Hi,​I am hoping someone in the community can help me with the issue I am experiencing during ArcGIS Indoors to IMDF transformation. Openings features, which are part of the Details FC in my ArcGIS indoors information model, are not being picked up during the FME transformation process - meaning the output does not contain openings.geojson file at all.​FME transformation phase that extracts the openings from Details features seems to be passing as expected. Feature geometry checks are also passed, but then the FeatureTypeFilter leaves them Unfiltered.The reason for this might be in the fact that assigned IMDF category for these features is set as pedestrian (which I understand is one of the allowed IMDF subcategories for Openings).  I would appreciate if anyone can offer some assistance. Thanks

Hello FME Community! I'm having trouble transforming a datetime to incorporate ​a UTC offset. Using the DateTimeConverter, any time I try to use the Timezone shortcuts (%z or %Ez), it tells me "Output Formatting Error: format flag '%z' is not supported for input type 'datetime' in the Preview Data window. I've read the transformer specifics and date/time terminology, etc. I've also tried using a DateTimeCalculator to use @TimeZoneSet but can't figure out the syntax there either. I've attached two screenshots - the first is what I want to resolve the datetime format to (but had no UTC offset) and the second is when I use the Timezone UTC offset shortcut.  I'm sure I'm missing something in the syntax - can someone help? Thanks!

Hey, this is my first time I´m asking something because I always found solutions throughout the FME-Community. This time I couldn´t find a post, where somebody had the same problem as I have right now. I have a shapefile including points with names. These names are just written in small caps. For example I have one point named "vierge du ballon" and I want to rename it to "Vierge du Ballon". Is this possible? I have 211 points where I need to change specific parts of the name (see the screenshot below!). I know there is a StringCaseChanger, but this one only changes Fullt Title Case... Just for understanding, there are some more examples (see screen):1) I have "vierge d'alsace" and want to change it to "Vierge d'Alsace2) I have "tombe de l'ermite" and want to change it to "Tombe de L'ermite" Would be so great if somebody know how to change it! :)

We are upgrading to FME 2020 from v2015 in a new server. We are using a temporary hostname and IP on our new server and as soon as FME Server, FME Desktop and the floating licence server are installed and everything works as it should, we will stop the old server machine and change the IP and hostname on the new server to the old ones.  My concern is how this will affect licensing for both FME Server and Desktop.As far as I know licenses are tied to hostname so I guess we cannot request licenses until we have changed the hostname. Am I right?

We're about to update FME-Desktop and FME-Server to 2021. Is 2021.1 soon to be released? If so, we would skip the update to 2021.0. Thanks, Vera

Converting a KML file to a LYR file seems like such a simple task, and can be done in ArcGIS Pro, but why can I not find a KML reader in FME 2021?

Hello everybody,because of specific demand I have to use JSON templater -> TXT writer workflow. But, when I need to export values true/false as boolean data type, JSON templater still put me there quotation marks for values true/false - so result is "True" or "False".Please, has anybody idea, how to figure it out to write bool values without quotation marks?Thank You so much!Lubo

Hi All I am trying to convert a grey-scale raster (TIFF file) to one where the pixel colour is based on a scale of the Band 0 value that is specified for each pixel, where green is used as the lowest value and then scales to red for the highest value. The only transformer that I found where I can set the colour is the GradedColorizer.I first used the RasterCellCoercer to get to the Ban 0 value (_band{0}.value) for each pixel and then uses in the the GradedColoriser. Once this transformer finishes its operations on the data, it gets sent to an ImageRasteriser to recreate a raster, which is then sent to a TIFF writer. The workbench file is attached here: . A test image can be found here: .The workbench however fails at the ImageRasteriser, stating INVALID_VECTOR_GEOMETRY_COLOR as reason.I must add that my understanding on raster bands are rather limited. I have also tried other transformers to keep the image as an image, and work with the Alpha band, but this seems to require more knowle

I have a set of csvs where the X,Y fields are named differently in each file, but always in the pattern {prefix}LocationX, {prefix}LocationY. The prefix is unrelated to the filename or any other easy way to predict. In order to process all the files through the same workflow, I would like to copy the attributes to _x and _y so the rest of the transformers can reference those attributes irrespective of the original names. Is there a simple way to do so without dropping into python?

