I tried to convert an IFC to CESIUM 3D Tiles in FME 2022.The IFC has a coordinate  and a projection  .After tramsformation , When i upload in cesium the coordonate still set to (0,0).I tried it this other IFC file and i have the same issue.Can ANYONE HELP ME?Suggest me a solution ?suggest me a set workspace to solve it ?

Hi, I have some field (ID), but the values sometimes have one, two, three...digits. There is one attribute with number of the digits that previous may have. For example the value (ID) is 10 and the number of digits may have 5, so the value is 00010. If the value (ID) is 1555, the value become 01555. How to put 0 in the left to complete the digits of fields? How do that? Thank´s

I have a CAD file that I want to convert to CityGML LOD2 with Xlink using a provided template. To automatically generate unique surface IDs using SurfID_@UUID(), I need to first deagregate the CAD file into individual surfaces. If I don't do this, I get errors about non-unique IDs. However, separating the surfaces in this way causes the roof, walls, and ground surfaces of the building to be split into multiple surfaces and IDs. I would prefer to have each incoming surface represented by a single GML ID, but I've tried several options and haven't been successful. I'm not sure if I'm missing something or if there's another approach I could try. Could anyone please be so kind take a look to the tample and smaple CAD file.

Hi all, I have a current workspace that calculates a single least cost route using the ShortestPathFinder to minimise an attribute on a network. I came across this article on ArcGIS online (https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-pro/analytics/create-a-wildlife-corridor-with-the-new-least-cost-corridor-tool-in-arcgis-pro/), and i feel it would be a great addition to my workspace. I want to run multiple workbenches in a sequential order based on the success and failure of previous workbenches. I only have access to FME Desktop (No server) so I used 'WorkspaceRunner'. I created 3 workbenches (all three with basic tasks to open an excel workbook and Add/Subtract/Multiply values in column A with values in column B then add the results into a new sheet of the same workbook). Only issue is the flow runs through until the end and gives me 'Translation was SUCCESSFUL' even though one of the them fails to run, I tried using 'Tester' with different values but nothing useful. Hi, How can I check if two equal or similar geometries are displacement in some way when they overlap? I don't want to validate when they are not related in any way, but only if they are with some kind of displacement. Thanks

I have an DWG file which I convert into an FGDB file by using an FGDB writer with a Dynamic Schema Definition:The DWG file contains different types of geometries on single layers, e.g. polygons, lines, and points. In combination with the dynamic feature writing to FGDB, this results in that after the run, I have more layers/feature classes in my FGDB than in the original DWG file. For example, if I had a layer "XYZ" in the DWG file which contained polygons, lines, and points, in the resulting FGDB file, there are the feature classes "XYZ_polygons", "XYZ_lines", and "XYZ_points". So far so good, this is expected and totally fine. My problem is the following: How can I preserve the stylings of the features? I am trying to come up with a way to use FME Desktop to process files that will be automatically exported from a system and will likely be named with a timestamp (eg filename20230512132945.xlsx). The goal is to create an automated process to handle these files as the appear. I already run FME Desktop from the command line (via windows Task Scheduler), but I am wondering if there is a way to do it and also specify the name of the file I want to have read as a parameter? Something like C:\\fme.exe workbench.fmw inputFile.xlsx I don't think I am going to be able to count on these files having the same name every time, otherwise I could just run the workbench (c:\\fme.exe workbench.fmw) I'd be grateful for any suggestions. I would happily try to do this with FME Server but it is not currently available to me. Thanks, Mike

I am trying to add an extra label for each point of the point cloud based on whether or not they were located inside or outside the gml building model.  When I clipped a model with my point cloud data with "Clipper", it only identified that point cloud was outside and that point cloud data was identified as 1 feature own on its.  How do I label/mark each point in the point cloud whether they clipped with the model or not and then save it as an extra information/variable in a new las file.

This may be a little simple but it seems not to work for me, I have a workspace that reads a .csv file and runs a process. Ideally i would like to move this csv file once the process is complete and rename it by date. What i have tried so far,After the reader i created a junction and I put one process to run through the whole workspace and another arrow i put to a DateTime stamper, DateTimeConverter and created the attributes filecopy_source_dataset, filecopy_dest_dataset and filecopy_dest_filename, (based on several tutorials i have been reading.) I then use the filecopy writer to move the file. The file gets moved but the name is not changed and i get a warning that --> Ignoring the destination filename .. because the source dataset...was not a file. Destination file names are only used when the source dataset is a file. For some reason the exact name i did set (@Value(Datum)_@Value(filecopy_dest_filename)) is shown in the written summary but not on the folder, anyone with an ide

When converting IFC to OBJ using FME, how does the information in IFC change to OBJ's attributes?

Hello!The FME im using: FME Workbench 2022.2.5 Im a student and using our floating license at school. No matter how big/small the script is, it will just freeze at random.If i place a simple node or hit export, the program just locks up and i have to either wait forever or just exit the program.  My computer is quite powerful so that shouldnt be the issue... Is there anyway for me to share more information that could help solve this issue?    

I have street centerlines (Line Feature Class) with intersection points (Point Feature Class) the end of each line. ​I am using the PointOnLineOverlayer and only the attributes of one of the end points is included in the output. ​Using the picture here as an example, I want the Line output from the PointOnLineOverlayer Transformer to include the attributes something like this:A St will include attributes of Pt 1 and Pt 3; B St will include the attributes of Pt 3 and Pt 2;C St will include the attributes of Pt 3 and Pt 4;Currently, here is my Line output:A St includes attributes of Pt 3;B St includes attributes of Pt 2;C St includes attributes of Pt 3. Any ideas on how to ensure each Line includes the attributes of the points at each end of the line instead of only a point at one end of the line?

I have CSV file in the character format with a value as shown here. I would like to change it into Date format so I will be able to date calculation later. I tried to use Dateformater. it did not work. is there any other transformer that I can leverage to accomplish this?
