I have a list attribute that I'd like to use in a JSONTemplator. I am able to get the list into an array no issues, however, I want the result to be an array of integers/numbers rather than a string. If it was not a list I can use the xs:integer to try to force it to be an integer, however, I'm not quite sure how I should do this for values in a list. Any ideas on this?

While converting a DWG file into shapefile, using FME's workspace transformations, all the metadata of the DWG is lost. Inside the DWG , for each feature, there are a lot of metadata for example –LayerHandleColorTextEtc. It is expected that this information will be persevered and will be available inside the SHP file as attributes. Right now, as default, the attribute table of the SHP file is empty. It's a "stopshow" for us...Help will be greatly appreciated, Michael

I have a Excel with 290 Rows and i want to Split that Excel at row 42 into different Pages. Result would be 42 Rows at Page 1. Next 42 Rows Page 2 and so on.I thought i could do it with a loop like count till 42 and then count again and filter by <= 42 but its not working.

After creating an FME Server Resource Connection, how can I work with this to author my workspaces? When I view the Folder properties in FME Server I can see the System path references an FME Server macro $(), however when I specify this path within my workspace it shows red because FME Desktop does not recognise this as an existing parameter.

Hello there, Im using the Shortest path finder transformer to analyse best routes from A 's to B's where the network is a road system. There is however a bit of flexibility in my project where the route could sometimes go "offroad" to skip going long detours. So i used my MS Paint superskills to explain what I mean.  Lets say that the black lines in the road system (network) and the yellow line represent the best result from ShortestPathFinder for getting from A to B. But it needs to take that tedious detour to west and then east again and i would want to allow it to take the green dotted detour instead (marked X), even if there is no road present there.  Pretty sure that the ShortestPathFinder does not have that option so I was wondering if anyone here has a suggestion how to solve this? And then in a way that you can set a snapping tolerance requirement for shortcuts (for example has to be max 10m a part for it to be allowed) or it wont happen. And in a way you ca

Hi All,  I'm looking for some ideas on how to get the z value from a point cloud onto a point in porformant way. As far as I can tell there is no easy way to do it. Am i missing something? Options I can see available:  Convert to Raster with RasterDEMGenerator and use PointOnRasterValueExtractor - pretty cpu and memory intensive Convert to points and use NeighborFinder - pretty cpu and memory intensive Has anyone got this process figured out?

If I use an HTTP caller with a GET method, I get the same page source. However I'm interested in the text you see in the loaded page. There are lots of sites out there built this way nowadays, which work in a very similar, dynamic way.Is there a solution to get data from this kind of page? The only plausible (and costly) way would be to use some service such as parsehub.com (which I have not used or tested) where you could use their REST API to get data into FME: https://www.parsehub.com/docs/ref/a

Hello FME-Experts!I have no experience with reading of html code, but I have problems reading data from a simple html file.If I use the HTML Table reader I get only the first record (witch contain the attribute name of the data) and not the 4 records that I need.I think, the workflow has to be simple but I tried several options without results.I attach an html example file.Thank you very much for the help!

The documentation for Mapbox MBTiles MVT writer says the tiles are generated in WebMercator (EPSG:3857). Does this mean that you have to reproject first or the writer does this for you?

My httpcaller results in a response body that is made up like a csv: lat,long,timea,b,ca,b,ca,b,c I want the response body to be in seperate columns (lat, long etc..). I tried attributesplitter (both with , and carriage return as delimter)> listexploder > atributrenamer (attr_@Value(_element_index)). But I can not get it to work (it just makes a new column attr_@Value(_element_index)).

Is there anyway to read information using an FMW reader about a workspace that has been uploaded to FME Server without downloading first? I can automatically download to a temp location via the API if needed just wanted to check I wasn't missing an alternative

Hi community, I could use some help.I'm reading an xml, doing some geometric and attribute manipulation before writing out to OGCgeopackage format. I'm having trouble with the writer truncating the attribute values. My understanding is that by default, FME takes the character width from the reader however this seems to be too short for my final values so I've switched over the attribute definition from automatic to manual in the writer and increased the width. It seems to be ignoring this and coming up with a lot of warnings. Anyone know how to fix? Images attached.

Hello everyone, A customer of mine has created a lot of XSLT stylesheets which we want to apply to our XML documents. We would like to use FME for the automation part (download XML, apply stylesheet, write result and push to server). However I seem to receive an error when applying XSLT stylesheets of version 2.0. Version 1.0 stylesheets work as expected but the workflow throws an error as soon as it encounters a function that is only present in XSLT 2.0 (like lower-case or upper-case).The stylesheets that I used to test the workflow both work as expected outside of the FME workflow. Is XSLT 2.0 currently not supported? Or am I missing something?I am using FME 2020.0 - Build 20238 - WIN64.

I am looking to merge into a list selected attributes from nearby points and output a single feature for each group of nearby points. PointOnPointOverlayer perfectly finds the nearby points and generates the list I want, but outputs all the input features with a list of all the other features. Thus for say 4 nearby features it will output 4 features each with a list which identifies the other 3 features in the group, but without anything like a group ID with which you could select just the first in each group with a DuplicateFilter.This is almost exactly the example given in the PointOnPointOverlayer manual page which creates lists of crimes at common locations... but doesn't explain how to not have multiple copies of the same list at the same location. Am I missing something obvious? It seems that PointOnPointOverlayer has done all the hard work!The closest I could get to generating a group ID is to give all my input points a unique ID field, then set "Merge attributes"

Hey there, I have a few workspaces that make use of the Esri File Geodatabases readers and writers. Processing a huge amount of data comes with some issues. In the past i had noticed a huge slowdown of my performance once i hit the last few transformers in the line. Last week i noticed the log line that comes up during the negative performance switch.  The line states: Optimizing Memory Usage (something something)Ram usage stabilizes from ~2,7 GB down to about 2,4GB and does not rise anymore. I have more than 10GB of available space left but it will not use more, probably because its the 32bit version. After that point, i will only be able to process around 5-10 objects a second! This is extremely slow if compared to before that point, which was around the thousands a second or even more. I am looking for a solution to this issue and came up with the following idea:If i export the data from the file geodatabase in FME 32bit to something supported by FME 64bit, do the processing on that