Trying to convert hundreds of dwg files to dxf, can this be done in FME ?

I have some aggregate geometry in Multicurve form. Is there a way to filter out features where it looks like a donut from ones where the geometries are separate? Please see attached screenshots of both types.  The goal is to extract donut holes (after converting to area) and making them a separate attribute in the same feature. The problem is that converting to areas deaggregates the non-donut geometry. These need to be kept intact and treated separately.  Thanks,@larue​   

If I run a workspace manually the FME Server starts logging - but the logs are not available when the jobb is completed: Jobs ==> completed ==> choose one"Error: The log file for job ID "..." does not exist" Any help appreciated. Thanks

I am working on FME script which generated two output one is 1-1 where building outline are link to one parcel ( even if it related to multiple parcels) and another output is 1-M where building outline are link to many parcel which are relate to. Below are data inspector output of two custom transformer. which I need to joined as final output and exported to CSV. FeatureMerge i tried not giving right output. Output1 :  Output 2 :   Expected Output after joined :   FeatureMerger output : Highlighted column value is same all record which is not related to building outlines also.  

Geometry replacer is not working for me. Both features contain FME Binary geometry. I have tried renaming the attribute, cloning, etc. How does this work? Thanks,@larue

I have a data set with numbers in x y z sequence separated by "," representing 3D geometry polygons and points. It was originally WKT and had been formatted to work with Dynamo (Revit).  Here is a sample of a point:841.99951171875 678.6250000000001 -132 Here is a sample of a polygon:409.000000000001 473.499999999999 372,409.000000000001 797 372,487 797 372,487 871 372,1275 871 372,1275 476.286679607417 372,1275 461.500000000111 372,409.000000000001 461.5 372,409.000000000001 473.499999999999 372 My hunch is to chop everything up into x y z attributes and then reconstitute into points/polygons. Using two AttributeSplitters, I can create a list, but then, how do you assign these numbers to x y z in sequence? It is so close to WKT, maybe there is an easier way? Thanks,@larue​

I have two FME servers, one test and one production. Both have version 2020.1.3 and a recent installation of ArcGIS Pro 2.6. I have a workspace, also in 2020.1.3 with Python Compatibility set to "Esri ArcGIS Python 3.6". The workspace works fine on desktop which has Pro 2.6 installed. The workspace is published to both servers. It runs without any problem on the test server, but on the production server, it gives this error as shown in attached. It does not generate a log file either. It seems the production server does not know the existence of the Pro 2.6 installation. I have no problem launching Pro 2.6 on the production server. Do I need to do some special configuration on the FME server to work with ArcGIS Pro? I don't think I did anything special on the test server, and yet it works fine with Pro.

Hi,I can call a WCS by means of my browser, using a getcoverage request. The service returns a geotiff, for example, that i can save to my disk.It would be great to use FME instead. However, I only find WMS and WFS Reader.Do you know a way to do it anyway, do I have to use the HTTPcaller?Best wishes!

Hi I would like to filter my pointclouds based on the minZ from a corresponding DTM.  So the height difference in the area's is not that big. Therefore we could use the minZ from the whole DTM. If it can be done to do it for each rastercel, I'm also interested.  I want to use that minZ value to filter/split/test my pointcloud. I can't seem to find the right transformer to do this.  Like for the pointcloudfilter. I'm feeding it the pointcloud and from the raster(DTM) side an attribute (minZ). The filter won't accept the attribute.   This is what I have right now:

I have an FME Server App configured to run a workspace. That workspace may run an FME Job Submitter that runs another workspace. The second workspace has a data download service on it. How can I get the App to access the data that is made available from the second workspace triggered by the Data Download service?
