Hi all.I'm just being told, that we're importing 3D data (points, lines, polygons) with "missing" Z coordinates = 0.I need to delete each and every one of these values, or exchange them with the value -99.Is there a transformer that can do that easily ?I would rather not have to to explode all geometries to points, repair the Z, and reassemble all geometries.Any ideas ?Cheers

FME(R) 2022.2.5.0 (20230329 - Build 22795 - WIN64 Hello Just detected this possible bug when importing Attribute Names / Values using Attribute Manager. The Names are pre-sorted and the "Sorted" option unticked as shown below. Once the dataset has been imported (Select * for Input/Output/Values) the values are set as shown below. Was I not meant to see the actual values or have I misunderstood this part? Looks like the Attribute Names have been set as values. I downloaded gml file of munich and want to use only few buildings, specifically TUM, from it. However the gml covers large area.  How do I cut out the buildings that I want and remove the other buildings from the gml and then save it?  I tried using "Clipper" transformers but I dont have any other information or files to use other than personally knowing that I only want the specific few buildings.  

Hello, I'm reprojecting tens of millions of complex polygons from LL-WGS84 to Esri's USA_Contiguous_Albers_Equal_Area_Conic_USGS coordinate system. There are many other transformers in the workspace as well. Using the EsriReprojector, the reprojection works as expected but takes a very long time. Using CsmapReprojector, the polygons are 3ft (~1 meter) off from where I'd expect, but it's about 30 times faster (many hours!). I've noticed this difference between the two transformers before with any reprojection that has a datum transformation. Does anyone have any ideas that would allow the performance of CsmapReprojector with the results of the EsriReprojector? Notes:I saw another post where a user believes FME is not correctly performing a datum transformation between WGS84 and NAD83. - Could this be a mistake in CsmapReprojector?I have tried changing the Reprojection Engine from FME to Esri in the workspace parameters.The spatial difference seems to be present in an

Hello,In a model that I am creating, i would to expose attribute in the feature reader automatically . The idea is to use the same model for different dataset. I have seen that is not possible to do it automatically but I would ask you if it's possible to do that using the user parameters. if yes, please, can You explain me how to do?Or if there are some other ways.The input file is not stored locally and it's a zip file. Thanks to all. Max 

Most of our automations are started by a FME-Server Schedule-Trigger. I would like to make a list with all automations and their start-times. I can get a list of all automations with the REST API, but how could I get all the start-times? Thanks, Vera

 

Hello everyone, I'm trying to create a automatization of the Viewshed geoprocessing (a raster and a shape file in input and a raster in output) from Arcgis in FME (because its ModelBuilder doesn't work as well). But I didn't find any transformer or python script by Python Caller about it. Have any ideas or tips for me about how can I do exactly the viewshed geoprocessing but in FME ? thanks !

Dear Sir / Madam, I have an indoor data set. As shown in the figure below.  Red line represents network path.Blue circle is the POI (Point). Black dot is just the vertex. As I have an indoor data for the entire building. I would like to find network that is unnecessary (not linked with any POI), as shown as Yellow Circle. I am just wondering what transformers I can use to find these path?I cannot just simply break the lines as some vertex are necessary for turning. I would really need some hand. Thank you very much!

Basically, I want to match meter IDs from two different datasets: shapefile and excel file. Meter IDs in both datasets might have typos such as dashes, dots, letters, slashes, which I need to remove first. Then I want to match MTR_NO from Excel against Mother_1 , Child_3, & Child_4. My idea is to export an excel table that will include only matching meter IDs.

Hello , i am using Esri feature service reader to read map service but it does not work with me .when I click on layer to show them ,it is written that token error ,499 error i have admin user and keyword but it does not work to access .could someone advice me ,how could I read map service from ArcGis server ?

I have a shapefile with numerous columns that I need to calculate a mean for on a row by row basis. Within the data there are a lot of values equal to 0 that are skewing the mean - how can I set up a calculation in the ExpressionEvaluator to remove the 0's from my calculation?

I have set the timeout to 1800 seconds but i fails after about 10 minutes. I have asked the guy who administers the webservice and he says that on the API side it seems to go well and it sends the response after about 12 minutes. I have attached the log file of me trying to run the httpcaller. Edit: I can see that i some months ago made a similar thread, so if you (administrators) prefer I can delete this and respond in the old one.  In short I was asked in that thread wether I was sure that there should be a response, and I am sure of that. Hello FME Community,Although I was very happy to have successfully used HTTPCaller for the first time by writing the data to a CSV file, I seem to be stuck in using HTTPCaller to read the data from the "_response_body" to continue the processing. I can see the data loaded in the "_response_body" but I couldn't manage to pull it out to continue the processing (tried FeatureReader, TempPathnameCreator, AttributeFileWriter). I always fail to pull the data. Can anyone help me out with an example of usage? I read the documentation, forum posts and other internet posts but I still fail to use it as exemplified below. Basically, I would like to replace the CSVReader (below) with the HTTPCaller data, as to load the data automatically and not have to download manually the CSV file every time.Below, the successful usage of HTTPCaller, but with a resulting file.Many thanks for your time,Robert  

The List Date in the bottom photo contains a field called ListDate which is stored in a SQL database. We're using their WFS to download the data however due to the validation in Pro we can't see any date fields so we're using FME. I'm trying to use the transformer 'date time converter' but I get the prompts asking which fields I want & as you can see the software is splitting out 1 field into several which are all 'missing'. Which list elements should I select? Also in the select list elements box what number should be entered there? I just need the date so can strip out the time element. 

Is there a similair function as DateTimeNow() which takes only the current date and not the time part? I know I can make use of Timestamper but I'm curious if there are other even more simple ways of naming by date in the writer using Date functions.

I'm an FME newbi. Feel like it's something very basic but couldn't come up with a solution on my own.What I want to achieve is to get 80% of the value from column B to column A, but some of the features have multiple values separated by a comma, soo they come out as NULL. I went through previously asked questions but couldn't find anything. Appreciate any help!

Hi everyone!In order to reduce increases, we want to move the FME Server in the cloud, currently on the AWS platform, to the Digital Ocean platform.The best options are installation on top of Linux.I know FME will work great with Linux, our problem is that we work continuously with ESRI systems (sde,gdb), and I know it requires an ArcPro or Enterprise license, at least on Windows.Is the situation similar in Linux?I ask, because ArcGis Pro does not have a Linux deployment option.Would appreciate help!Thanks!

We have processes in place for ArcGIS Enterprise patching but none for FME Server.  Occasionally there is a hotfix that is released that is security related. Or last month there was an update from our vendor on their website related to CVEs and upgrading. Is there a central place that we can get this information from? Preferably without having to do a manual check on a website page etc.  I have signed up our support email to the Stay Informed email list on safe.com/downloads. Would this email list suffice or are there any other feeds that we could check in relation to security patches?

Hello , i have to write my output from ArcGis sde to excel file .but I have empty fields at many columns. i would like to have only fields that have only values .so how could I remove empty fields ,?i have read many topics about that but it does not work with me .could someone provide me with template workspace to remove the empty fields .Thanks in advance FME 2021
