Hello,It'd be great if there was an option to set model units on the 3DS writer, paricularly to metres. There doesn't seem to be this option at the moment (running FME 2017), currently all 3DS models are written out in inches. Is this on the radar for future releases?Thanks,James

MRF (Meta Raster Format) is a file type designed by NASA but released as open-source GDAL compliant. It is specifically designed to enable very fast access to raster datasets that are stored in a cloud environment. It would be very nice to have the option 'Duplicate on Writer' always enabled, even if there are no writers present. I cannot think of a faster way to add a writer. Currently the option is greyed-out if there is no writer available in the workbench.
It would be really helpful if the PDF Styler could handle more than just dashed lines. For, example, a dashed dot; symbology for waterlines ( -w-w-w-w-) or powerpoles (-p-p-p-), pipelines (-//-//-) etc. Overall it would be awesome if it could read/incorporate ALL autocad linetypes (from a .lin file)
It would be nice to have the option that Custom Colors in the color dialogue (it is used with multiple names) will be kept over multiple FME sessions. Currently a new session means no Custom Colors.
The ides is to support the extraction of Raster data from Bentley DGN files. If a DGN file contains an embedded raster image it would be helpful to be able to extract and isolate this raster image and be able to work with it inside an fme workbench. At present raster DGN's are not supported by the Bentley Microstation readers.

Simplify input of Search Envelopes somehow - it would be nice to only have to deal with one dialog box (actually, ideally one text box even) rather than the current 4-6.
When doing an upgrade on FME Cloud through backup/restore (backup instance1, create instance2, restore .fsconfig file from instance1 on instance2) the target url's for push subscriptions are not updated, so they are still pointing to instance1 after the restore. It would be useful to have an option on the restore process that updates those target url's if they are pointing to the "local" instance.
Add the possibilty to remove a coordinate from a geometry by its coordinates instead of its index. Often you know where to remove the coordinate, but you do not know its index in a feature.
It would be nice to optionally produce an attribute on the NeighborFinder with the count of the close candidates. There are many times when I generate a Close Candidate List for the sole purpose of counting the number of list elements.

Create simple HTML 5 documents. Features specify headings, text, pictures, tables which are strung together to make a document. Potentially embed SVG, three.js inside.
It would be very useful to have notifications that are able to be scheduled (i.e. they will only run for certain times of the day). For example some of the functionality this would allow for: Being able to set a email publisher to only watch an email outside of work hours, rather than the whole day Running websockets as a notification process when engine demand may be higher for specific processes, but then allowing for websocketreceiver process to be always on when you know that engine demand won't be high. We manage several dozens of schedules on our FME Server, some of them even use CRON expressions. With the growing number of schedules, it becomes very hard to identify 'hotspots in time', i. e. when several jobs are scheduled to run at the same time. To handle this, we manually feed a SharePoint calendar which is error-prone.It would be awesome if FME Server would provide a way to either visualize the configured schedules similar to Microsoft Outlook or - even better - publish the schedule calendar via iCalendar so that it could be consumed from applications like Outlook or Thunderbird.

With the proliferation of the cloud and hybrid cloud solutions I propose the ability to add AWS key pairs as a resource (ie Web Connections) for use in AWS specific transformers. That way we don't need to bake them into the workbench when publishing to FME server. This would also allow a single point of change for all (server/cloud) published workbenches if they need to be modified or revoked under IAM in the AWS console.
Could we please extend directory watch publisher to web services other than DropBox and S3. We use Box extensively and would find it very useful to monitor folders in Box for content addition or change.
It would be helpful to get informed about security updates which require manual reboots of your FME Cloud instances.
A "HTMLTemplater" or HTML option in XMLTemplater would be really handy to create simple HTML content the same convenient way as XMLs (especially using sub templates) instead of AttributeManagers and Aggregators.
