Hello,I am trying to populate a value into "_overlaps" using the PointOnAreaOverlayer Transformer but all the data keeps being Rejected.This works fine when both Readers are consuming Oracle Spatial but I think the issue may be because my Point data is non-spatial?Tried the 'Reprojector' Transformer but had no effect. The View with the Point data contains a SHAPE field therefore should contain geometry but the FME non-spatial reader does not contain the field and I cannot pick up the data using a spatial reader.I may be pursuing the wrong process here?!Thanks in advance.

I remember a demo/webinar about FME Server showing workspaces exploding in VR/AR - but can`t seem to find it. Anyone?

Hi All,I'm trying to read a MicroStation v8 dgn into FME Desktop 2020.1 and most of it is coming through fine, but some line strings which are classed as dimensions are not coming through successfully. Here is the dgn file (note the element type is dimension, why I don't know!): And this is the output i get when reading in FME:Instead of the line I get a point and part of an arrow but that's it. No pertinent warnings and no errors at all, any ideas what I might be doing wrong (other than asking the CAD person to redo all of the leader lines)?Dan

I'm looking for documentation going over how FME Desktop checks out an ESRI license. So lets say we have 10 standard ESRI licenses in our license pool. Then one user has ArcMap/ArcPro open, taking up one of the 10 and leaving us with 9 licenses available. If FME Desktop was ran with ArcMap/ArcPro open, would FME take up one of the available licenses, or does it just need to verify the license is valid? Would we still have 9 ESRI licenses available or 8? **I'm also only referring to workspaces that actually require an ESRI license I've reviewed this page, but wanted to be sure I'm understanding how it works with the ESRI licensing.https://community.safe.com/s/article/required-arcgis-license-types-for-fme-geodatabase   

This might be a bit of a simple question but I'm looking for a way to run an FME Server Automation as a singular event, one time, similar to right-click > Run on a Windows Scheduled Task. I'm running the Automation once per week using a Schedule Trigger, but if that Automation fails, I want to be able to manually run it again without impacting the existing schedule. I could duplicate the Automation and set the Schedule as Run Immediately but that would mean changing the Schedule settings each time. Not the end of the world, but I feel like there should be an easy way to run it just one time. I was looking at FME Server's Scheduler as well but it doesn't appear that you can setup an Automation and Trigger it one time, it seems like single workspace only. I'm running FME Server 2019.1.3.1.Any thoughts?Thanks!

 We have dozens of FME 2020 workspaces that use this capability that are now failing in FME 2021 because the parameter is not available to the Python Caller.

Can you update the attributes of a feature without having to upload the geometry to a AGOL hosted feature service? For example, we have a feature service with about 80 features where the geometry for each feature is huge. We want to do daily updates to the attributes and the geometry never changes. There is a work around where you have a non-spatial table and use hosted dynamic joins, but is a little awkward.

It seems that the writer wrongly rounds the values ​​of seconds greater than 59. Using DB Browser to query the result:  Could it be a bug? 

I have a lot of files with different coordinate systems. However, coordinate extractor only works to get a coordinate system of a file. Is there a way to get a list of coordinate system names of multiple files in different formats (shp, tab, kmz..)

Hi everyone, I'm struggling with the PointOnAreaOverlayer transformer. For some reason the transformer is not finding a spatial relationship when there clearly is one. My workspace starts out with two SQL-creators (one with geometry and one without geometry) that I merge based on a matching attribute. This works as expected. Next I filter the merged dataset based on a numeric value.After this I use a Shapefile reader and the aforementioned PointOnAreaOverlayer to count the number of points inside the shapefile polygons. No matter what I try, the results show there are no points intersecting the polygons. I've so far checked if the FeatureMerger is merging the geometry, which it is. Checked if all the inputs are in the right projecten, which they are. I am using user parameters to set the filter range and to set the overlap count attribute of the PointOnAreaOverlayer. I used fme desktop 2019my source data is fgdb with 104,073,607 (104 million +)featuresorg table shows 104073607 but only 80,900,000 records processed.there is no transformers between , reader is fgdb and writer is oracle spatial data. dont know , where was the issue. This is a silent failure of fme.no error msg. after writing the checked the counts, it was less. then i splitted the fgdb files into two part(using arcmap)then im fine. how to fix this issue? I tried to use TwilioSMSSender to send a web link text message to my mobile. i would like to merge the output pdf that include image to put directly inside sheet file at excel file . Do we have method to do that inside FME workbench ? or is there a method by using python in workbench to do that?thanks in advance .FME 2018

I have a line that I try to divide in smaller parts of 5 m each. The line is is from a shapefile. When I try to use the chopper it divides the line in random parts, varying in length from 7 to 113 meter, but in not a single case in 5 meter. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug in the transformer?Hope someone can help.

Hi, I'm currently trying to create a line between my lines. As you see in the image, I would like to create a line in the middle of the lines that respect the angle of that group. I've tried to select the longer line of the group and move it to the center point of the group with the offsetter, but it only "offset" the line and not move to the specify coordinate. Thank you in advance

Hi I want to know why this happens so I can correct it in the feature. I attached the example file "Excel" containing only one row so you can test for yourselfs.  In Excel both coordinates have comma. When I use Excel Reader in FME it changes only attribute value for attribute aa to a dot. But for bb its still a comma.This is maybe why I cant create a point using vertex creator, even tho I use string-replacer to change both values to dot or comma it refuses to create a point. This happens fairly often so It would be nice to know what cause this issue and how I can solve it. It might be a bug or something to do with Excel. If I create a new excel file and manually enter every value then it suddenly works. But this is not something I can do with an Excel containing thousands of rows. Iam using Fme 2020.2.5.0 Build 20827 - WIN64

I have a workspace that's reading in some data and I've added a counter after it. The Counter is giving me some valid count numbers, but a lot of the attribute are a weird string like this: `@Value(__fme_ft_return_valuebbc4ad18-5750-4f14-a514-caca849d5cc2)'

I would like to remove the scrollbar from the FME Server App website. To achieve such action I need to edit FME Server App HTML and CSS code. Is this even possible?
