How to search file geodatabase for feature classes containing attributes with names that meet a regular expression?

I need to scan an existing but unpopulated (i.e. no data) file geodatabase (GDB) and determine which feature classes have attributes whose names match a given regular expression. I then need essentially to extract the pairs of feature_class_name/matching_attribute_name and in some way to use those pairs subsequently in the translation. So:What transformer would I use to scan an unpopulated GDB for attribute names matching a regex?How best to configure and to capture information from that transformer to use subsequently in translation?[Related to the beginnings of a solution idea in my head ...] If I use, say, a FeatureReader to extract schema features from an unpopulated GDB with Ignore Relationship Info unchecked, will the schema features carry format attributes (similar to geodb_feature_has_relationships on data features) indicating feature classes and attributes that participate in relationships? Thanks, all, for your ideas on this.

Replace raster cell values by table

Hi, I have a raster in GRAY8 that have cells ranging from 0 to 255. Additionaly I have a translation table with values as such: T pixelvalue≤ -22 0-21,92 1-21,84 2-21,76 3-21,69 4-21,61 5-21,53 6-21,45 7-21,37 8etc...I would like to replace every pixel value with its corresponding value in the T column. I have tried to do the following:1) Trim the "-" sign2) Round the attribute in the T column to remove the decimal values. My thought after that was to use the attributecreator with:if(A[0]=@Value(pixelvalue),@Value(T),And then the aggregator and merge them with concatenation. Then finish it of with brackets to something like this with nested if statements:if(A[0]==0,22,if(A[0]==1,22,if(A[0]==3,22,...And feed it into the RasterExpressionEvaluator. This workflow does not seem to work since I can't get the RasterExpressionEvaluator to accept my nested if statements and write many different colors. Any suggestions on how to achieve what I am after? Color my raster based on the matching valu

Copy files from folder to another in BIM360/Autodesk Construction Cloud with Default Attributes

I want to copy files from one folder to another in BIM360/ACC with AutodeskBIM360DocsConnector, and in BIM360/ACC there is a Default Attribute column for Description. And when I copy them in FME the Description does not come with. In AutodeskBIM360DocsConnector there is no option in Attributes to Add called Description. Any suggestions for how I can get the Description in the copy process? 🙂

Im trying to change the crs of a shapefile. Single Workbench trying to either INSERT or UPDATE ArcGIS Online Table

EDIT:I have created a text parameter with value contractor_log and used that as the layer name in both, this seems to have fixed the problem (not fully tested yet). This seems to be more of a hack than a proper solution. Is there a 'more correct' way I should be doing this? Hey, I have a workbench that manipulates some input data, then it checks an arcgis online table (contractor_log) to see if this particular mobile number exists in the AGOL table. I need the AGOL table to be UPDATED if the mobile number exists in the table, but if it is new (non existent in the AGOL table) I need FME to INSERT a row into this AGOL table, which is a dozen field to insert. I have inserted the AGOL WRITER into my workspace, setup my UPDATE writer which works perfectly, I now wish to duplicate this writer to setup my INSERT, but when I create a copy of this it must contain a unique layer (table) name, which is not ideal, as I want both writers connecting to the same AGOL Layer/table. I'm processing a point feature class (21 million approx points) I'm fanning them out into shapefiles, smaller than the 2G limit. It produces shapefiles, missing the .prj file. Any thoughts on why ?

How to ensure parameter input is valid mobile number?

Hi, I have a parameter in my workbench that I want to lock down to expect a 10 digit phone number. Here in Australia they all start with 04, so I am hoping to make my parameter restricted to between 0400000000 and 0499999999. It doesn't work if I use integer, because it drops the leading zero. Does anyone have any tips on how I can achieve this? Ultimately this will be published to server and be a web form input field. I am hoping the user cannot press submit until the mobile number is in the range I mention above. Cheers

How to convert lines to points

Hallo , i have lines data and I have only start point and end point of line .but I would like to get all geometry of points from start till end point.,so I have used chopper to convert lines to points but my problem .I am not sure ,how could i add all geometry of points from start till end point in new attribute for the same id of line .FME 2021Thanks for help .

