Hi all, I have an issue in getting the certificate to work for HTTPS URL of FME Server. I have used this URL as reference: https://docs.safe.com/fme/html/FME_Server_Documentation/AdminGuide/configuring_for_https.htm I did use these steps to create Keystore:• Open a command prompt as administrator and navigate to the Java bin directory (C:\\Program Files\\FMEServer\\Utilities\\jre\\bin )• Run the following command to create a new keystore file:keytool -genkey -alias tomcat -keyalg RSA -keystore tomcat.keystore• After running the previous command, you are prompted to set a password for the new keystore and specify the server domain name (for example, myserver.mydomain (My FME Server) as your first and last name.• Password: mypass• When prompted for the password for the alias <tomcat>, press RETURN.• A new keystore is created in C:\\Program Files\\FMEServer\\Utilities\\jre\\bin\\• Copy the new keystore file to the tomcat directory in the FME Server installation: C:\\Program Files\\F

I have some LandXML files containing points (CgPoints) and lines (PlanFeature) with some attributes. As per the LandXML schema, the <CgPoints> are defined with the coordinate geometry as a <CgPoint>, and the attribute information as <Feature> with properties:  <CgPoints>    <CgPoint name="TRAU201" code="" oID="TRAU201">1256922.890706 84309.502725 165.818283</CgPoint>    <Feature code="Gemini attributes">      <Property label="S_OBJID" value="TRAU201"/>      <Property label="S_FIELDCODE" value="41050"/>    </Feature>  </CgPoints>What I am struggling with is to read the Feature information. The LandXML reader gives me an option read both CgPoints and CgPoint, but not Feature. CgPoint will give me the name, code and oID above, but my Feature attributes are not there... I need to extract the "S_FIELDCODE" value along with the geometry, but how?

Hello, I have a shapefile with various polygons on land parcels. I've been tasked figure out the dimensions of the polygons and display them on a map for engineers and planners to examine. How would I go about this using FME 2018.1?Since some of the polygons have curves, I figured I would use the PolylineAnalyser tool from the Hub and use the Segment output. Then use the Sorter to first sort by the ObjectID and then by the angle of the segment. Then I wanted to merge line segments that are within a 2-3 degrees range of each other so I would get a continuous line, instead of a bunch of small lines to make up a side of a polygon. Perhaps I'm going about this entirely wrong and there is an easier way to do this. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

I have a set of geometry 3D objects containing, points, surfaces, cubes, and lines. Each geometry object in the set has attributes defined for them but the attributes are read into the workspace through a different reader.The geometry and attributes for this set are coming from the same file originating from AutoCAD Mechanical 2020.1) How can I join the set of attributes to the set of geometry objects?I have tried using FeatureMerger with a join on `_geometry` which is successful for points because the geometry matches the 'insertion point' of the attributes being read in but the join fails when the geometry is 3D or not of equal size.I have tried Matcher with vector tolerance but the results were not was I was looking for. Could be a transformer configuration problem.I have tried NeighborFinder but the results were not was I was looking for. Could be a transformer configuration problem.I have also tried SpatialRelator to find containment and Clipper but inputs were rejected for both o

I have features that I'd like to create one row per Precinct and the create an attribute for each Contest values assigning the Votes value to each of those new attributes. I have looked at the Attribute Exploder, the Aggregator, the List Exploder, etc. I'm a bit stumped. Any suggestion on how to accomplish this?  Something like this: Thanks for any help!

Is there a way to move workspaces from one repository to the other, other than re-publishing them through FME Workbench? I have a customer who has uploaded all workspaces to a single repository and is now looking to set that up in a better way (FME Server 2019)

Hi list.Does the FeatureReader reading WFS 2.0.0 data handle paging ?If a service is known to be limited to return a maximum number of features per call, paging, i.e. fetching the complete dataset in chunks, is a way to handle this.However, the only options I see are "Max Features" and "Count", but they don't incur paging, as far as I can tell.So how does FME handle WFS 2.0.0 paging ?CheersLars I

Hi there,I'm trying to figure out how VariableSetter/Retriever works.  I found this article which is very helpful:https://community.safe.com/s/article/converting-multi-line-records-into-single-features However, I'm a bit confused that there're 48 records when setting VariableSetter, while there're 450 records when using VariableRetriever...How could VariableRetriver work to detect&input those 48 rows' attributes into the 450 records?  Great thanks!

