It seems to me that the Map Configuration window doesn't work (or show) anymore when using the Geometry Picker in 'Full window mode'. I can also imagine that technically the window/menu does work/show, but is placed behind the 'full/expanded window' of the Geometry Picker, causing it not to be accessible/usable. To be clear. What I'm talking about is this menu/window, which does work when using the Geometry Picker in 'Inline mode';However, when I use the Geometry Picker in 'Full window mode', nothing seems to happen/show if I click on the Map Configuration button. E.g.;Are others also experiencing this issue? Is this a known bug? ps. I'm using FME Flow 2023.0.0.1 (b23288) on Linux.

I have a simple FME Flow automation: Trigger → Run workspace (generates excel report) → Emailer Generated excel doc has dynamic name with the date: Reprot_YYYYMMDD.xlsxI know how to email attachment with the stable name but can’t find the way to attach document that always has different name. Because in Action block and in Emailer block0 I need to specify Destination Microsoft Excel File and Email Attachment.  Could you please advise if this is possible and how. Thanks!FME Flow version 2025.

I’m using a ChangeDetector to compare a field called ‘notes’ between a Viewer layer and a Collector layer. They basically have the same features, the Viewer layer is more of a catalog with some slight schema changes. The goal is to update the Viewer layer with any changes that are made to the Collector layer. I built the whole workspace in FME Form and tested it repeatedly with many features and everything worked as planned. I identified changes in the Collector layer and wrote them to the Viewer layer. Great.I go to publish the workspace to FME Flow and run it, and it fails the first time with the message:“ArcGIS Online Feature Service Writer: 'updateResults' error for a feature in 'my_layer'. The error code from the server was '1000' and the message was: 'Operation failed. The index entry of length 2256 bytes for the index 'notes_Index' exceeds the maximum length of 1700 bytes for nonclustered indexes.'” I finally discovered that a subset of features (about 3,691) from the Collector

Hi,I’m using FME Workbench (2025.1.3.3) to transfer data between different databases. The workflow is as follows:Creator → FeatureReader → DatabaseQuerier → FeatureWriterThe FeatureReader reads one feature from the source database to initialize the process. The DatabaseQuerier then executes a query against the source PostgreSQL database and returns the actual data to be written. The schema attributes are passed through the workflow, and the FeatureWriter writes the resulting features to an existing table in the destination PostgreSQL database. The problem occurs when one of the source columns has the PostgreSQL bytea data type. The source and destination tables have the following relevant column:geom byteaWhen both the source and destination databases are PostgreSQL, FME does not appear to transfer this binary attribute correctly. With Bulk Insert enabled, the FeatureWriter fails with the following PostgreSQL error:ERROR: missing data for column "geom"The log also reports:Bulk copy failed

Hi,I am having an issue setting multipart uploads with httpcaller in 2026.2 FME Form. Please see embedded video, but basically the gui is glitching and I cannot see my values for the multipart strings correctly.

Hi,I am wondering what is the best way to display messages to guest FME web app users? Similar to how the broadcast messages functionality works, but for users without a login. For background, my team has published several FME Flow workspace apps which are used by colleagues across our organisation. The users access the web apps without logging into FME Flow, so we don’t always know who all the active users are or their contact details.I am looking for the best way to display temporary information to these users within the apps themselves. For example, if downtime to our database is planned which will impact the FME app, how to display a message to the user.  The best way I can think is using FME REST API to bulk update app descriptions with a message using PUT requests; and then repeat with a delete request to remove it later. However the formatting of the app descriptions is pretty limited for making a message stand out, and could be tricky to delete the temporary message without als

Hi there, I have about 230 workspaces that run daily to import data using the ArcGIS Feature Services Reader. The issue is, with every run I get warnings that don’t seem to be a problem, but make it seem like the workspaces aren’t running right.NOT changing coordinate system of reader identified by keyword `SAFE.ESRI-AGOL.ARCGISFEATURESERVICE_1' from `EPSG:7844' to `LL-GDA2020_FME' -- mapping file setting of `EPSG:7844' overrides coordinate system `LL-GDA2020_FME' read from fileThis warning just seems to be stating the coordinate system will not be overridden by FME’s LL-GDA2020_FME Coordinate System. It is logged for every reader feature type ArcGISFeatureServiceReader: Querying feature server 'https://public-services.OrganisationURL.com/public/rest/services/ServiceName/MapServer/This warning should not be a warning in my opinion, as it's just stating that the reader is querying the feature service. This occurs once for every reader feature type as well. Debugging is disabled, however

I am working on an FME workflow to read data from SQL Server, perform some data manipulation, and then update an existing ArcGIS Online Feature Service.I am using the ArcGIS Online Feature Service Writer in FME.During the translation, I am getting the following error:ArcGIS Online Feature Service Writer: Encountered an unexpected error. The error code from the server was '409' and the message was:'Item 'tmpf_t06kco.zip' already exists.'Details: ''ARCGISONLINEFEATURES writer: An error has occurred.Check the logfile above for details.I noticed that FME appears to be creating/uploading a temporary .zip/File Geodatabase item in ArcGIS Online. My intended workflow is:SQL Server ↓FME Data Manipulation ↓Existing ArcGIS Online Feature Service ↓Insert / Update / Delete / UpsertI do not want to create a new Feature Service on every run. The Feature Service already exists in ArcGIS Online, and my goal is to refresh/update the existing layer.

