How do I direct FME to use the active, cloned Python environment in ArcGIS Pro instead of the default (and unmodifiable) environment?

Assuming I successfully get FME to use an ArcGIS Pro license instead of a Desktop license -- a current problem -- I would like to know how to direct FME to use my cloned and currently active Python environment instead of the default (and unmodifiable) one that got installed with Pro. I have added several modules and site packages to the clone that I would like to use in FME. I read in another post (lost track of it) that FME might only be able to use the original Python environment installed with Pro. It was suggested that maybe adding the paths to the site-packages and bin directories in the clone to my system path environment variable would allow use of the clone. I have done that ... but alas, I still haven't gotten FME to use a Pro license. This brings up another question, though. On a colleagues machine where FME is using a Pro license, the workspace translation log only reports the version of Pro that is being used: there is no indication of which Python environment is

calculate distance between parallel lines

EDIT: so i need to find a way to use the 1 feature set (just the pink lines) find a pair of them. (maybe the fuzzyparallelfinder would work for this) split those pairs so i get only one of them then do this perpendicular line long enough to cross the other pair, spatialrelate that back to pair a, filter those and then calculate that length. any ideas on how to pair and split each parallel set? (see comments below for reasoning)I have row line features. I need to determine the distance between them (or easement width). I have been successful creating polygons out of these by using the fuzzyparallelfinder (custom) transformer. I also need the easement width attribute assigned to each line prior to making the polygons.the method for creating the polygons is pretty simple using the fuzzyparallelfinder and then using a snapper and areabuilder. But i get very unbelievable values if i use the statistics calculator as described in other posts. can anyone help with what i am missing?

Python Caller: Output list of attributes

How to get FME to recognize and use my ArcGIS Pro license instead of Desktop?

I am getting the following error (out of the blue, I might add. One run, everything humming along fine until "bam", next run, license/Python compatibility error):ERROR : FME initialized 'ArcGISDesktop', but the workspace Python compatibility setting is 'Esri ArcGIS Python 3.7+'. Please check the Python compatibility setting in the workspaceI have both ArcGIS Desktop (10.8.1) and ArcGIS Pro (2.9.1) installed, and I am using 64-bit FME Desktop Professional 2022.2. My dropdown list for the Python Compatibility parameter, however, does not include separate listings for ArcGIS Desktop vs. ArcGIS Pro, only for "Esri ArcGIS Python maj.min" . (1) Does "Esri ArcGIS" mean ArcGIS Desktop?; and (2) if so, what do I need to do to get ArcGIS Pro choices listed in the dropdown and to get FME to recognize and use my ArcGIS Pro license instead of my Desktop license?

I have two separated polygons. both of them have unique identifier which is written inside polygons. also, both of them have area_official, but it is written on the bigger polygon. s, I want to associate the area and smaller polygon together. What I do to make it work?

ESRI python interpreter on FME Server

I have a workspace that uses ESRI ArcGIS Python 3.9+ and works as intended on FME Desktop. When uploading to FME Server, I receive this error: A Python interpreter could not be loaded. Please ensure the workspace `Python Compatibility` is set to an available Python version. Based on this link, Using Python with FME Server (safe.com), I believe I need to upload the correct python module to the FME Server Resources directory (presumably a python module that was distributed with the install of ArcGIS Pro 3.0). Both the ESRI software and FME Server are installed on the same machine. I'm having trouble locating the correct files to upload to the Resources. Which files need to be uploaded, and where would I find them?

The Geodatabase is newer than the ArcGIS installed on this machine

I'm trying to run an old project in Desktop 2020 and keep running up against the error "The Geodatabase ... is newer than the ArcGIS installed on this machine. As a result the Geodatabase cannot be opened"Log file shows it checks out a license from ArcGIS 10.6.1 but I have ArcGIS 10.8 installed, although there is a Desktop10.6 folder in ArcGIS/Program files as well.Can I 'force' FME to select a 10.8 ArcGIS license or is there another work around?

ArcSDE to PDF

I want to convert the features from ArcSDE to a pdf. I have an autocad file that contains some blocks to assign to points that can use as a template. I also have an Excel file that contains the color and width of each Lines that can to be assigned to specific features. I would like to know how I can assign the Autocad file to my feature. In addition when I try to determine the values ​​of pdf_fill_color using Atribute Format, the color doesn't change at all. do you know where i can find color code? (DWG Styler doesn't help me because I have color of features as code in an excel file and I just need to link color to feature.

Custom transformer parent name is missing when transformer type is an external transformer

I want to check my FME processes using the FMW reader. I noticed that when reading transformers, the value in the attribute field "custom_transformer_parent_name" is missing if the transformer is an "ExternalTransformer". Is this a bug? Most of the transformers where this error occurs are custom transformers I created myself.

Working on FME Workbench but not working on FME Server

Hello everyone! First time using and writting something in community. I apologize if this is not appropriate place to put this question and also if I'm not going to write it based on some rules. Anyhow: Long story short, I have FME workflow which is working how it should on Workbench. But when I publish it on FME server, for some reason it doesn't want to use all readers or writers are not working properly.  Readers:3 excel1 csv1 mdbWriters:1 excel Result from FME workbench: Result from FME server: As you can see, worksheets in results are different. I believe I did everything correct with setups in readers and writers (if needed, I can provide screenshots on how it looks like). Tried also to make new Readers/Writers. Tried to make different repository and put it there. Also weird warnings that appear after the workflow has been runned:  Again, I apologize if I missed the place to post this, or also if I didn't write this question correctly. Top down georeferenced image from photomesh

I have some photomesh files that I would like to turn into 2d top down raster images. Is there a way I can accomplish that in FME while preserving the georeferencing. Most of my viewing software allows me to export a snapshot, but the geocoordinates are not preserved.Original data (obj)Desired output (geotiff) I can't just use the texture files because they are spaghetti.

Start an FME Workspace from a batch file which includes the paths to source and output files for inputs and outputs

I would like to start an FME workspace that has 2 CSV readers with a batch script that specifies the path for the CSV files that each CSV reader (in red). The workspace also has a CSV and Shapefile writer (in green) that I need to specify the output paths for.Is this possible?  tC/.

Change title of open workspaces in Windows taskbar?

I've got several workspaces open at one time, and have a hard time switching between them using the Windows Taskbar because their names are "MULTI - MULTI", "SHAPEFILE - MULTI" etc.  I know Alt-Tab will cycle through, but I usually want to click on the taskbar to bring it to the foreground. Is there a way to display the file name instead on the Taskbar? Not the directory as these get pretty long. So it shows "land-use.fmw", "birds-of-prey.fmw", "routing.fmw" or whatever. Here's what I've got open right now:

FME Server App not rendering correctly in Edge.

I've got a server app that uses an HTMLReportGenerator to create a simple web page. It contains a few paragraphs, a table and a very simple SVG chart. However, when I run it from Edge, the SVG is missing, and line spacing and font sizes are different. In Chrome it's fine.However, if I do View Source, copy the html into a new doc and open that in Edge it looks as expected. Styling is within the html, except that which it references from bootstrap@4.5.3/dist/css/bootstrap.min.css

HTTPCaller wait for new page to load

I am trying to use a HTTPCaller to call a website.The problem is that the website first is showing a loading-page while it's loading some data and after up to 8 seconds the new page is showing.The problem is that the HTTPCaller just gets the loading-page. Is there a way to let the HTTPCaller to wait until the new page is retrieved?
