Hi I have installed GoogleCloudPubSubConnector from the hub but I am unable to use it since it keeps failing the test for web service authentication.https://hub.safe.com/publishers/safe/packages/google-cloud-pubsub I can't proceed further, I always receive this error message:Error 401: disabled_clientSign in with Google temporarily disabled for this app. This app has not been verified yet by Google in order to use Google Sign In.  Does anybody encounter this before? Thank you 

Hi there, I'm running into an issue where an attribute that was initially numeric ('counts') is being converted to a character type after I sum 'counts' for each 'tree_type' per 'area_unit' using AttributePivoter (example left to right in image below). Note: These attributes/data are just an example. This is a problem as I'm trying to write the results as a shapefile, which won't work properly for analysis in ArcGIS Pro as it recognises these fields as text rather than integer. Here are more details about my process for summing counts of tree types by area unit.  Input = CSV and 'counts' is read in as UInt32. 1.) I used an AttributeExploder with exploding type set to List, Keep Attributes = Yes, and Keep Geometry = No (Geometry is added later).2.) I can't find a way to do what I want.I got a certain number of features. I want to find the max(date) on attribute date for those features, but I want the max(date) to be in relation to a condition on a value from an another attribute status.  So I want the max(date) to be calculated and returned first from feature where status = completedif no features have a status=completed then returned max(date) from the other features 1 20230330 completed2 20230329 completed3 20230331 running4 20230329 waitingwould returned max(date) from feature 1 : 20230330 1 20230330 waiting2 20230329 running3 20230331 running4 20230331 waitingwould returned max(date) from feature 3 or 4 since no value set to completed :20230331  

Hi Everyone I am slightly bamboozled and wanted to know if someone knows where I am going wrong or if this is a potential bug.I have had used the FME Cloud and FME Server for loads of FME Server Apps, and havent come across this issue so far. I get the following warning after running a fme server app I am converting a .dwg file to an excel file.  If I use a feature_reader set for readings dwg:Autodesk AutoCAD DWG/DXFI get the warning, that the no output can be generated. But if I read an ifc and convert it to excel, all is well.  Is there maybe a problem reading dwgs? Why is there no output generated? The FME Server Jobs show that the job is completed without any errors. I have uploaded a .dwg and .ifc and the workspace regardsFred 

Is there a transformer that will convert a multilinestring to a linestring object? I'm trying to load road centrelines in an oracle spatial database, but the road centreline table in oracle uses GTYPE 2002 (line). Multilinestring is 2006, so I can't apply a spatial index. Any suggestions please?

Hi there,Slightly off the wall here, but has anyone created a workspace that can create Bingo cards? Ideally a 5x3 grid of random numbers between 1-90, but no repeating numbers...?Obviously, RandomNumberGenerator can give us a way to actually play the game...but I'm thinking whether FME can create the cards for users to play with..?Thanks!

Hello, I am writing to an excel sheet with an existing template. Before the writer, I am using a counter (starting at 0) and attribute creator to then use "Use attribute names as column positions" and "Row number attribute". My attributes are B, C and D which are various strings and B_row_number (@Evaluate(16*@Value(_count)+10)) and CD_row_number (@Evaluate(16*@Value(_count)+16)). I would like the output sheet to look like the image below:Unfortunately, I can't assign different "Row Number Attributes" to arrange it this way (B using B_row_number, and C,D usin CD_row_number). I get the feeling there is a simple workaround I'm not seeing. Any help is appreciated! Thank you.

Hi Community, I'm working on a workflow that needs to write a final Feature class based on a particular hierarchy. The workflow includes a few 'AreaOnAreaOverlayer' steps + ListConcatenator to indicate which parcel overlaps which, below a screenshot with the desired hierarchy:1 - Most important parcels A2- Middle important parcels B3- Less important parcels C  I can't run dissolve + clip as need to keep the overlapping information to be 'listconcatenated' so decided to use a Sorter (alphabetical order) to obtain the desired order but isn't working 😞 as there's areas where the parcels C are on top of the parcels B. Below an example where the overlap in the middle between 2 parcels (B + C) should be assigned to B but for some reason is CThere must be a way to tell FME please write parcel A on top of parcels B and then parcels B on top of parcels C and parcels A on top parcels C. A>B>C Thanks a lot in advanced 🙂

Hi, we have a citygml file that contains a bridge. The validation by "citydoctor " showed no errors. Now we wanna extract the geometry. FME can read the file without error. But only a core element is shown and I cannot get the geometry!By the way we got the same result with the template bridge from the university (KIT)! Does anyone have any ideas or tipps for me?Thanks in advance.

