME Readers

Folks,I need to scour some file shares with a python script to identify any data files. I would like to exclude 'non data' files and it occurs to me that one way of doing this would be to compare file extensions with a list of format-specific file extensions that are used by FME Readers...The Knowledge Base does list file formats (https://www.safe.com/fme/formats-matrix/ ) but doesn't specify the associated file extensions.Does anyone know if there is a matrix that lists the file extensions associated with each FME Reader?Many Thanks, Graham

MITAB Reader: Failed to open and parse file Make sure that the file exists and is valid

Hi All, I have a workspace published to FME server with a few MI tab readers, nothing special. (read several MI tab files-> manipulate attributes -> extract coordinates -> output to CSV). For whatever reason when the job runs per its scheduled time, It fails with the following error in the log:MITAB Reader: Failed to open and parse file 'E:\\ProgramData\\Safe Software\\FME Server\\repositories\\Workspaces\\SSALocator\\RUR_ADS_PROPNUM.TAB'. Make sure that the file exists and is valid  The tab file is located on a network share so i'm not sure why its referencing the location above? Theres no files here other than a copy of the workspace. It doesn't have a long path name (>260) If i manually click resubmit job, it works fine so i don't believe its file access(I used the full UNC path for the readers). Any suggestions are appreciated.

Unable to retrieve backup from FME Server

Hi,We have an issue with backups on our acceptance FME Server 2019.2 build 19801 We use IIS Application Request Routing and have https: configured with a certificate. We are getting the error: Unable to retrieve backup from FME Server `https://fmeserverurl:433' Please ensure that the credentials are correct and that user `admin' has fmesuperuser role. FeatureMerger to join 2 excel and remove duplicate rows

hello,i am confused a little bit ,how can i use FeatureMerger correctly.I have two excel on my workspace ,Excel A : has three rows but one of them is duplicate from Excel B ,and two rows not .Excel B has 50 rowsi want to merge Excel A with Excel Band if we have any duplicate row (i mean the one of Excel A) ,remove the duplicates and keep the rest of rows .so As a result,i need to have Excel that contains 52 rows .i read alot the Documentation but iam still confused in adjust properties of Featuremerger ,i will be thankful if someone help me .thanks

AttributeManager - Removed Lists reappearing in downstream WorkBench Transformer partial results?

FME 2018.1.1.2 Is this expected behaviour? I've set 2 Lists to be removed from the WorkBench features by AttributeManager. Opening the Partial Results of the Output Port in Data Inspector, they are indeed removed.Yet, in the very next Transformer (happens to be TopologyBuilder) the 2 Lists reappear again on the Features when the Output Port is inspected in Data Inspector, complete with the original list values? Not only that, but trying to remove them with a subsequent AttributeManager, AttributeKeeper etc. does not work, because these Transformers don't think that either of the Lists exist anymore in the Schema and hence won't appear in the selection of Attributes/Lists available to modify! These Lists continue down the Workflow in the Partial Results but remain invisible in the Schema. Further, if I replace the AttributeManager with an AttributeKeeper, the Lists stay removed (and I guess is a workaround?). I'm guessing this may be a bug in how AttributeManager tries

dynamic writer to write empty feature classes

I have a series of feature readers that read data and schema from a postGIS DB and writes to a GDB using a dynamic writer and the schema feature generated from the Feature reader (see image). For some data I have empty tables and FME does not seem to write the corresponding feature class in GDB if no features are found. Now, what I would like to achieve is to force FME to write every feature class (corresponding to a table in the DB) even if the table does not contain any data. Ideally I would need an empty feature class with one row and empty data but also an empty feature class is fine, as long as there is the schema, that would be the requirement. Is it easily possible to achieve in FME desktop?

I am getting an error message

I am getting the following error message when I try to connect a reader to a read-only Arc SDE connection "Unable to read from the table/feature class 'GDM.GasValve'. If 'GDM.GasValve' contains a class extension, make sure it is registered on this computer"I would appreciate if i can get any help with getting round this.

3D Shapefile with 3DForcer?