Hi I am trying to connect to a public S3 bucket and have tried multiple times to connect and download files in the bucket. I just keep getting an error message. I'm probably entering something wrong but I've tried multiple different things and no luck so hoping for some guidance here. S3Connector: There was an error connecting to Amazon S3: 'Parameter validation failed:Invalid bucket name "shaking-layers/": Bucket name must match the regex "^[a-zA-Z0-9.\\-_]{1,255}$" or be an ARN matching the regex "^arn:(aws).*:s3:[a-z\\-0-9]+:[0-9]{12}:accesspoint[/:][a-zA-Z0-9\\-]{1,63}$|^arn:(aws).*:s3-outpo...'. Confirm that your credentials and region settings are correct. Some regions are not publicly available - contact AWS for more information. Problem to extract coordinate of start and end point of line

I have lines , I have used coordinator extractor with index 0 , coordinate extractor with index 1 so I got start point and end point for each line .but I have still few lines ,although I see them in inspector as lines but the coordinates that I extracted for each line of them by coordinate extractor transformer ,has same coordinate for start and the same coordinate for end of line as attributes what is the reason of that ?how could I get coordinate of start Point and end point for theses few lines but it should has different geometry in start rather than end FME 2021Thanks for help

Year wise topology on the parcel data

Hi, I have a parcel data with various years in the postgis database and I need to executed topology year wise to find out the topology errors across the years. I have query to filter out the data in year wise and the query is (column1 < Year and column2 >= Year). My first question is how to retrieve the various years in DB for that particular area and my second question is how to pass the years to fetch the data pertain to that particular year and pass it on to the dissolver transformer, kindly let me know.

Create all lines between points A and points B if the distance between them is < 500 meter.

I have two sets of points, A and B. I would like to create lines between them, only if the distance of this line is < 500 meter. Currently I achieve this using a 1-on-1 join in the FeatureMerger. For each point in A there is a list element with the coordinates stored for point B. So if I have 300 points of A and 200 of B, I would have a list with 300 features, with each feature having 200 elements. I then explode the list, and then for each point of B, create the feature, and then check if the distance is <500 meter. This is unfortunately very bad performance-wise, since there are a lot of unneeded connections (> 500m) being made. When running the workspace with big sets of points in A and B this can really effect efficiency. Is there a way in which I can check the distance between two points before I create the feature?

I'm looking to make a query which uses the spatial data in the planning brief to search cadastre, duct, duct_route and SL layers. So that I can change each planning layer can become searchable and have an output. We are currently working with MapInfo

Wrong FME version opens when running FME from command line

Hi, I'm trying to run an FME process from the command line like I have many times before (fme example.fmw) However, it is opening the wrong version for the workspace. The workspace is in 2022 but the command line is opening 2018 (which is also installed on my computer). Is there a flag or something I could add to my code to ensure it opens 2022? My workspace has newer transformers than 2018 so it crashes everytime I open it I have tried adding it to the system path variable, but this doesn't do anything, unless I'm doing it wrong Thanks

GEODATABASE_SDE Writer Specify a backslash in table qualifier

I have a sql server table that I do not own but have full permission on.I can setup a GEODATABASE_SDE Reader and read it no problem the table qualifier is "abc\\username" When I try to setup a writer for it the Table Qualifier gets set to _abc_username_ When I try to write to it I get an error message statingGeodatabase Writer: Feature Class or Table '_abc_username_.table_nm' must exist when Table Handling is set to 'Use Existing' Unfortunately using FME2018.

Expose elements doesn't work in FME 2020 ?

Seems like exposing elements in AttributeSplitter doesn't work in FME 2020.0.1 (build 20218). Even exposing attributes after splitter with AttributeExposer is broken.Or maybe it's Data Inspector's fault for not displaying them. Any thoughts on this?
