Hello i am reading many tables from oracle non spatial tables name Table_ATable_B Table_Ci have around 30 table and I would like to get the Output from all tables when Id= 45 i am not sure ,how to write the condition in where clause to test it in all tables and In case it did not find the id in any table so I will not get any output from this table .But in case also ,no id as attribute name in any table so I get nothing better than error ,if it is possible .Fme 2021

I'm creating a cruciform for biodiversity monitoring and I'm having trouble setting the distances from the centre. I need to do this for 50+ areas so it would be good to get some batch processing going.The inner nodes start at 5m from the centre. From then onwards, they are set at 10m intervals. Each arm of the cruciform is 45m long. So there are five nodes on each arm resulting in a 90m total length on the x & y axis.Node labels are as follows: 5m, 15m, 25m, 35m, 45m.The problem is, the southern, eastern and western arms are showing the distances backwards i.e. 45m label starts at the inner node and the 5m label is at the outer node.The workbench works as follows:Calculate centre point of areaCreate vertices around centre point so LineBuilder can create 4 x arms of cruciform( N,S,E,W)Create points on lines using DistanceMarkerLabel points based on Counter The northern arm always seems to come out correct so it must be something to do with line/point orientation. Hello, See picture below for example, I wish to remove the green vertex while ensuring that the end point vertexes remain.  I need to remove these as they are treated as being stacked, which is causing major issues with my ESRI Utility Network Model.  These points are within < 0.001m of each other. I have tried using a generalizer, which is not appropriate for this situation, as the lines become much too generalised. I wish to only remove these vertexes that are treated as being stacked upon each other.  I have also tried using the geometryValidator -> issue to detect: remove consecutive points without success.  What other ways can I remove these points? I have thought about creating a custom set of transformers that could do the job, i.e. Find all vertexes -> identify any vertexes that are connected to other Line st/end points or any devices (as I want to keep these) -> find vertexes that are within 0.001m of each other -> single match these -> output. There are other articles about Microsoft Graph Teams but the configuration is different.In our configuration, we keep the default setting and I notice the grant_type=client_credentials. 1. Do we need to ask our Cloud team to grant us a refresh token & grant_type = refresh_token?2. Also, do we need to ask them to add the fmeoauth URL to the Redirect URI in the MS Graph App like how we normally do with other Oauth2 App?If these need to be added, should they be mentioned in the hub?Many thanks!

Hi, We have been trying to set up a process where our users can email their files to a shared mailbox and FME can extract the attachment &  process the attachment  from emails in our FME server fault tolerant deployment without success as neither STMP nor IMAP option is possible. Our IT  tech lead wanted to check if we can use EWS with FME server. I have read an old thread that this can be done through XML & httpCaller but I couldn’t find any further details of how to set this up. I also saw there is the Microsoft Graph API option and wonder if it’s recommended. Our IT Tech lead prefers EWS as we have another application that was already using EWS. Would be much appreciated if you could point me to the right direction.Many thanks!

Hello FME'rs,  What I'd like to do is intersect two line feature classes to produce an intersection POINT output feature class.    This is a relatively simple task to perform in the Arc geoprocessor (overlay->intersect).  However, my first few attempts with FME (using lineonline overlay) doesn't quite yield the results I want as it appears the give me the intersection points as well as ALL the start/end points of the intersecting line segments.  Can someone kindly point me in the right direction?  Thank you :) JP

Hi, at the FME UC last year there was discussion about a the potential to create a Custom Transformer and in the process consume a swagger/OpenAPI definition. I've been looking at the FME Transformer Designer in the FME 2023 beta and so far I can't see anything which would indicate that this is doable.  Am I missing something? anyone else know anything more about this?

Hello,is it possible to write an Excel file to a SharePoint site? I don't believe I wish to create a SharePoint list or a lookup but simply overwrite an existing file in a folder sat in SharePoint.I can read a file from SharePoint in just fine using a Reader and just need the equivalent to 'write' I have tried the SharePointOnlineConnector but it's not outputting a file like I would expect.Thanks.

I have an excel file with lat/long coordinates and I'm trying to create points based on them in a file geodatabase. The geometry is being created but I keep getting an error when trying to view the attribute table: "A column was specified that does not exist." I've checked that all the columns are green in the file gdb writer.​If I replace the file geodatabase writer with a shapefile writer everything works fine. Can anybody tell me how to figure out what is going on? Using FME Workbench (Form now?) 2020.1 Thanks, Mike

Hello. I have a question about one solution. I have duplicate points with the same name, but with at least different geometry. I need to filter these duplicate points relative to this one coordinate. How to connect fme server to the network drive?