Hello, i'm pretty sure it's a simple problem, but somehow i'm not able to write a 3D shapefile. Every time I look at the feature information in the Data Inspector, I get "2D" as the dimension. But I need "3D" as dimension. As a test, I have written the script below. After I have created a "test point", I create an attribute with a height, which I write into the Z-value using the 3DForcer. When exporting I want to write a 3D shapefile, but I have some kind of error and I can't see the forest in front of the trees anymore. Thanks a lot for the help

Attribute Creator - using attribute value for a new attribute name

I would like to use an attribute value for a new attribute name using the Attribute Creator transformer, but this just not working. The new attribute is not created even if we can parameter the Attribute Creator to do so:I am using FME 2018.1.0.1 64bitsI have found this old question with the same issue. According to the accepted answer, the issue was suppose to be fixed in FME 2017. So is the problem fixed or not?

What does Excel Reader warning invalid value '' for parameter 'xlsx_start_row' in 2019.2.2.0 mean?

Since upgrading to FME Desktop 2019.2.2.0, when I run FME workbenches with excel readers I get the warning:"Excel Reader: Sheet 'mysheetname' has invalid value '' for parameter 'xlsx_start_row'. Parameter will be ignored""Excel Reader: Sheet 'mysheetname' has invalid value '' for parameter 'xlsx_end_row'. Parameter will be ignored" I never got this before, previously i was running 2019.1.3.1. What does it mean and is it a problem?

task scheduler can't run workspace connecting to arcgis online feature service

ok. so there have been a lot of questions about running a workspace through the task scheduler (and the fact that it doesn't work) with running it manually.I have tried all the solutions suggested.Problem:I have a workspace that logs onto an AGOL account, retrieve the data and create an excel.I have no problem running this workspace manually when I am logged on to the server.The issue is when I schedule this to run using a service account. I get this error:ArcGIS Online Feature Service Reader: Connection 'Esri ArcGIS Online' does not exist. How to delay a part of a process

Hello everybody!I have a process that on ine libe calculates some values and write out in a text file. On an other line a system caller usues these files as an input data (with lascontrol command).I would like to know how can I define to delay these seconfd line until the file writer is not ready. 'Cause now the command gives back an error like: there is no input data (so the textfile).Here is a screenshot of the process.

S57 to Esri GDB

Hi,I don't know much about FME, but there is no ESRI support for S57 Data to get a GDB without getting more expensive Tools. So I found a model of FME Workbench from rylanatsafe (https://knowledge.safe.com/articles/570/s-57-enc-hydrographic-data-format.html)But when I run that model,I get the Error:"Could not create a GEODATABASE_MDB writer. Personal geodatabases are not supported with 64-bit versions of FME and ArcGIS. Plugin 'GEODATABASE_MDB' was loaded, but a writer could not be created. Error was #1: A fatal error has occurred. Check the logfile above for details"Is there any way out? So I need the s57 Data as a GDB with the symbologie of s57 data. (ENC) Thanks for attention.

Remove duplicate record

Hi there, I have a record that consists of 10 attributes/columns. I want to remove duplicate from the record. The duplicate would be based on the value of 5 attributes. When I say duplicate, it means that reduce the number of duplicate records to 1. I read the existing thread on the forum where someone recommended to use Matcher. However, Matcher categorizes the record into duplicate and non-duplicate. I don't want categorization. I want to reduce the duplicate records to 1 record. I also tried to use ListDuplicateremover, the problem in that was it only showed the name of one attribute. Any suggestion

Separate two different entities from one column

Hi,  I have a column named DateTime in a table. The format of date and time is as follows:  9/9/2009 21:23:31 25/12/1991 8:3:23  means There is a space b/w date and time. Date Month Year is seperated by '/' and time by ':' Now, I need to seperate date and time. I want two new attributes Date and Time with respected outputs. Thanks in advance.

Sort attribute values per feature

Sorting happens mostly by one attribute across a set of features. I would like to sort multiple attribute values (all of type datetime) across one feature and pick out the most recent date (of that particular feature) and assign it to a new attribute. I can imagine a lot of complex Testers, but it seems so obvious to use sorting of some kind. Any suggestions?
