Hi guys, I'm struggling with getting coordinate system information in my GEOJSON file. Hi FME UsersI'm reading a Revit-Drawing and try to extract the coordinates of the "Part 0" in the IFMEAggregate (IFME Line). I use a "GeometryPropertyExposer" with the settings shown in the screenshot. Hi,  I know the ExcelStyler is in beta but here goes the question anyway. Is it possible to style individual cells based on the attribute value?  I have tried different approaches that all color the entire row or entire colum as you see below. Result if I filter through a tester and chose to style attribute "c".   Result if any of the attributes fail the tester, the entire row is colored.  This is what I need, to style individual cells based on their value   Thanks!  /Jacob

I don't know how to proceed and would like to avoid manipulating the source data manually to get it to do what I want. I've received data which is formatted in the following manner. Hi list.I'm attempting to run our FME server under a domain account, but can't seem to get it right.I've read the admin guide and done the followingprovided full file access to C:\\Program Files\\FMEServer and C:\\ProgramData\\Safe Software\\FME Server (using default folders in installation) to the domain account.Stopped the three services (appserver, core, engines), but left database service running.Changed logon on the three stopped services.Deleted the log files from C:\\ProgramData\\Safe Software\\FME Server\\resources\\logs\\engine\\currentRestarted the three services.But now the web interface fails, saying it cannot access Core services.I'm sure that I need to do something more, but I'm at a loss about what it is. I've re-read the admin guide, but cannot find anything amiss.Please help.Cheers

I have a CSV with data exported from an old program.  It created two columns.  The first column contains field names and the second contains the values.  It looks a bit like this:FirstName, PaulLastName, SmithBirthdate, 1/1/2020CellPhone, 123-456-789FirstName, MaryLastName,SmithCellPhone, 123-555-1212Each group starts with "FirstName", but each person in the data does not necessarily have data for each of the fields.  (e.g., Mary Smith doesn't have a birthday in the system).  I can use a duplicate filter to get a list of all potential fieldnames, but how do I do the next step?  I want to create a table that has all the data for each person in the list.   In the simplified example, two rows would result.

I have a number of shapefiles which I want to translate to Geopackage.However I want the original shapefile name intact. So just a one on one batch shapefile to geopackage translation I thought that the FME Quicktranslator app would be handy in this situation, however, it asks me to specify a database connection, even though I want all the individually translated shapefiles as separate .GPKG files in a destination folder. In FME Workbench, a specific filename is also required to translate shapefiles into, and there is no way (as far as I can tell) to let this be a dynamic name based on the fme_basename attribute. Note that I do not want to have a single geopackage file with all the shapefiles combined in it. How do I do this? Thanks for your time. 

What is the best management practice for setting attribute data types prior to writers, preferably at the reader? My specific issue de jour is an attribute (data e.g. 1023, 1034, 1002.1) that is reading in as real32 but indeed they need to be strings for my use case. A custom python transformer (type casting to strings) changes the values to strings '1023.0', '1034.0', '1002.1', due to real32 initial type, which won't work. Hi all, I have a list of JSON historical file which contains date and time at the end of the URL. I would like to extract both date and time based on the URL and put it in the table. I've extracted the date and time using the DateTimeStamper, but fails as it only generate current date and time. Is there any suggestions on how can I extract the date and time from the URL?

 I know how to do it with a workspace and HTTPCaller and with the Rest API but I would like to know if it is possible directly through the external action : "Make an HTTP request" and if so how.Thanks!

Hi all,I have a workspace, where I am detecting the hange between my original data in an SDE and revised data coming from a public source.  I'm using the fme_db_operation to push Inserts, Updates and Deletes to my SDE. However it apparantly just keeps adding the data as duplicates.  I have 6 exactly same polygons for each feature, with the only difference being a Version ID... Any thoughts?

Is is possible to expose a shapefile's FID field?Shapefile readers do not list it and I can't find how to expose it.I need to store that field's value in a control field to keep track of the original features.

Hi,I imported a .DWG file with 2500 area features and want to assign them a colour to get, lets say, grey areas. I found this article and tried to apply this solution with the DWG styler in FME Desktop 2021. However, only my lines get the chosen colour, the areas remain the same without any colour. See attached my DWG Styler settings and a screenshot of my dataset. Any ideas? Current output:DWG Styler:

Dear smarter people than me -I have a cad files with layers that start with either A- or C- and then one basemap layer called Mad_PARCELS. In my reader I only want to read the A- and C- layers. How would I query this out in the Merge feature type using regular expression. Or how do you combing two wildcard expressions? I can't really find any good documentation on regular expression examples. TIA

I am trying to update an ESRI SDE database with data from an ESRI GDB. The matching key between the two datasets is GlobalID. I use an ArcSDE writer and FME 2019.1.Settings in the Writer:When I try to update or delete data in the SDE, I get an error like the following:No rows matched UPDATE query to table/feature class 'XXX' where upper(GlobalID) = N'{C1BD1C13-4C4F-4C05-B3D8-F051F7B0A33F}'The GlobalIDs do exist in the SDE database! I have checked this multiple times.I can update data between two GDBs with the exact same data without problems, so I suspect there is something in the way GlobalIDs is read in GDB vs. SDE databases that do not match. I have tried adding/deleting the brackets {} on the input data using AttributeTrimmer with no luck. The "N" before the GlobalID in the message is not present in the data, and I have no idea why it shows up here.

I'm trying to read data from attribute enabled feature classes, but FME is defaulting to using my ArcGIS 64bit background geoprocessing installation to read the data, instead of my arcpro installation. This is solved by un-installing 64bit background geoprocessing, which means FME can only find the arcpro installation, which it then uses and reads the data. Is it possible to tell FME which to use manually, so background geoprocessing does not need to be un-installed?

Hello, I am having difficulty getting the SHAPE field in Oracle to populate correctly. Features are 3D in FME, but the features SHAPE in Oracle are displaying as 2D not 3D after FME translation. How can I resolve this?

A customer defined a project in SoapUI. In the documentation, everything is explained to setup the connection to a keystore, using a password for the JKS certificate. This works well in SoapUI. Does anyone have experience with setting up this keystore in FME? How can I setup this web connection?
