Hello FME community, I have loaded a text file as CSV into the workflow so that a table is created.This then looks like this:I need a process that can work independently of the number of attributes but according to a pattern. Therefore I have converted these attributes into a list. Here is an excerpt from it: (fme_basename: 102)_list{0}.col2   892_list{0}.col3   1448_list{0}.col4   48_list{0}.col5   70_list{0}.col6   874_list{0}.col7   1628_list{0}.col8   50_list{0}.col9   78 The pattern looks like this:col2 and col6 belong in one attribute (x)col3 and col7 belong in one attribute (y)col4 and col8 belong in one attribute (dx)col5 and col9 belong in one attribute (dy) So every 4th element belongs to the same attribute.I would like to change the list so that the index can be set according to the pattern. This would then have to look like this: _list{0}.col2   892_list{1}.col3   1448_list{2}.col4   48 _list{3}.col5   70 _list{0}.col6   874_list{1}.col7   1628_list{2}.col8   50_list{3}.col

Hi, I'm new to FME server and I configured an smtp account to send system emails however something wrong is happening as no emails are actually sent.The configuration seems correct in Admin panel (configuration > system & email > email service) (correct info and validation test pass). However, the simple test of running a workspace with email notification on status does not work. Checking the subscribers logs (resources/logs/core/current/subscribers/emails.log) gives quite odd information: "801031 : Invalid SMTP server." I used the same SMTP configuration using an emailer transformer onto a workspace; everything works fine when running on the server. So I'm a bit confused here about why it gives this error since all other stuff seems OK ... (side note: I'm using infomaniak.com infrastructure for the mail server and they does not ask for 2nd auth or other protection for sending email from other apps) Thanks in advance!

Hi,I'm using a FeatureMerger to check that two files contain the same features based on their attributes.Apparently, they don't seem to contain the same features although I thought they would. I must be missing something in the data. That's allright, FME's there to help me isn't it :)But strangely, the features which are not merged are not output by the UnmergedRequestor port of FeatureMerger. Isn't that weird ? 

Is it possible to create a bar chart with space between the bars? Currently they are merged together?  

Hello everyone, I noticed that FME does not read the AutoCAD 3D element types- mass element - mass group (which is composed from mass elements)at all. On the other hand, 3d solids are read in. Below is an example of this.  Is there any way to read in mass elements from AutoCAD files with FME (e.g. by suitable parameter settings on the reader)? Alternatively, is there any way that with FME, I can detect if there are mass elements in an AutoCAD file (a simple yes/no would be sufficient for me)? Here is the example: I have some DWG file containing four 3D objects, one mass element, one mass group and two 3D solids, one of which is the mass group converted to a 3D solid: When I now read this DWG file into FME (Autodesk AutoCAD DWG/DXF reader with standard parameters), only the two 3D solids are available to me as FME features, but neither mass group nor mass element: I attached the DWG file to this post.

I'm new to FME and the Vmap/VPF format, And I would like to now how to convert an ESRI shapefile, obstacles (points with attribute height), to the VPF format. Is there someone who can guide me?

Is it possible to loop in FME? I want to connect a transformer back to the previous transformer in a particular condition.

Hi,I created a custom transformer which includes a PythonCaller to run a little script, worked fine while the transformer was embedded. I exported the custom transformer and added it to another workspace as a linked transformer, and now get the error:"The workspace is set to use `Python 3.9+', but the workspace contains a linked custom transformer with an incompatible Python Compatibility of `Python 2.7'. Please update the Python Compatibility of the workspace or the linked custom transformer" Both the workspace and the custom transformer are set to Python3.9+It works fine if I embed the transformer again. Any idea how I can resolve this?

I am not that familiar with the SQLexecutor, but I was wondering something. When I am running the SQLexecutor, I don't get any feedback, so therefore I was wondering if I can get some kind of feedback mechanism that the database operations have occurred succesfully or not

I have a table in which some rows have identical values. I would merge the identical rows into one by using aggrator.I want the sum of row values ​​to be written to a new row.the aggragator does not calculate a sum of the values.Attached you will find the pictures that may help you to better understand my description.column Anzahl_Gas_HA must be 2177 after using aggregator.

I have two polygons which overlaps and I use transformers to have the intersection (I tried Clipper, AreaOnareaoverlayer, spatialrelator and intersection) . So, it created a new polygon (the overlap of the two polygon.) The problem is that this new polygon belongs (in the attribute table) to one of the two polygon (The feature name of the new polygon is the name of one of the polygon) but I would like the name of the both polygon even if it created two overlap (the same but one with the name of the first polygon and one witch the second). Thanks you 

Hi,   I have to transform a series of points to a line consisting of cubic Bezier curves. I couldn't find a function to do that in existing transformers or the Python API of FME Objects. The Generalizer (NURBfit algotirhm) creates a spline curve, but it's not exact cubic Bezier curves. The expected line has to pass through the both ends of each 3 segments.     So, I wrote the following script. Is this the "re-invention of the wheel"? Hi all.I'm trying to consume a WFS service (Geoserver), which for some reason only works as version 1.0.0. This even though that the capabilities document clearly says 2.0, and accepts all versions.In versions 1.0.0 (and 1.1.0?) the parameter "typeName" is used to specify the layer (feature type), but this is later renamed to "typeNames" (with an S).I get an HTTP error 401 from the service when attempting to fetch data in version 1.0.0, but the very same URL works if I just add an "s" to "typeName".Can FME be tricked into instead using or adding the "typeNames" parameter?Actually, URLs may contain both "typeName" and "typeNames" parameters with the same value, which would make the requests robust against version problems. Can this be achieved?Cheers.

Hi.I'm exploring the possibility of making request to a secure server using FME.The webservices to be called require that the requests are accompanied by a company or function certificate. It will typically be stored in a certificate repository on the machine.I can make it work manually using HttpCaller with authentication = "Single Sign-On", but this prompts me for a certificate password every time, and the final script needs to run fully autonomously (on an FME Server).Any help is appreciated.Cheers.

I am trying to clip a point cloud using the values of a csv using the reader, but the PointCloudFilter transformer does not accept the @Value() field. I am at a loss now. Any help would be great. 

I'm trying to convert datetime values in ISO format to FME, because PostgreSQL database refuses to write that value as "timestampz". I have tried to both autodect and %Y-%m-%dT%H:%M:%S$The preview show correctly the conversion:But the ouptup stays the same:Any hints? Thanks

I have an OBJ file that I am converting to a Multipatch in an Esri FileGeodatabase. The process mostly works but the colored mesh in the georeferenced OBJ file appears as a white mesh, with no color, in ArcGIS Pro. How can I preserve the detailed colors?

Hi Safe team, Do we have an idea on which formats support mesh vertex colors? I can't see Information in the quick facts area for formats (e.g., OBJ) about vertex color support. It seems like it's becoming more an more common to see mesh objects with vertex colors instead of a texture. I'm just wondering what formats FME can read and write to where vertex colors are supported. So far form testing I can see OBJ supports reading them? A follow up question, is there anyway to convert these to regular appearances or a texture atlas for formats where the vertex colors aren't supported? Perhaps @daveatsafe​  has an idea?