Hi list.I've just upgraded our FME Server from 2020.2.5 to 2022.2.2.I'm still using the 2020 workspaces, and I've noticed a changed behaviour.I did some test with Automation a while back, and thus have some remnant automation output features in some workspaces. In 2020 these worked well, yielding no erros or warnings, but in 2022 a runtime error like this is logged:AUTOMATIONS_2: Server connection error.  Unable to send Event to automation route 'Trin2a': { ..... }Why does this throw an error ?Luckily it doesn't matter in this workspace, but I have used Automation extensively elsewhere (nightly data-imports), so I am concerned about whether my other workspaces, that have active automation logic, will work?Is the error above just a disclaimer that it didn't run in a started automation, and so doesn't have anything connected to my "Trin2a" automation feature output, and warns about it in version 2022 (but not in 2020) ?Any insights about this is welcome.Oh well, I guess I'll see what hap

Hey there. Im trying to use the good'ol Creator->HTTPCaller->JSon'er method for the data here:https://www.fega.gob.es/atom/es.fega.sigpac.xml Where I am basically sending requests to fetch certain part of the data and then do some analysing on it before exporting to a format. But there is a problem here which is that the service requests you to accept to terms and conditions before you can start fetching.  Doing this through browser ain't a problem as you just click on the "LEER Y ACEPTAR LAS CONDICIONES" button and read through the document that pops-up and then press "ACEPTAR LLAS CONCIONES" which brings you to the data. It is using the HTTPCaller where i have the problem, cause just fetching the data (through the same URL) gives me the _response_body:<html><body>No has aceptado las condiciones y no puedes ver los ficheros</body></html> or basically "You have not accepted the conditions" Does anyone have suggestions how to include accepting the terms and

Hi all!I want to request the monthly average exchange rate for a whole year. So far, I have transformed the soap request to xml and pasted it into the xml templater. I then post the request by the HTTPCaller and extract attributes by means of the XMLFragmenter. This works fine as long as I request the monthly average exchange rate of one month of a specified year at the time.However, here is were I am stuck: To get all monthly average exchange rate I would need to post 12 request, one for each month. My idea was to do this by means of sub templates, but I have not succeeded in doing so. I tried to import a file containing a list from 1 to 12 (1= january...12=december) and connect this list to the sub port. I could add 12 xml templater and httpcaller instead, but this does not seem very effective. Is it possible to achieve this by sub template?Or is there a way to dublicate requests or is it in some way possible to loop through the request?Any ideas and help are welcome!Thanks in adva

Hi,I am trying to practice "Generate workspace" module but I don't have "FME Training PostGIS database" connection available. I tried to add database connection, but I don't understand what URL to enter in the "Host" parameter.?

When using the schema mapper and connecting to a postgres table and choosing embedded connections there are no options to choose a parameter that holds the relevant value. For host, port, database and username, I'm able to type e.g. $(STAGING_DB) and create the link to my user parameter that way. However this doesn't work for the password field.Is there any trick to link the password parameter?  (FME 2021.2.0.0 Build 21784)

In my colleague'script there is an ArcGISOnlineConnector and my colleague made a parameter of the password for the ArcGIS Online connection.At FME Server, we first filled in the parameter for the workspace and made a testrun. The script ran and it works. However when I make a shedule of this script, fill in the parameters, after triggering once, then for some reason the value of the password gets the following string (see image below). I am not sure why that happens. Then I change the value to the correct pasword, however after triggering the schedule, the password changes itself again into that long password, while this long password is not defined in the script itself. Since the password is not correct, the script will fail since no connection can be made with ArcGIS Online. Does anyone might know why this happens and what I can do to get the original password all the time instead that it changes itself after running once succesfully.

In SoapUI the return works fine. I am translating a group of point objects at different rotations from Smallworld to Microstation V8i. The same object in Smallworld and using the same FME translator. The resulting DGN has different size cells to represent the same object. The point objects that are at 0, 90, 180 or 270 are the correct size when translated but other angles translate larger. I am open to any ideas on why this is happening and what can be done about it. Thanks

I have a Survey123 form, that needs to be exported to a specific excel template file. The Survey123 form has 1 layer (parent record), and two related tables associated with that single record. The final format for the excel template would need to be 1 file per record, with two sheets (from the two related tables). Prior to exporting out to the template files, I would need to filter the data down by a site name For instance, a site (that I have filtered down to) may have 4 records taken on it, so I would need to create 4 separate excel files, based on a Plot ID field. Each on of these excel files would then have 2 sheets based on the related tables of the record. Open to suggestions and comments. Thank you!

I am working with conductor line segments and need to establish a parent child relationship between these lines. For example I would like to assign conductor "2" a parent value of "1" and a child value of "3". Has anyone accomplished this task or have an idea of how to go about this?
