I have some photomesh files that I would like to turn into 2d top down raster images. Is there a way I can accomplish that in FME while preserving the georeferencing. Most of my viewing software allows me to export a snapshot, but the geocoordinates are not preserved.Original data (obj)Desired output (geotiff) I can't just use the texture files because they are spaghetti.

How do I set up my writer to only update after column 3? Or is there a transformer that locks the columns to prevent them from clearing every time there is an update? 

I would like to start an FME workspace that has 2 CSV readers with a batch script that specifies the path for the CSV files that each CSV reader (in red). The workspace also has a CSV and Shapefile writer (in green) that I need to specify the output paths for.Is this possible?  tC/.

I've got several workspaces open at one time, and have a hard time switching between them using the Windows Taskbar because their names are "MULTI - MULTI", "SHAPEFILE - MULTI" etc.  I know Alt-Tab will cycle through, but I usually want to click on the taskbar to bring it to the foreground. Is there a way to display the file name instead on the Taskbar? Not the directory as these get pretty long. So it shows "land-use.fmw", "birds-of-prey.fmw", "routing.fmw" or whatever. Here's what I've got open right now:

I've got a server app that uses an HTMLReportGenerator to create a simple web page. It contains a few paragraphs, a table and a very simple SVG chart. However, when I run it from Edge, the SVG is missing, and line spacing and font sizes are different. In Chrome it's fine.However, if I do View Source, copy the html into a new doc and open that in Edge it looks as expected. Styling is within the html, except that which it references from bootstrap@4.5.3/dist/css/bootstrap.min.css

I am trying to use a HTTPCaller to call a website.The problem is that the website first is showing a loading-page while it's loading some data and after up to 8 seconds the new page is showing.The problem is that the HTTPCaller just gets the loading-page. Is there a way to let the HTTPCaller to wait until the new page is retrieved?

Currently we hardcoded the ‘URL’ & ‘Target File’ attributes in our FTPCaller parameters:Is there a way to specific them in a more dynamic way? For example, ‘Operating Account Structure - Export Budget 2022-09-22_13_27_55_PDT.csv’, the '‘Operating Account Structure - Export Budget ' part is static and '2022-09-22_13_27_55_PDT' part is dynamic date/time. How can we specific the dynamic part with wildcard something like ‘Operating Account Structure - Export Budget%.csv'? Thanks.

I have a street centerline Feature Class in a File GDB. I did a topology check in ArcGIS Desktop and it identified two streets that are overlapping one on top of the other (each street is identical in length). In FME, I set up a workbench with the SpatialFilter Transformer and two Inspectors to do a topology check. In the SpatialFilter I have tried using all the Spatial Predicates to test one at a time. FME does not call out these two overlapping street segments as does ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro.  Maybe if I set a Parameter Condition Definition based on Shape_Length attribute field it might work?  Fyi, I am using this data as a test to help me improve my FME skills. Any ideas on how to get FME to call out these two streets?  Here is a screen capture of the two streets highlighted in red as seen in ArcGIS Desktop.

Im trying to understand how to extract properties/radius from Oriented arcs. The ArcPropertyExtractor only works on "normal" arcs so a workaround could be to coerce the the oriented arcs to normal arcs, but can find a transformer for that. The properties exists in the geometry so cant be that difficult to extract it. Any ideas?

Hi, I have a list of attributes "A_x1" to "A_x20" and I want to sum them up with the attributes "B_x1" to "B_x20 based on the name of the attribute name. Like if part of the attributename = _x1 then sum.  See table below as example. Thanks!

Hello,  I would like to download a jpg file from my FME server and save it to my local drive with an API call.  Using FME desktop, I am not sure which transformer/writer to use, and I can't seem to find my REST API call to work. There are a few API documentations in the web, but what I tried was a GET call, but it doesn't seem to download anything.https://<fmeserver.example.com>/fmerest/v3/resources/connections/<MY_SHARED_SOURCE>/filessys/<file_directory/filename.jpg>I am pretty sure my auth and permission is file. Can someone please guide me how to achieve my goal? Kind regards,Tae

Hi guys, I have one more question. I've got task to generalize railroads in fme but I don't have any idea how to start (example data in screenshot).  On the screen you can see a lot of railroads with gap between around 5meters, I would extend the gap to 15 meters at least. I tried with bufferer but there is no result. Any ideas?

How does fanout work for dwg files with FeatureWriter in FME Server. Hundreds of postgis tables are read in my workspace with Feature Reader and they should be written as DWG files by object category. The process works as desired on Workbench. Separate dwg-files from each table with the desired filenames ja layer names will come out. But when I publish my workspace on the FME server, in download zip everything comes out in one and the same file with all feature types on its own layers and filename with a generically generated filename. When publishing, you can only specify the folder path. I would want to use FeatureWriters because I don't wanna create a hundred writers with few transformers each.

We are on FME Desktop 2021.2.2Currently have a FeatureWriter that can insert new records (Account ID with their correspondence amounts) into SQL table from a source CSV file. See below:For each import, the CSV file could have same Account ID with different amounts. Therefore, we'd need to truncate any existing matching Account IDs rows and replace with new data. Changed Table Handling to 'Truncate Existing' but the amount still doesn't change. Heard you can change Feature Operation to 'upsert' but don't have that optionThanks.
