The posts created in the new community is sorted latest-first, which makes sense (and is consistent with the old community) because latest are typically more relevant.But when I click on "View more" to see the old (and migrated) posts, they come in a random order.Would it be possible to set the sorting timestamp on these to be equal to the original posting date (or last comment/answer, if that's more correct) ?CheersLars

If I am using the HTTPCaller to send large amounts of data to server, it adds a Expect: 100-continue in the header of the request. Our server doesn't know how to respond to that and is causing problems. Is there any way to configure the HTTPCaller to not add that header?

Hi All - I am attempting to take a geo polygon and shrink, rotate, and offset the polygon to the correct location. For this I was attempting to use Affine Warper. The polygon I'm trying to change is the "Observer" and I have a geojson polyline with 2 points as the "Control" that I want to shrink the polygon down inside. No output is given in the Affine Warper.

Why does the FeatureMerger flip some line directions when supplying their geometry to another feature? It seems that only features that begin running in a southerly direction are flipped. Here is the transformer: Input:Output:

Does anyone know if it's possible to write with multiple DWG templates. I've tried making a published parameter and defining the template fil as AutoCadSource but it seems it only applies the first one.  I need each corresponding template to be the original file that I'm reading in because they're all different and have different block names within them.   Thanks!  /Jacob

I would like to reuse some parts of a workspace in such a way that the combination/module of transformers is only written once but used by "many". I would like to reuse these "modules" so that it can be used by different streams. A simple example to explain what I am after: Imagine that I have created a group of transformers that conducts some wizardry, a module of sorts. How can I use this in such a way that it makes copies of a Feature, applies different amounts of "something" and then fans out the result in a file for each "something"? I understand that the question is vague, I was hoping for suggestions for further reading so that I could try and understand the principles for this. Should I be looking at custom transformers? Child workspaces? Or is there an other way to achieve this?

When I convert features from a EGDB to a gpkg not all polygons are transfered coorectly. Some polygons are written as a null geometry. I am unknown with gpkg's so I guess I am doing something wrong but what? Any one has a answer to this?

@Hello!I've issue that maybe you would know how to solve, description: I am using FME Server 2020 docker-compose version and I would like to automate its deployment to my purpose - by adding a script that is creating repository/publishing/running some .fmws on it by REST API. The script would be another docker in docker-compose file.  Unfortunately, you have to change FME Server admin password just after the installation to do operation there, and I don't see any other way than doing it manually in the UI. I've tried doing it by REST API but I get:Authentication failed: Password needs to be changed and must be reset. Please login to the web interface to update your password Is there another way to manage this manual step in my deployment process? Another ideas how to automate such operation are welcome! Thank you for reading! 😎

I'd like to know if it is possible to use Topology Builder/Shortest Path finder in some combination (or other transformers) to assign a value to point attributes that represents the number of hops to get to a point with a certain flag attribute. For more detail, I have a point dataset and a line dataset. The point dataset has a column with a yes/no flag. The line dataset is a network that connects all the points, one segment per point pair. I'd like to add a new attribute to the point dataset that is the shortest number of hops a point with a "no" flag is away from a point with a "yes" flag. In the attached image, I am trying to get the blue point on the far right to have a value of 1 assigned to it. A bonus would be another attribute which tracks the number of unique paths to a point with a "yes" flag. Ie. the blue point on the right would have a value of 2.

Hi there, I have a spreadsheet where I need to replace a string of text. I have attached the spreadsheet with the original text and what I would like to replace it with. I'm having trouble coming up with the correct syntax in the 'Text To Replace' in the 'Parameters' dialog box.  I can get the first string to replace but not the second. I am trying to merge some data with the FeatureMerger. There are two datasources. Merging should be done when: AttributeA = AttributeB OR AttributeB = AttributeA(It skips ahead if I only use one of these) How do I do this? I guess I could use the text editor, but am unsure of the syntax. Or should I use the InlineQuerier for better results? Same thing there though, I don't know the correct syntax.

Hello everybody,I was wondering if FME can build a network starting from an xls file containing nodeID with its coordinates (x and y) in one sheet, and arcID with its start and end nodeIDs. Wich transformer should I use? Hello FME-friends :) I want to use WorkspaceRunner to run a workspace containing one reader with multiple shapefiles in it. I can't get it to work. To me it seems this is a limitiation in the workspacerunner. WorkspaceRunner works fine if it runs a workspace containing one reader with only one single shapefile. General question: Is this a known limitation? I can't find anything on this topic.

I have been puzzling for a while how to process data available on the Dutch portal www.pdok.nlAfter downloading a gml-file (type Dutch TOP 10 GML), I would like to extract the information stored in elements and convert this information into attributes. Therefore I use the XMLQueryExtractor. This does the job, information is temporarily stored in lists but this is a very timeconsuming process. Examples of elements with multiple values from the featuretype ‘Wegdeel’ are naam, typeWeg ,hoofdverkeersgebruik and fysiekVoorkomen.  Is there a more efficient method? I have attatched an example workspace… Many thanks in advance. (v 2019.2.2)

Hello, I wrote a tool to join 3 Excel spreadsheets (solar data and 2 different meter tables) and an address point feature class. I tried appending this data to a SDE geodatabase feature class called, Distributed Generation. The writer only appended the attributes and not the geometry. I'm not sure why the geometry is getting lost during the translation. (As a temporary work around... i wrote it to a file geodatabase and am manually appending in ArcMap).  I have attached a screenshot of my workflow and parameters of the writer. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated 😊  

In the "Automations > Manage"-list theres a column "Status", where the number of errors / warnings in the automations are listed. In FME-Server 2019.2.1 it was possible to remove those numbers by clearing the automation-logfile.In FME-Server 2020 it's not possible to clear the logfile anymore. So how can I remove the numbers of errors/warnings in the Automations-List?The "clear Log"-button has gone, but there's a new "Log action" button instead. What is this for? It doesn't seem to do anything...? Thanks, Vera
