With older MongoDB Reader, there was no problem on using regex for the JSON Filter parameter, such as:{"insee_code": /^06004/}I can't find how to use regex in the Mongo query with the MongoDB3 Reader, and I have this type of error :MONGODB3 reader: SetAttributeFilter(): Got parse error at "/", position 61: "SPECIAL_EXPECTED": could not parse JSON documentI also notice that the Mongo keys always require to be between quotes, while with MongoDB Reader version we could use "un quoted" keys for filter. Are there any other changes with this new driver? Thanks for the info ! I use FME Desktop 2019.2.1.0 (20191202 - Build 19813 - WIN64)Mongo version is 4.0.13

Custom coordinate systems and parameters for transformation between them

I have to define 3 custom coordinate system ( HDKS-5, HDKS-6, HTRS96 or epsg codes: 3907, 3908, 3765 ) and parameters for transformations between them. I tried this: https://demos-safe-software.fmecloud.com/fmedatastreaming/Coordsys/Start.fmw? I copy esri wkt from https://epsg.io/3765 and paste to previous link but I get wrong results when I transform from HDKS-5 to HTRS96.Thanks in advance.

How to adapt "Easy Translator" code after copying its workspace to my cloud

I copied its workspace and want to publish it into my cloud and want to adapt the javascript example code accordingly. I request to get hints in order to understand what are the relevant pieces in the code that I have to adapt and how to adapt them. This will enable me to run any of my workspaces by javascript after I had uploaded them to my cloud. Help will be greatly appreciated. P.S. - importantNow I think maybe Upload File In Session is more suitable to adapt for my needs. If it's right, then I'll appreciate help in adapting it. Michael

Calculate quantile

Hi, I've searched for the ways to calculate quantile for an attribute in FME with no joy. Does anyone know if there's a transformer or a combination (possibly sorting and then extract the value at a certain row?) that's capable of calculating quartile, percentile etc in FME? Cheers.

Hi.I am wanting to export a point layer (GEODATABASE FILE) to a .dwg using the pre-reconfigured block template symbols. I have attempted using the DWGStyler but it will not pick up the templates symbols for some reason and just places a point. I have tried following https://community.safe.com/s/question/0D54Q000080hglVSAQ/replace-point-with-symbol-from-a-dwg but there is not quite enough detail on how to go about it. Can someone please provide the parameters that I need to fill to get the symbol to a dwg file.Thanks.

Writing Custom CAD Linestyles using DGN Writer

I have been having trouble writing geometries into custom linestyles in dgn. I have specified the seed file in the writer parameters and have set the color, style and weights using the "From Seed File" level overrides in the writer. However, when I write out the dgn, the custom linestyles seem to be dropped.I have attached an image with some test lines. The dgn on the right is the dgn that was written out and the dgn on the left is what I am working towards. I created my seed file by deleting all the lines I drew in the dgn on the left. Does anyone have any advice?

Upload File In Session example (in FME Server Playground) - MUST contain EsriReprojector between GenericReader and GenericWriter

Upload File In Session in FME Server Playground documentation(and also both "Easy Translator" and "Easy Translator FME Server App" presented at FME Server Playground Demos demos),all use GenericReader + GenericWriter to do both format transformations and coordinate transformations. Actually, in order to correctly reproject between different coordinate systems, all these demos should contain also the EsriReprojector in between the GenericReader and the GenericWriter (and enable filling its public parameters from the javascript web app). Example of what happens if EsriReprojector is not used:Converting coordinates between Israel TM grid (EPSG:2039) and wgs84 (EPSG:4326) need to handle many internal parameters, and this is done correctly only by EsriReprojector by using WGS_1984_To_Israel_CoordFrame Transformation. All examples mentioned above fail to do it correctly (they shift the results) because they don't use EsriReprojector in between the Generic-reader an

Create fields from attribute values

In a file geodatabase, I have created over 400 feature classes. To each feature class, attributes will be added. Therefore I have created a workbench in which several tables are joined. An intermediate result is a table which contains a field called ‘Attribuut’. This column contains the names of all the target attributes, each row one attribute. This intermediate table also contains a field (‘Gegevenstype’) which describes how the future attribute is defined (field type). A simple ‘Attribute creator’ transformer does not do the job. I have read and tried several possible solutions on the FME-forum, but unfortunately without result. To understand how the process works, a tester is added to create a table for one specific feature class. When the process functions properly, a loop will be added to perform the job for all objecttypes.Can anyone help???