I have over 100 Excel files with standard format: each Excel file has multiple sheets corresponding to multiple days in one month on recorded hourly well flow data, and the format for each sheet is fixed. The top part of sheet has well header info while the lower part are recorded hourly well flow data. I need to combine the well header info and hourly flow data into standard table format and load into SQL Server database table. It is easy to read the hourly flow data into. My challenge is to also read well header info from the same sheet , combine with hourly flow data, and write all these data into a table. I am looking for examples and help on similar Excel data loading. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I have and ArcGIS Online account containing around 100 directories (Sp1, Sp2, Sp3,...). Each directory contains a feature layer (Sp1_WFL, Sp2_WFL, Sp3_WFL,...). I'm trying to figure out how to create an FME script that will batch process all of my feature layers. At the moment I want to add a new field to each of my feature layers and populate the field with a particular value. I recently watched an FME webinar that suggested using a DIRECTORY AND FILE PATHNAMES reader and a WORKSPACERUNNER transformer however I can't seem to get it to work. Is this the best option to use for batch processing in ArcGIS Online? If anyone could get me started I would really appreciate it.Regards, Damian

I'd like to send an email upon completion of a workspace in an Automation. The email needs to contain a link to the log file URL.In the traditional Notification/Subscription workflow I could achieve this by using the {logUrl} email template key in the Subscription.In Automations, this key no longer exists and I only have access to the {job.log} key, which expands out to the file path and not the URL. I don't see any URL in the topic JSON if I monitor a topic sent as output from the completion of the workspace. Is the URL available at all?

I have a multi-page Geospatial PDF and want to extract the vector data from each page, but want to retain which page number the data originated.

An errant process has dumped thousands of file into an FTP site with an FTP watcher on it. I now have thousands of jobs backed up in the queue with necessary jobs mixed in. I need to clear just the bad jobs from the queue and I need to do so without clicking through hundreds of pages and checking boxes. Please help.

On the screenshot to the right you can see that the webpage is trying to reach a link with fmeapiv4 in it. If I look in the logs (I added them as attachment) I see some interesting things in the tomcat/core-0/Catalina log. It looks like fmeserver has trouble starting the webapp fmeapiv4. What I can make of it is in part because it can not reach the DB. But everything else seems to be working so the overall connection to the DB seems to be fine.  Anyone any idea what might cause this issue and how to resolve this?

I'm using Filtertype: Contains, and I would like to add muliple string values to Match Expression, like "string A" OR "string B" OR "string C". I've tried creating a User Parameter, but it didn't work... any idea's?

I have a workspace where I am checking to see if features exist and if not I create them. In the workspace I read one table from a database and then join it to another table in the same database (join conditions to inspections). Currently I change the name of the Database manually in the reader and rerun the entire workspace. All my database files are in the same folder but have different names. I would like to be able to run a batch process that would process each database one at a time and then move to the next. Any help is much appreciated.

Is it possible to convert linestrings to arcs (beziers)? I'm looking for something opposite to ArcStroker. I tried the ArcEstimator on some terrain curves, but the outcome was terrible. (I have read that the CurveFitter could do this, but that transformer comes at an extra cost.)

I am using FME Desktop. For my data source I am using MSSQL_JDBC_NONSPATIAL_2. I am reading the data from the data source and copying it into the Socrata platform using the Socrata writer. I copied the first four lines of command line code, pasted into notepad and saved it in the same location as the FME file. When I run window task scheduler. In command prompt, it reads. Reading...Emptying factory pipline...Translation was Successful Then get the following message directly below it.C:\\drive........etc.''--SourceDataset_MSSQL_JDBC_NONSPATIAL_2' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.C:\\drive.....etc.'--DestDataset_SAFE.SOCRATA.SOCRATA2' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. I cannot tell, if that is an error message and the task scheduler failed or if that is normal? Hello, I have an FME Desktop workflow within which I have a Counter that is set to start at 700,000, but the final three entries are not rendering with a correct value as per the attached screenshot. The Counter scope is local and I do have a second Counter within this workflow that works fine, although I was having this prior to introducing the second Counter (this has a different transformer name, is also local and starts from 1). I have run this workflow a few times now with Feature Caching On and Off, plus have closed all other FME sessions, but am still getting the issue. Has anyone experienced this before? Thanks, RB
