Hello there,I am trying to aggregat neighborhood polygones (they need to touch or intersect each other) grouped by their ID with the condition, that the value of a specific attribute from the neighbor polygone needs to be in the range of +-10% of the „motherpolygones" value. In addition, I need to use the „Attributes to Average, Weighted by Area“ attribute accumulation setting from the aggregator. This option isn’t available in the neighborhoodaggregator. Also the "Attributes to Concatenate" option is necessary. In words the Transformer should do this:"If the polygones has the same ID and touches or intersect each other and the value of the attribute AA is in range of +-10% aggregat them. Weight the BB attribute by area and concatenate the attribute CC." Does someone has an idea? best regards,knigge

Hi FME community I would like to fade-out raster image created with WMS and write to a pdf-file. For this I first create my WMS image and then overlay this image with a prepared png-File with the fade-out effect. Within FME everything works fine and the result before the pdf-writer in the Data Inspector is what I expect. But in the pdf-file the fade-out effect is no longer visible (see attached screenshot).  I guess it's a problem of the pdf writer. Does anyone have an idea how I can fix this? Thank you very much and kind regards from Switzerland. Dominik

I have a shapefile with both points and multipoints (not produced by me) which I am reprojecting and then writing to shapefile again. The multipoints don't get written due to the writer expecting only point feature types. I would like to split the multipoints into single points before writing, similar to the PointCloudCoercer when splitting a point cloud to single points. Is there an easy way to do this in FME or should i just give up and fix it in ArcGIS? 

Hello experts,I'm stuck in an installation problem that I'm not able to solve.I need to install a library (i.e. cx_Oracle) for both 2.7 and 3.7 python interpreter.I tried to install both cx_Oracle versions in:C:\\Users\\myself\\Documents\\FME\\Plugins\\Python\\python37 andC:\\Users\\myself\\Documents\\FME\\Plugins\\Python\\python27Trying to configure both interpreter in FME, it seems FME 2020 is not able to find the library. Error: Python Exception <ImportError>: No module named cx_Oracle.So I tried to copy the python37 content into C:\\Program Files\\FME2020\\python\\python37 folder.Now the error is "Python Exception <ImportError>: Module use of python27.dll conflicts with this version of Python".Any idea on how to properly configure where to install libraries and let FME looking for the correct version?ThanksRoberto

What are the versions for the third party components used in FME Server? Database Server? Application Server?

Hello,     Our AV policy is set so that any unknown executable file is blocked unless it is trusted. There are two options for a file to get into this state:   1) The file is signed by a recognized Certification Authority  2) It has been analyzed by the AV itself (and it has to be executed prior to analysis)     This means that after every update we have to experience continuous blocks -as every dll is analyzed independently- until the whole program becomes functional.     As a good security practice that any mature software company should perform, could you please sign your code?    Thank you in advanced,

Hi FME Community, I've been sent a spreadsheet with a series of rent entries. The name of the property, the dates and rent are the fields which are important. For each entry, which is a single line per rent payment, there may be an increase in the amount. This can be after 1 line, or 20. Basically, I need to only keep the entries which show an increase in rent amounts. Trying to find these entries and automate them seemed simple at first - but has stumped me. If anyone has any ideas, I'll be very grateful.Thank you

Hi.In one of my FME-workbenches I'm splitting lines at several points (water lines and devices) by using a PointOnLineOverlayer. After the splitting, I want to create a numbering of the new line segments according to the direction the line has been digitalized. I've tried using a counter with the ID of the lines as the countername, so I get a count based on the ID. But the result is not what I want. The numbering seems random. As you can see from the first example (just a mockup), each line has an ID and you can see where the points are.After I split my lines and calculate a new ID, I get this:The segment IDs are not numbered in the direction of the lines. What I want to achieve is this: Do you have any suggetions?