Why would Urllib.request.urlopen return b'' when running a webhook?

Writing geometry with Application Schema does not name geometry accordingly in GML 2.1.2 Writer

So my xsd file says that geometry name must be <gd:centralLine>. However, while writing in GML 2.1.2 Writer using application schema I get <gml:lineStringProperty> as a result. How to force that my geometry is named as in xsd file?I've tried GeometryPropertySetter - no success I'm using FME 2016

Geodatabase Database Diagram

I'm looking for a tool to assist with the creation of databases diagrams for an enterprise geodatabase. Essentially, I would like to create a table with: field names, data types and length (domains would be nice but not necessary). It looks like Scheme Reader (from table) should allow me to do this but I haven't been able to figure it out. Is anyone able to provide an example? ESRI use to have a tool to do this but it no longer works with 10.5+. Documenting your geodatabase design

I need to mosaic thousands of images, I was wondering if this is possible with FME or FME/cloud. Is there any feature for dealing with big Geodata? and what is the maximum capacity?

Hello,I have to connect to a WebSocket API (never even knew that excisted) which has an endpoint.wss://<IP>/api/v2/data/main/metricsThen I can send{ "Reference": "Get_reference", "Command": { "Get": { "Select": "Identifier", "Filter": "parameter" } }}And I should get a JSON back{ "Reference": "Get_reference", "Data": [ { // ... and so on }}I tried with WebSocketReceiver to connect to the API, I got the handshake and it keeps running. Then I created a workspace with a WebSocketSender to send the JSON but it only sends and I get no output. Is this even possible or should I use a PythonCaller? TIA Edit: I'm testing this in FME Workbench - is this someting the FME server should do? Hello!I have 2 workspaces. The second workspace call the first with a workspace runner.The user of the workspace will launch only a .fme file. So for the moment, I use published parameters to fill the parameters on the workspace runner. But it's very long and if I update the first workspace I have to change the second one.So there is a way to show the parameters of the workspace runner directly on the form when the workbench run ?Thanks!

DWG - Get Bounding box of text without anchor point

Hello all,I'm reading labels from a DWG and trying to determine what line they apply to based on their location relative to the line. As part of this I use the oriented bounding box of the text rather than the anchor point as the text usually has the anchor point below and to the left of the actual text while it is the actual text the user has positioned relative to the line. A BoundingBoxReplacer works well for this. However the bounding box includes the anchor point. How can I create a primary key so Microsoft Access Writer won't throw an error?

I am creating a query from Snowflake and want to write the results to a Microsoft Access database. The job fails when writing to Access with the following error: Microsoft Access Writer: Writer mode for feature type `tblDaily' requires key column specification, or a where clause specification. I have searched on line and can't find a good example of how to correct this error. Can you point me in the right direction? Thanks!

I am using a KML file exported from a GPS device and using FME I have have translated the KML to excel. I want to use a transformer to remove the extra text in the cell that I don't need and retain the text that I do need to conduct a match to the image file. Filter by UTM Zone

Hello all,I am processing a dataset in the state of Queensland, Australia which lies across three UTM zones.Because my processing involves calculating area and perimeter in metres, and my source data is in LL I want to divide the data according to the three zones, reproject, calculate, and then reproject back.How can I filter each spatial object so that it goes only once into each appropriate zone?SpatialFilter tests the whole candidate, but if an object lies on the boundary I only want it to go into one zone, so really I want to filter by the centroid of the spatial object, not the entire object.Is there a filter for centroids?
