Hi,  I have a script that I want to use in FME server. The script is creating vertexpoints from an excelfile and the outcome is points with relevant attribute. However when I run the script in my FME desktop and attach a geopackage writer that saves a file locally it creates the points without a problem. But in FME server nothing happens which is strange since it does create other polygons in the geopackage file. But the vertexpoints that are created in the script are not created in their respective geopackage file. Does anyone know why? I have attached the fme script.

I'm just trying to do a simple join of LSOA areas and an excel with some ONS data, joining based on the field 'LSOA_code'. The join mode is set to inner and appears to join based on the visual preview below from the joined output port but when I write to gdb, the fields I want to add from the excel don't appear to be exposed in the writer.  

Hello!We've got two Engines (FME Server 2020.1.0.1). The workspace accesses files which could be accessed by only one editor. But the workspace can be started by many users. How do I prevent running the same workspace at the same time on both engines? The FME Server should detect whether the workspace is running. If the workspace is running, the new job shall be queued.  Thank you for your help!

I have a workspace1 when completed posts the topic message to another workspace2 that subscribes to it. I get details about the status of the workspace1 which is received via the JSON file in the topic message (FME_TOPIC_MESSAGE). Is there also a method to extract the published parameters of workspace1? I tried HTTP caller with the link to the log file with a GET request but I am not able to achieve it

On our FME Server (version 2019.0.2) we have many Automations running; and many Automations include a schedule.I would like to get the time and day when the Automation is running. I can't find this in the API, is there any other way I could extract this information?

Hi, I'm very, very new to FME and I'm working my way through the FME Academy. Everything has been going swimmingly until I've got to the point of publishing workflows to FME Server as part of the Publish a Self-Serve Workplace to the Web section of the Automate Workflows module in the Integrate Data with the FME Platform trail - https://safe.my.trailhead.com/content/safe/modules/automate-workflows/publish-a-self-serve-workspace-to-the-web The issue I have is that the module refers to a gdb file called CommunityMap.gdb and I can't see it anywhere. It doesn't appear to be a resource on any previous sections. Am I missing something obvious? I'd really appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction to find this gdb file. Many thanks Brendon

Hi, newish user here trying to figure out dwg to shp conversions. I've got the attached DWG file that has 31 feature types that I need to convert to SHP. But when I run the attached workbench it's projected to 0,0 what am I doing wrong? Thanks

FME 2020: How to label the output in the graphic part based on particular field? For example, in the screenshot below, I wanted to label the polygon based on the “parcelnumber” field but couldn’t figure out how to perform this  

FME 2020: How to join the none intersecting lines? In the screenshot below, I wanted first to break at intersection and then to join the none intersecting lines. How this can be performed in FME to end up with 4 lines?     

The attached data has 164028 rows but only 134483 row are actually read. I can import using Excel and this has the correct amount of data but if I use FME I get less, anyway I can resolve this? I have also attached the parameters I used. Cheers

Hello,  I use one featureReader to load Oracle spatial data on my workspace. How can i choose my geometry like the oracle spatial reader ? By defaut fme read the first geometry field.  Thank you

As an example, in Excel you would use the filter function and select specific values from the drop down menu across multiple columns. How in FME do you filter rows of data based on attributes held in multiple columns? I've looked at the two SQL translators; SQLCreator and SQLExcuter but both need connecting directly to a database. In my case I need to use the transformer within my workflow. Thanks.

I am not able to get the result that i want :i would like to have the same value of difference column for the same id but it depends on larger lengths for id_counter column .when we compare the row no.3 and row now.4 for id = 6so the output should be for first row id_counter = 1 /lengths = 2 /ID = 6/ difference = goodand the other row for the same id will be still the sameand the same idea with all rows . if the value in difference column is the same for the same_id so the program should do nothing and keep it .i was thinking to do it with matcher but i could not get the correct result .thanks for help fme 2018

I have a workspace where I have lines that are clearly duplicated but the matcher does not identify them because the coordinates are flipped on one versus the other. Is there a way to identify duplicate geometries for lines regardless of whether the coordinates are flipped. For example: Line 1Coordinate 0 = 1973175.975504196, 1785187.3988771015Coordinate 1 = 1973164.445329631, 1784950.337012621 Line 2Coordinate 0 = 1973164.445329631, 1784950.337012621Coordinate 1 = 1973175.975504196, 1785187.3988771015 Both lines are identical, however the direction of one is different from the other. So how can I eliminate one of these based solely on geometry.

I have 8 bookmarks each are doing separate tasks. However, the 1st bookmark must be done before the others. And the 8th bookmark must be done last. How do I enforce this?

A tool in FME to remove duplicates,  I couldn’t figure out which tool can remove duplicates. For example, in case we have two lines that are identical (one on top of another), then which tools can remove this duplicate?  For example, in the screenshot below we have 4 lines that are identical, then how to remove three of them and to leave one?    Thank you  Best  Jamal

HelloI am having trouble extracting attributes from a kml for the features that have photos.I am using XQuery similar to this example https://community.safe.com/s/question/0D54Q0000848CTkSAM/extracting-information-from-different-folders-in-kml-to-convert-to-the-shapefile That method works for the features that don't have photos but the features that have photos seem to have a extra section in the HTML that is causing my XQuery to fail. The Xquery I am using is : declare default element namespace "http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml";for $x in /html/body/table/tr/td/table/trreturn fme:set-attribute($x/td[1]/text(),$x/td[2]/text()) I am pretty sure I just need to modify the Xquery 

Hi,The problem I'm trying to solve is as follows:I have about 2,000 aerial imagery ECW files, averaging in size around 30MB (so around 60GB in total).Each of the files cover 1km x 1km on the ground at a resolution of 10cm, so are 10,000px x 10,000px.I have been asked to downsample each file to 2,048px x 2,048px and output the results as a series of 4km x 4km tiles (each tile being 8,192px x 8,192px).I have an index feature class that lists each 'FileName' and its corresponding 'Tile' attribute.I've attached an image that shows this spatially, below.Large black squares and number labels represent the tiles that I want to output.