My company does SSL inspection/interception which is causing errors when trying to view background maps in FME Form.  I have seen ways to fix this for the FME Flow (Server) side, but is there any way to change any configurations for FME Form to handle this?  The CA certificate for our authority is in the Trusted Root Certification Authorities certificate store on machines so I’m not sure why it isn’t trusted if FME is using the machine’s certificate store for trust.  Below is an example of error seeing from FME Flow 2025.0.1 (but have seen on previous versions as well).Stadia Maps Reader: Failed to load 'https://tiles.stadiamaps.com/tiles/alidade_smooth/5/19/14.png'. Microsoft Azure SQL Database (JDBC MSSQL) User Attributes has a varchar(max)Microsoft Azure Synapse SQL (Data Warehouse) does not!I need to write WKT and GeoJson to my Fabric data warehouse and I think I need to use the Microsoft Azure Synapse SQL (Data Warehouse) writer to do that.  Data type varchar(8000) may not be sufficiently long for a line or a polygon for WKT or GeoJson. Is there something I am missing?  Is a varchar(max) on the roadmap for Microsoft Azure Synapse SQL (Data Warehouse)?I am using Form 2026.2.

Esri ArcGIS Connector package 3.22.0I want to update a single attribute on an existing feature layer using the newer ArcGIS Feature Writer. ArcGIS Enterprise 11.3. I am passing the writer the primary key for the row and the attribute I want to update. This is how I used to do it in the old feature service writer. But now I get a warning that it’s skipping the feature (actually all of them) because a different attribute in the featureclass is set to nonnullable and the value is null, missing, or empty. In this case, it’s missing. For example, I wanted to update an attribute on a utility network featureclass and got a warning that the feature update would be skipped because the associationstatus field is nonnullable. But that is a UN maintained field. Also, does this mean if I don’t pass an attribute that already exists into the writer it will null it out if it is nullable? It seems like this means I need to read the features in and pass all the existing attributes even if I know which ro

Hi everyone,I’m running FME Flow 2026.2 and would like a straightforward, native way to integrate FME MCP servers with our organization’s identity systems. My goal is for FME MCP servers to offer an app-registration option with Microsoft Entra ID or ArcGIS Enterprise / ArcGIS Online, so staff can use MCP tools through their corporate AI agents with smooth single sign-on (SSO).For example, staff could submit inspection or maintenance records for municipal assets or asset updates through an AI agent, using the Microsoft 365 identity they already use to sign in to ArcGIS Enterprise. When an FME MCP tool creates or updates an ArcGIS record, I would like the edit to be attributed to that employee’s corresponding ArcGIS account, with a traceable audit trail connecting the tool call, FME job, and resulting edit.A few questions for Safe and the community:Could FME MCP support native app registration with these platforms? What configuration would be needed in FME, the identity provider, and the

Hi everyone,I’m running FME Flow 2026.2 and looking into how to restrict access to its MCP server to approved users signing in with our organization’s Microsoft Entra ID / Microsoft 365 accounts. Ideally, we would manage access through Entra users or groups and support MFA and Conditional Access policies.I came across known issue FMEFLOW-29112, concerning MCP OAuth authentication with Entra ID. It is currently listed as unresolved across all versions, with an alternative identity provider suggested as the workaround. Before deciding whether to upgrade to 2026.3 or add another authentication layer, I’d appreciate some guidance:Has this been fixed in a newer build or hotfix, or is there an expected release for a fix? What is the recommended setup today for restricting an FME MCP server to our own organization’s Entra accounts? Does every MCP user need to be provisioned as an FME Flow user through SAML, or can access be managed directly through Entra? If a gateway or an identity provider s

I have a workspace with an FME Workspace Reader where I’m pulling information for ReaderParameters and WriterParameters feature types (don’t need the rest). I’m reading all of the FME workspaces in our FME Flow repository. There is one workspace that returns blank fields for the two ArcGIS Portal Feature Service Readers in the workspace. No other workspaces with ArcGIS Portal Feature Service Readers in them have this issue. I’ve narrowed the problem down to the existence of two User Parameters in the workspace, so I know what the cause is but not why. I can see the feature service info in the FMW file in a text editor so it’s there. In addition, the workspace always reads features from the two services (i.e. - the User Parameters don’t affect the reading of features). Can someone explain why the two User Parameters “block” the feature service info from coming through and how I might fix it? (FME 2023.2.0.0 - Build 23764)
