100% Stacked Bar Chart

Is it possible for FME to create a 100% Stacked Bar Chart, given the following scenario?I have 7 years of roadway data (2010-2016)Each year contains a count of miles classified as Good, Fair, and Poor. For example:2010, Good = 1217 miles, Fair = 302 miles, Poor = 77 miles, Total Miles = 1596For the same year, the percentages are Good = 76%, Fair = 19%, Poor = 5%Can someone please point me in the right direction for depicting this as a 100% stacked bar chart for years 2010-2016?Thanks!!

Many of our ArcSDE connections are OS Authentication and not username/password. How can I connect to the SDE instance with ArcSDEQuerier? It seems that the ESRI Geodatabase reader/writer uses a connection file but the Querier doesn't.

Create Buffer respecting Angle

Hi Team,I need to find the solution for my problem. My Workspace has two Source - Shapefiles: - Point - Batimetry The Shapefile Point has a Attribute that represent the angle value: ground = 256.2000122. Using the transformer AttributeCreator i have a +- 5 degrees tolerante on top the attribute ground:Result: graus_up: 261.2000122graus_down: 251.2000122I would like to create a buffer oriented the values: 251.20000 until 261.2000 from the point.After i need to Lines ( Source Batimetry ) in a within tis buffer. I didn't find a transformer that make this possible. Attached my template file. Thanks, - Danilo

Subtract list values from eachother based on index.

Hi, For some reason I have a problem wrapping my head around this and I know it might be easier to solve with a script. I have a list containing different numeric values and each value has an index. How would I go about to subtract one value with the next based on the index? For example; If index = 5 then subtract value5 from value4 If index = 4 then subtract value4 from value3 If index = 3 then subtract value3 from value2........ etc. There could be any number of values in a list so I need to somehow loop through all the values. Thanks!

Adding transformer to Workspace using single click in FME 2017.1

Hi,I have just upgraded to FME 2017.1 and want to be able to add transformers using a single left click - like I could using FME 2016 - however it looks like it is defaulting to double click. Is this a setting that can be changed?I try to minimize the amount of double clicks because of RSI.

Testing on a group of rows

Hi everyone! I'm new to FME (using 2016) and have a question that keeps bothering me.I have an excel sheet with inspection results from a different company, these are based on different parts of an object. Each row is a different part of the object, with a column with specific inspection results. If any of the parts of the object has a value in the inspection column, I need the entire object to be copied to an output sheet. If none of the parts of an object has a value, the entire object needs to go to a different output sheet.The input looks like this (simplified).And the result should look like this:The objects with any row that contains a value in InspectionResultThe objects with without a row that contains a value in InspectionResultIt seems so easy, it looks like testing on a group but I can't figure out a solution. I tried selecting (tester) only the rows with a value, make a list of unique value of objectnumbers (list builder) and merge them again to the original table (

DWG to DWG increases from 200Mb to 800Mb??

Hi everyone,I am very new to FME having recently downloaded a free trial, so please bear with me.I work on a civil engineering project and the majority of our design data (AutoCAD 2013 DWG) is on the OSGB36 grid (Ordnance Survey Great Britain).To transform it to our local site grid I applied a series of modifiers (scaler, rotater, offsetter) then set a writer to output as DWG.We tested it with the largest of our model files and found that the output file was around 800Mb in size whereas the input file was only 200Mb. Does anyone have any idea why this could be happening?I am an Engineering Surveyor so I am rather unfamiliar with AutoCAD beyond simple commands & geometry etc, so the settings in the reader / writer don't mean much to me either!Thanks in advance for any help or advice.John R

Hi All, I'm a novice. I have a MSSQL_ADO reader working on a non spatial table. My next challenge is to find the best way to iterate through a field in that table and use that value (which is a set of table names) to copy a Feature Class of the same name to another DB. I have done some reading and video watching on loops but haven't been able to implement anything that does feature by feature only the entire record set. If that's the best approach. I've no problem writing loops in Python\\.NET or cursors in SQL Server but I'm trying to avoid code. Regards, Richard

Guess format from dataset and add folder

Hello,I am a FME beginner and I really love that whole folders can be added to a writer. However, I do have folders which contain many files of the same format each and I would like to add a folder to a reader and let FME guess the format of the files in that folder. It seems that this is not possible but only one of the two (add folder OR guess format from dataset)?thanks and best regards,Ludwig

RegEx help needed (clean all except latlongs)

Hi all,I'm am looking for some Regex help to clean up my workflow. I have used StringConcatenator to bring together latitude / longitude fields and to separate these with ", " (comma white space)Unfortunately my data also contained empty fields and text resulting in:, 51.50757358840452, 4.358557125886925aan, Alphen, Winterswijk The only data I want to keep are the valid latlongs in bold. Python Scripted Parameter in Aggregator transformer not working

In my Aggregator transformer that I use to prepare and build a SQL query to next feed into SQLExecuter query, I want first to check if the primary key values are of type string in order to pad single quote for each value.. (example: value1, value2, value3, ..for numeric primary keys'value1','value2','value3', ..for string primary keys)So I chose to create a Scripted (Python) private parameter to check whether the primary key values of type string, then return a single quote as below: snglq= ","# Check if the primary key is string?if type(FME_MacroValues['SDE_PK']) == str: #then add a single quote snglq= "','"else: # no single quote snglq= ","return snglqAnd then assign value returned to the Separator Character box in Aggregator transformer, as shown below:But that's not working properly, always result in values with padded single quote, yet the primary key values are of type numeric!!What would be wrong here, please help

AttributeCreator and long list of attributes to expose

I use AttributeCreator to prepare a list of columns (A, B, C, D, etc..) for an Excel writer. My problem is that the list is 4000 items long. I have to manually expose every one of the column labels, which is not feasible. I have looked up and down and did not find a solution. Is there a way with PythonCaller to label a feature as exposed?
