I want to read csv files with different schemas but with some attributs which are part of all csv files:file1in: attribute1, attribute2, attributeA, attributeB, attributeCfile2in: attributeD, attributeE, attribute1, attribute 2, attributeF, attributeGThen I want to do some processing and write the files with some additional attributes to new files:file1out: attribute1, attribute2, attributeA, attributeB, attributeC, attributeX, attributeYfile2out: attributeD, attributeE, attribute1, attribute 2, attributeF, attributeG, attributeX, attributeYFile names for output are the filenames of input with additonal postfix like "_transformed":<filename1in> => <filename1in>+"_transformed" (<filename1out>How can I do this? I have tried using the old SDE connection file and created new SDE connections. Both fail when using the FME reader Esri Geodatabase (ArcSDE Geodb). Hey all,Just wondering if anyone has figured out how to write a brand new google sheet to a folder?I have the following file and folder directory structure:My Drive/My Drive/Statistics/My Drive/Statistics/2017 <---googlesheetI want fme to create the google sheet, '2018' in the "My Drive/Statistics/" folder automatically (without user intervention), but no matter if I include the string "My Drive/Statistics/" or the folder ID & "/" , it always writes the new sheet to the root of My Drive. If the Google Sheet already exists, this is not a problem.

Is FME already capable of working with a Service Desk / Ticketing type application?  Right now I am researching applications that I could use to manage emails & tickets (tasks). An idea (or hope) I have is for a user to email a zip file to a ticketing system, and then FME Server could be triggered to work along side the ticketing application to do some work with the zip file. I have a FeatureReader for WFS. Because I want it to work with any WFS source I have parameterised the Dataset and "Feature types to read" fields and set the output to Single Output port.This means that I have to use the Generic output port.Further down the workspace I have some transformers that do logging. I have a ListBuilder followed by a ListElementCounter, so I can log the number of records returned by the WFS service. I also have an UpdateDetector with the same arrangement.Before I started using the generic output port, everything was OK. But since I have used the Generic port, some ListElementCounters are showing problems. (The one connected to the WFS reader and also the one connected to the Unchanged port of the UpdateDetector. Others are OK.) The ListAttribute fields are showing up as red and they don't seem to be able to read the _list{} attribute that should be supplied by the ListBuilder.If I run the workspace, it seems to still work, but of course I get a w

I have a lot of scripts that all write to point feature classes in a 10.4.1 SDE Database in SQL Server 2012.  The source comes from one of 3 databases types, SQL 2012, SQL 2014, or Oracle 11G.  They all are the same as far as errors go so either it's my SDE or FME itself.I even inspected everything I could and on a few I did get error while running and cleared up those small data issues, but they all produce the same error codes on crash dialog box I show at the bottom of this post when I close the Inspector app.I have tried to redo from scratch a few of my scripts but they ALL are crashing like I show below.  I am using the latest version 2017.7.27.17725, I had 2017.7.27.17539 and it did the same exact thing and I thought upgrading would do the trick, but no....  I have redone all my readers and writers, fished through all my data and data types, redone queries, redone my writer feature classes in my SDE, and even filtered the coordinates to fit in the state because we are using UTMs

I am utilizing custom code to add a second geojson layer to the map. is there a way to take an imported file (ex: ESRISHAPE) and convert it to geojson inline (maybe as an attribute?), and then use that geojson output(text) as a parameter in my custom code.Edit:A good example of a perfect geoJSON output is how the HTMLReportGenerator converts both attributes and geometry to geojson.

Hello, I'm attempting to extract strings from a text file that comes after specific key words. I only need to extract the X,Y coordinates from the text but I need to preserve what values they correspond with. In my example these are well points and I will need to keep the location for each one. I have the following keywords:GEOLOGIC FIRST TAKE POINT:BOTTOM HOLE LOCATION:LAST TAKE POINT (TIV):I only need the X,Y coordinates that come after these key words, but I'm having trouble getting my regex expression to pull the X,Y data following each key word as there is text in between I don't need. I've attached a sample of my data below. I need to create a list (or repository) of all the unique words in multiple data sets attribute tables. I was able to create a list of all the unique attributes, but now I need to go one more level and break out those attributes into individual words.For example, let's say my unique list of attributes are:The Dog The Cat Bird Three DonkeysI need to take that list and create this list with it: The Dog Cat Bird Three DonkeysDoes anyone know how I might achieve that?Thanks.

I am trying to create a workflow that would update an existing table in a file geodatabase. It works when i have feature operation set to "Insert" and Table Handling set to "Create If needed" under Format Parameters. I have a raster in which I need to change the vertical datum. I tried using the CSMapReprojector but it didn't work. It looks like FME just always sees the Raster at 2D when I view it in the Data Inspector. Is this a bug?

Hi, I have a geometric topology with nodes and lines. Some lines have not the right end coordinate and are therefore not "connected" with it's node (shown on the left side). I'm looking for a solution to "snap" somehow the lines to the respective node depending on the line-attribute Node_Reference (shown on the right side). Is there a matching transformer available? For example: the red node has the attribute Name: ID_1. The blue lines has an attribute Node_Ref: ID_1. I would like to replace the end coordinate of the blue lines (nearest end of the line) by the coordinate of the matching node.

Hi,Has anyone looked into logging to a Gibraltar Loupe logging service ?My company is currently looking into creating a central logging facility for all our applications and services, and FME conversions are not exempt from this.It may be converting normally generated FME logs, or preferably, logging directly inside the workspace, e.g. by using a PythonCaller or a a custom transformer.Any insight on this issue is most welcome.Cheers Lars

Hi all,I'd like to know if there is a way to use conditional value mechanism with a group by parameter.Imagine following case:I have a published parameter with values 0 and 1. My features have the attributes A, B, C and D. When I select 0 for the published parameter I'd like to have A and B attributes as Group by attributes, and when 1 is given, C and D shall be set.I know that I could use a tester and route features accordingly to differently set transformers, but I'm using the Group by setting on various locations. To keep the workspace readable this approach would not be applicable.

Hey!I have a problem with my PostGIS database. Trying to get it much more efficient. It contains information from several counties, which means I read a lot of unnecessary information that I do not need and the computer is giving up. Something similar "Fastkart.ak = '2085' and all information within 2085 from Fastkart.by" is what I need to do. But can’t figure out how. I’ve tried many hours to write clause under feature type and also by using sqlexecutor. Figure 1 shows all tables in the database. Often when I am going to read information from my municipality, it must read all the municipalities' buildings eg which makes it very big amounts. Of course, you can drive a clipper directly after the base but would be better if I could get the data base to read no information other than it by 2085. Anyone know if it’s possible to write "Where clause" directly in the database when you do not have matching information I attribute table?(That would be the best op
