I have simple script with adding color palette to raster ASC after cell value replacer . In ouput GeoTIFF i received too many palette colors represented with black color. |In attachment i send script. It's possible to have only 3 selected colors without black numbers?

This would be simple to do in Excel, but I can't figure it out on FME. The problem is I need to transpose or pivot rows to colums, as in example (I have formatted and calculated the totals to first box):I have tried with AttributePivoter and AttributeCreator/Aggregator, but it doesn't work. Any help would be appreciated, I've tried to google, but with no luck. I have also tried to pivot the unprocessed data and calculate it there.

How can I maintain my Z values in my featuresclass using surface draper while replacing the vertices that lack a Z value using the surface provided?

Hi, I would like to force FME into treating my numbers as double before sending it to the feature writer transfomer. This allows me to make use of the automatic user attribute functionality, otherwise I would to manually define each attribute, which is cumbersome. For example:I have calculated the difference between reported and measured plot sizes. The result is stored in a colum as number, but it seems that FME interprets the number as string ... no matter if I use the @Evaluate() function or any other math function ... also string replacer cant change that. The result is always the same: i have to change the format in the feature writer, which I would like to avoid. main_plot_diff is left aligned, showing that FME interprets the data as string.  string replacer is powerless...  ... and the feature writer also interprets the data as string

I have polylines that have Z coordinates on each vertex. The polylines represent water pipes and are below the ground surface ~1 meter. I have a LAS of the ground surface which can be converted to a raster to create a surface. The situation can occur where the polylines get above the ground surface in between the vertices due to variation in terrain and lack of vertices with X, Y, Z values in the polylines. How can I identify those locations and add an extra vertex so the polylines will stay below the ground surface?

This is probably very trivial topic but I cannot get the correct result from this: @ReplaceString(@Value(ATTRIBUTE),,,.) So idea would be to change e.g input value 1,6 to 1.6. Or should I change some FME attribute value to have decimal separator as . instead of , ? EDIT:I get it working by this workaround. Maybe there's is some fancier solution

Hi, I have 2 lines and they have real elevation value (z value). I want to add lines which exaclty middle of 2 lines. Also the new line should has actual z value . ( average z of 2 lines). How can I do?

Depending on what sections of my FME workflow I run, the VariableRetriever returns with the expected value or returns empty. If I run with the large selection (in red), it does not work. If I run with the small selection (in blue), it does work. Can someone explain the VariableRetriever seemingly inconsistent behavior? See attached screenshots for details.

I have adress points representing persons and attributes for each point including a categorization into age intervals. I also have a polygon grid to which I want to sum up all persons in each age interval to each grid cell. My output should be the grid polygons with a sum for each age interval, like this:"grid ID" "age 0_5" "age_6-17" 1 12 56 2 23 109 3 4 13I've tried several solutions eg. with "point on area overlayer" combined with the "list summer" but havn't been able to make it work. I use the 'generate list on an ouput area' option but my resulting "sum_" from list summer returns only "0" for all rows. Do I miss something with the lists buidling? Or any other ideas how this can be done? Thanks

Hi all.2022.2 introduces triggering an automation from a webapp, in addition to triggering automations in numerous ways already defined.One such triggering is "FME Server Topic notified".Can I create a workspace, uploading it to FME Server, and have this emit such a (custom) topic, in effect triggering the automation to run ?If so, I could potentially create a webapp for such a workspace, and achieve the same functionality, couldn't I ?Alas, there are no immidiate transformers that allows such emission, but workspace FME Server Parameters include FME_TOPIC and FME_TOPIC_MESSAGE. Can they be used for this, and if so, how ?Or must I resort to using the REST interface ??

I have a text that randomly has numerals and text for numbering. So the text can be: 20 trees will be planted of which ten will be oaks. I want to replace all numerals that are in text with numbers, so I get: 20 trees will be planted of which 10 will be oaks. I already have a csv (with the numbers as numerals and in text) which I could use to merge. I was thinking about putting every single word in the text in a list and the matching all words with the csv with a loop, but this will be very data heavy. Any suggestions to do this in a clean way?

Is there still fmeobjects package supporting python 2.7 in FME 2022.2?I need to run an FME workspace in ArcMap, which uses python 2.7 and realized there is no fmeobjects for Python 2 in the FME installation folder. Is there an alternative way to do the job?

We have a unique number 0 and 00 to identify paying customer.I set (0 and 00) in the AttributeFilter but both values end up on either 0 or 00 depending on wich one in the list comes first.What am i missing here? or should i set up a tester instead for each number or text value? /Tim

I'm trying to create a count that changes whenever it sees an empty row in a dataset. For example, I have the first 3 columns and would like to create a column similar to Test2 (see image below) that has a new count whenever there is an empty value in Test in the preceding row. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I recently upgraded my FME Server (to 2020.2.4) and the unwanted file hierarchy for FileCopy output datasets in Data Download Zip files have returned! I now have an additional folder (called FILECOPY_1) in the output zip from a Data Download Service on Server. I've updated the Writers in Desktop (2020.2.4), but the edit functionality (Publish --> Edit Register Services --> More) seems to do nothing for the structure of the zip file for FileCopy outputs anymore after publishing (the old way is outlined here: https://community.safe.com/s/question/0D54Q000080hM9QSAU/how-can-i-change-the-folder-structure-returned-in-the-zip-file-from-fme-servers-data-download-service). I this a known bug, and is there a fix please? Many thanks!

Here is the background. Esri uses subtype/domain objects in its GDB implementation instead of native RDBMS' relational tables with foreign key constraints. The result is often "nu-disciplined" databases from the RDBMS standpoint. I hope to create relational tables to protect data assets by extracting all the domains in our GDB.

Hello FME community, I'm trying to delete or merge some layers of DWG files and write them back as DWG files. during the transformation I lose my blockreference and the blockreference is written as a polyline. I would like to know how the blockreference can be written as a block reference. the first picture refers to properties in the source and second shows properties after transformation.