Hi list.I've built a workspace with a loop looking for information, that I don't know the exact end of. So I loop with a margin, and I save an ID of the last found instance, and check whether I've had too many consecutive fails. If too many fails have been found, I redirect to a Terminator transformer.However, when I ran the workspace, expecting some output to a database, no output was produced.It seems that the Terminator transformer rollback previous database inserts. When I disabled the Terminator, all worked as expected.Is there a way of making a peaceful halt of processing of a workspace, not the "pull-the-plug" kind of behaviour that Terminator seems to perform ?I.e., is there an option to make the Terminator transformer less "Terminator"-like ??Cheers

I have a 10-year-long dataset that needs to be split by year. The complication in my case is that I need each output year to start from December of the preceding year, i.e. the output filter for year 2019 has to be from 01/12/2018 00:00 to 01/01/2020 00:00. I can't seem to get this to work with AttributeRangeFilter. Cheers.

Hi,I have two raster files, DEM_epsg25831_orthoHeights.tif and GEOID_epsg4326.tif, and I have to convert from orthometric heights of raster DEM to ellipsoidal ones. I am using CsmapReprojector [3] with FME Workbench 2019.1 but I have problems with vertical adjustment. Hello,By default, the location of FME temporary files in the system temporary directory is on some Windows versions defaults to C:\\temp or under the user local temp directory (i.e. C:\\Users\\mark\\AppData\\Local\\Temp). There is a way to change the location of temp files using these methods : https://community.safe.com/s/article/fme-temp-environment-variableThe problem is we need administrator rights to make these manipulations. FME users doesn't have always the administration rights. In my case, setting the location right directly from the WorkBench (in the FME options menu for exemple) would be very helpful : Do you think it can be a good idea? Started to build a FME Workspace that would test in-coming email for 2 files attachments with a specific pattern. I'll email reply back if the 2 files are not found, if found then save them to a network UNC location. I've got reading email json -> into 2 ListSearcher (1 for each file) This is where I'm hung up as testing for the 2 specific files (it has 2 files and very specific for each to the 2 files)?

The data I have looks like the table shown in the appendix 'Current format'. I want to come to the result shown in the appendix 'Needed result'. So I need some form of grouping based on the ID column. And also a sorting based on the BOTTOM_DEPTH or based on the DBK column.Within each group, the first row needs to get a top depth of zero. All following rows need to get the BOTTOM_DEPTH value of the row above.

I am trying to set up Topic Monitoring on FME Server and the service fails to connect, the FME Server is running on Amazon EC2 instance. I have opened port 7078.

I have a large dataset split up into three shapefiles (south, middle, north). From this I use Clipper to cut out the area of interest. To save processing time I would like to only read the data necessary (i.e. one of the three files). I have a bounding box for my area of interest so I would like to select one (or two) of the files (south, middle, north) to read depending on the y-max/y-min values of my bounding box. Is this possible?

Hi all.I installed version 2020.0 originally, and when 2020.1 was released, I opted to upgrade the engines only. This worked out fine.But the web interface GUI is still 2020.0, and so any improvements here are not available. This is probably not an issue now, but will be when 2021.0 is released.Are there any concerns when upgrading FME Server fully ? Will all setup be kept in place ? Are there any post-install tasks needed ?Cheers.

I was wondering if it would be possible to extract the text information about a pipe, the pipe is represented by a linestring, with the text being in close versinity to the line. And if it's possible, also extract the letter representing a manhole or point to which a line can connect.The red letters "A" represent manholes, the yellow line represents a pipe. Both the letters representing points and the lines have z values. The white text under the yellow line in the center, represents the name of the pipe type (KL200), and the text values in the start and the end of the line represents the elevation of the pipe. The value with the large font text (56186 and 56185) is the ID of the manholes. I have a structure in which I would like the data to fit but the whole, extract text information and apply it to the attribute of the nearest line or point is where my limited experience with FME holds me back. Is it possible to create an FME Server App with a geocoder - so when users use the Geometry Picker tool they can search location and go to a location before start creating the geometry.Example with the default geometry example is Vancouver, BC.If you want to go to Toronto, ON is there a quicker way than zooming and panning?

Looking to drop a shp file into workspace and extract the data type of each field. e.g. Address.shp may have fields StreetName (text) and StreetNumber (int).
