I cannot understand why I get the error message MS SQL Server Spatial (JDBC) Writer: Error writing feature. Error: Attribute 'DATECOLLECTED' does not contain a valid timestamp The timestamp I want to write is for the moment hard coded as 2021-07-20.The databse accept this format confirmed with successful update SQL update dbo.Featureset "DATECOLLECTED" = '2021-07-20'where ID = ... Why does FME fail to write to my db? Any suggestions?

Hello everyone!I have a sample Revit file which contains the basic elements of a Revit file.I am interested in performing certain geometric tests through the FME, for example: Are certain elements in a place where they are not supposed to be present, Is a certain element in the right room,Does the element of a toilet for example, have enough space according to the standard we will define.And so on.When I approached the task, I was sure that the FME would be able to solve it without any problem at all, and then reality hit me.Any action I try to do with the help of the transformers I know (I work mostly in the GIS world, and know it's a little different from BIM), I do not succeed.For example:I intentionally inserted a foundations between the walls, and I expected to see that when I make a clip between the wall and the foundations, one object will be inside.What am I missing here?Do I need to move the 3D objects through another process before the required actions can be performed?Or

I have a unique value logger attached to a table and a workspace runner. It took me a while to realize it, but what it does is goes through each unique value and runs the entire 'child' fme once for each unique value, but it runs all unique values each time it runs . I put a test filter on the input table in the workspace runner workspace so that it only has one unique value to 'give' the runner and that solved the problem.This seems very strange but it works. Does anyone know why this works like this and if there's a less 'hacky' way? Thank you,Randy McGregor 

I am essentially looping through httpcaller results and need a way to pass a value from the last record returned in a loop, I dont know how many records will be returned. I was using the stats calc to get the max value but that is blocking the loop from running within the one workbench. Does anyone have any suggestions, thank you

After upgrading to FME Server from 2020.0 to 2021.1, I have noticed that all my server apps show a header that is displayed over my header logo for the page that says "Run Workspace". I have tested this with existing and new server apps, as well as with multiple browsers. Does anybody know how to remove this? FME Server Build2021.121607 - Win64

We have an issue where the license server (flex) is going through loads of ports which are closed before finding an open one, as a result everytime we try to run FME it hangs for about 30s waiting for the license ping back, is there anything we can do to try to consistently use an open port? We dont seem to have issues with other licenses that are hosted on that server.

i have more than one input ,they are connecting in seperated input ports of pdf page formatter transformer but i have only one port output .how could i rearrange layer orders for each input .if i get all of them from only one output porti would like to show some layers down and others up  FME 2018

I'm in a jam. Installed a transformer from FME hub and then after tweaking it was not able to revert back to the original. The original took on the definition(?) of the tweaked one. When I try to download it fresh, it gives me the tweaked one. I have a feeling it lives somewhere, but can't find it. How do you purge a bum transformer? I tried to delete the tweaked version and it crashed every time. No good. Any ideas? I can't be the only one. Thanks

It takes in 3 parameter,Input file gdbFeatureClass nameOutput file gdbWhat it does, is to copy the contends of the featureclass to the outputfile gdb and I would like to convert it to FME Can some help me with this conversion? I have a workflow that uses the SharePoint Online connector to download and upload files from SharePoint.It works fine on FME Desktop on my machineIt works fine if I run the workspace with fme.exe from the shell on my desktopIt fails on our server with the following message:Python Exception <ModuleNotFoundError>: No module named 'fmepy_microsoft_sharepoint'I have set up a web connection for this SharePoint instance and that connection was uploaded to the server when I published the workspace.How can I fix this issue?

Despite the fact that the nad83 and wgs84 datums are supposedly identical, there are several ways to get from one to the other and they result in different placement. ESRI recommends this transformation: WGS_1984_(ITRF00)_To_NAD_1983FME appears to use this one: nad_1983_to_wgs_1984_1 I am using AttributeReprojector on a dataset with several coordinate systems. Is it possible to indicate a specific geographic transformation for nad83 to wgs84 when using this? Thank you, Randy McGregor

I've connected to my ArcGIS Portal and can read a feature service. I want to add several where clauses to narrow down this read each time. Adding "objectid">0 returns records, adding "workerid"=88 returns records, but I can't figure out the syntax to apply both in the same where clause. When using the REST API directly its just where=ObjectID>0&workerid=88 and this returns multiple records. But in FME it returns 0 Any ideas how i can combine multiple conditions in my where clause?

I am trying to have this demo https://community.safe.com/s/article/live-spatial-dashboard working on my FME Server, but I am not sure what is the right port to use in the web socket sender, I have my FME Server in another server from my network so I access it through the hostname and a specific port, but I have tried to use the same host name to get this Demo working and I can't have it correctly. I am using (ws:<hostname>:7078) in the websocket sender, and originally it was (ws:localhost:7078/websockets), my browser is giving me a connection error.When I run the workspace in FME Server I don't get an error, it keeps running.Thanks 

Hi All,I created a SchemaMapper lookup table in PostgreSQL and used it to map schemas in two scenarios.When I used ESRI SDE feature class as a reader and PostgreSQL as a writer the SchemaMapper mapped all and no problemWhen I used SQLExecutor reading from Microsoft SQL Server database that creates a query from four tables and writing to a Single PostgreSQL table, the SchemaMapper outputs the results as unmapped. I have used AttributeExposer transformer and it still didn't change. please see the screen shot below:Can anyone please help me fix the issue or let me know if I'm missing anything?Thank you in advance

I am wanting to trigger a very simple automation using a webhook. There is no need to pass any parameters - I just need the automation to run two workspaces. When I set up the webhook, copy the webhook url, and then start the automation, the webhook fails to run if I call it.  What puzzles me is that configuring a webhook using the automations (as opposed to creating a webhook for a specific workspace) doesn't add a token that I can manage under User Settings >> Manage Tokens. I found this token management to be essential to ensuring that the webhook had the correct permissions to run successfully. Please advise on what I am missing or doing incorrectly. Note that I am using FME Server 2020.0 (Win64) Thanks

I have 2 shapefile files, each have about 13,000 features. I need to know what the minimum and maximum distance each feature of file 1 for example has in relation to file 2. How to do that?