So the result should be a point cloud that has points in a grid of 1m x 1m. Personally I would make a DEM with cell size 1m, but that's not what they want. So I have a boundary of the project area. I make a 2dgrid with cell size 1 meter. I clip the grid, because it's made on the hull of the project area and not the project area itself. Then I use the grid to make points in the center of each cell and also use the grid to clip my point cloud. I use the pointcloudstatisticscalculator to get the mean of the z values within one cell of the grid. So I can use the X en Y from the center point and have to add the Z from the statisticscalculator. I merge the data together based on the counter I added. Then I use the vertexcreator to make points with the correct X, Y en Z. If I inspect these, everything looks good. In the data inspector we see that the points have the correct X, Y en Z.The problem is that I can not write the data as point cloud. Not as xyz file and not as las file. I

Hi Community, Classic issue with the PointOnAreaOverlaye where I have got one location where the same centroid is shared between two parcels and want to bring the information from point to area. Attached two screenshots that explain the situation. In theory...by creating a list and exploding should work but doesn't give me what I want as the output contains 2 parcels overlaps where there're two points Example 1) I need to bring the assign the point info to each of the parcels. As you can notice the point on the left is shared between two parcels.Example 2) Also, I need to bring the assign the point info to each of the parcels. As you can notice the point on the right is shared between two parcels.I have tried to 'Generate List on output Area' and then explode but the 'element_index' and '_overlap' are different so can't use a tester to filter the list.I have also tried NeighborFinder to filter only those centroids at the middle of the parcel . Thanks

I am trying to add an ArcGIS Server Feature Service reader to my workspace. I just need one of the layers from the service. Several of the layers have the same name but are differentiated by their parent layer (which are scale dependencies). FME Desktop Help claims it shouldn't be a problem, stating "The reader resolves ambiguity by appending the layer ID to the end of feature types if multiple layers share the same name. If a layer ID is present in the feature type, the ID takes precedence over the name." That doesn't appear to be happening because I receive the following when I select my desired layer and try to add it: "ArcGIS Feature Service Reader: Found multiple layers/tables that match the feature type 'Stations, PNM (4)'. They are: 'Stations (4), Stations (10), Stations (16), Stations (22), Stations (28), Stations (34), Stations (40)'. Resolve the ambiguity by specifying the layer/table ID in the feature type." I have encountered a problem when formating a datetime. A log is raising a warning when the value is null. In order to avoid warnings in log I try to setup a condition in AttributeManager. I would like to reuse (copy/paste) the condition definition so I try to use "@CurrentAttribute". It's working as expected in Attribute Value part, but not in the test condition (see attached image).If I use @CurrentAttribute() ATTRIBUTE_HAS_A_VALUEI get <null> results despite the attribute has a value. Any suggestion how to set up the condition for current attribute correctly? 

Hi all.An I correct in assuming, that FME cannot handle non-point geometries, i.e. with multiple nodes, when some nodes have Z values, and some don't ?I'm seeing that GeometryReplacer adds dummy Z values (0) where they're missing when importing from WKT og GeoJSON.Is this a problem with the transformer only, or a more general problem with the handling of Z values ?In a system we're running on FME Server, I need to replace any missing Z values with an official fixed value: -99. This is done using the 3DForcer. But if I can't control missing Z values during import, things are very problematic.I made a small test workspace, and ran it in 2020.2 and 2022.2, and both exhibited the same behaviour.Cheers

Hi all.I have two sets of automations, where all automations in set 1 needs to be all done before initaiting all automations in set 2.I'm wondering what the best practice is for this scenario ?I tried to include an active wait mechanism in the set 2 automations, but then they just got started first, blocking the set 1 automations.I'm starting all set 1 automations with a single (topic) trigger, as they may run in parallel, and I can start all set 2 automations with another single trigger. But all set 2 need to wait for all set 1 to finish, and that I can't do with triggers as far as I know.All help and suggestions are appreciated.Cheers

I would like to insert to a Postgres table where ther is set up an trigger event with hstore function to write to another table. While running in common SQL client with "public" search_path, there is no problem.I can't make it run in FME workspace, always getting an error:ERROR:  function hstore(vfk.par) does not existwhere "vfk.par" is the table I'm writing to. I have tried to add search_path "public" setup in "SQL To Run Before Write" but with no luck. Any hints, please?-------EDIT: In another workspace with another schemas but with similar tasks it runs without errors as expected. The triggers with its functions are almost identical.

I'm wondering to what degree items uploaded to FME Hub are checked? Are they considered "safe to download" or "use at your own risk"? Imagine a wild scenario where I would upload a custom transformer with a SystemCaller in it that formats the c drive, will that get flagged or not? (and what if I password-protect it?)

Hello I’m new to FME.  How do you rename a source_file  (MapInfo.Tab) and copy it to another folder using a Filecopy writer? I've seen similar questions to this but I still don't know how to do it. I managed to replicate the Filecopy following the instructions here: https://knowledge.safe.com/articles/How_To/Including-files-dynamically-in-a-data-download-result .However, I want to rename my MapInfo tab file (which I am copying with the Filecopy) and I’m not able to do this. This is what my process looks like:  The source table is named Car_Parking.Tab and I want it to be CARPARKING.Tab  in the output folder. Landmark is copying fine and I don’t need to change the name. These two are part of a bigger workbench which copies many files.  For now Car_Parking.* is copying as Car_Parking.* to my output. I did try various things -changing the _filename_part in an attributecreator, Fanout options (I managed to create a  CARPARKING folder )- Creating a Path and file name reader... etc-

Hi All, I'm very new to FME so excuse my noobiness. I'm bring in a roughly 20 shapefiles and running them through a attribute filter to pull out the ones with a matching project number, from there i'm exporting them out as a .csv.  As it currently stands all results are put into one spreadsheet. not ideal. i would like them all in one spreadsheet but as separate tabs for each individual layer. As a work around i've made each layer its own attribute filter running to its own .csv writer, then i'm copying them into a single spreedsheet.
