HelloI just started using Automation in FME Server 2020 and plan to use it more by migrating my existing scheduled jobs.I have a workspace which runs a batch script. It uploads multiple files to an SFTP server using WinSCP.com commands withing the script.The workspace in question, in "Automations" is connected to 2 Email (External Action) 1 - Success then send an e-mail2 - Failed then send an e-mail with 2 attachments (WinSCP.txt & Error.txt)Number 2 is the problem. So I thought I'd use Global Keys for that purpose ({Global.Email_Attachment}{Global.Email_attachment1})Right now it's failing before when the 2 parameters are associated together I get an error in the log stating that the file can't be found.Is that possible and if so how do I include both Global Keys within the Email Attachment field? If not how do I proceed?Thanks Sameer

Hi, I need to work with a file that uses EPSG:5682 as CRS but unfortunately it's not available in the CS Gallery. I tried to add it as a custom CS, as described in the online documentation but it's still not showing up. This was my workflow:I went to the online tool and pasted the ESRI WKT for EPSG 5682I entered the missing parameters (that weren't already populated from the WKT)I unzipped the files provided by the tool and copied them to ..username\\Documents\\FME (see attachment)After restarting FME, the custom CS is still not available in the gallery. Did I miss something? Thank you for your help!

Hi, We are creating an integration between Smallworld and FME Server. The Smallworld tool will call an FME workspace on our FME Server. The FME Server is hosted internally only and we are using built in authentication.  There is an option in FME Server to create a short lived session token via the api. I've set up a user that only has access to this repository that can be used to generate the token.  There is a second option in the Administrator interface to generate a fixed api token. When is this used? Is it more or less secure? The Smallworld developer notes that if you are using a user name and password to generate the short lived token then the risk is similar:'It seems to me that the API token with restrictions is more secure than username/password. Such a token is long and not recommended. It can be extracted from the Smallworld session and this applies for username/password.' For integration with Portal for ArcGIS we use the short lived token generated by a built in

Hi, I've a bunch of features relative to adresses and associated inhabitants.I've already grouped the features by similar street names and numbers wich results in the "match_id" column.What I need now is to sum each four "total..." column's value (separately) by using the "match_id" as grouping value.The goal is to get the number of peoples, etc ..., living at one adress.I've tried several transformers after the AttibuteManager but none return the attented values. Thanks for your help

Please can someone tell me how to write a WHERE clause in the feature reader that excludes records that do not contain a value.I have thousands of records and some of them have a Global ID - I want to keep these records.I also have records that contain NULL or no value - I want to exclude these values.I can perform this function in a Tester, but a colleague informed me having this clause built in to the feature reader instead will be much quicker. Perhaps someone can confirm this.Thanks, Frank

Hi there,I have a distributed FME Server installation - Web/Core, Engine, DB behind a Firewall/reverse proxy.  We configured the JobHistoryStatisticsGathering workspace on a schedule and it is running successfully. However in the FME Server documentation here https://docs.safe.com/fme/html/FME_Server_Documentation/WebUI/Dashboards.htm there are several dashboards listed that I am not seeing. Hi everyone, I need to retexture a citygml file using one (mosaic)image file. But I am facing an issue in the last steps using the Appearance Setter. I started with the WallSurfaces and managed to calculate the (row,column) coordinates of each wall-vertex on the new single image (derived from the previous textured model that used multiple images for one building in the appearance folder). The position of a (sample) wall3D projected on the mosaic-image looks correct, attached a screenshot from QGIS. I rescaled the row column coordinates to a 0,1 scale, with (0,0) representing the lower left corner of the image, and stored them as list-attributes for each wallsurface. When I open a workbench in 2022 that is authored in an earlier version, the user parameters that contain file paths disappear. Below is the screen shots of a workbench in 2021:These are the screen shots of the same source info in 2022I am using FME 2022.0.1.1 (Build 22350 WIN 64)If I unlink the user parameters in 2021 and then open in 2022 the file paths come through fine. Thanks CheersJacky 

Hi,I'm trying to convert an IFC file (exported with Revit) into a .gml one. I tried to recreate the workspace suggested here: https://knowledge.safe.com/articles/1025/bim-to-gis-intermediate-ifc-lod-300-to-lod-4-cityg.html , but I could not be able to visualize the output file (.gml) in QGIS software. Using the available data at the above link, I can see them. Why? I'm using FME Workbench 2019.

I have a workspace that converts a DWG file to a new DWG utilizing a template file. However, I am unclear on how the text styles saved in the template file interact with multi text features written to the output DWG. I understand that the template file will overwrite any styling you set in the workspace for lines, polygons, and blocks. Does this also apply to text? Here are the details, In my workspace I set the text style with the property autocad_shape_name to a corresponding style in the autocad template file. Also, the multi text features are put on a layer that exists in the template file. I have been trying to modify two attributes in the text features that are found in autocad (Annotative, and Defined Width), see the image below showing these properties highlighted in AutoCAD. I would like to iterate through a table based on a list of values. This is the process I would like to automate:Filter the table on a value then add an attribute and BulkAttributeRenamer. I have 20 values so I'd like to be able loop through the table for each value rather than have a set of transformers for every value.

I have made sure they are under the same coordinates when impporting them into the process as well as using the coordinate system setter but still no luck in making them overlap in the inspector afterwards.Im not sure if I am missing something obvious since I am new to FME or whether its an issue with the shp files. 

Hi, I have a (complete) road network containing all the "real" roads segments of the road network. I then have several "copies" of the road network but with different segments, these segments define attribute properties for the road segments. I want to split the "real" segments by multiple attribute segments.e.g.: Road 1 --------------------------------------------  5m                      10m  ---------|-----------------------------------  70km/h                 50km/h        70km/h --------------------|-------------|----------Desired output:5m           10m          10m          10m --------|-----------|-------------|---------- 70km        70km        50km/h       70km/h  Does anyone have a good solution for performing this in FME? 

I'm using a coordinate system that is not in FME’s Coordinate System Gallery. I added a custom coordinate system by creating a new .fme file and using the online tool. When I am running a job on FME Server I get an error message saying: "There was an error submitting the job. Authentication Failed: Account is disabled"My account isn't disabled as I'm signed in as that user. I've also tested other users and I get the same error message. The workspace runs fine as a schedule, just not when I use the Run Workspace page, or the FME Server Job Submitter.

Hallo FME community,I have a line and there are vertices on it. I want to have vertex as point. (exactly a tool like "Feature Vertices To Points" in ArcGIS) I used Intersector and topologybuilder for this and they don't exactly give me the vertex. Attached you find the pictures.     

In print it is possible to visualize the line created, totally without logic, and in red what would be the appropriate route.
