I am trying to go from this: to this:Where "Current Weather" is the first "validTime" record and "Next 24 hrs" is the second "validTime" record. I messed around with the concept in excel and came up with the following which might work but can't seem to replicate it in FME: I've played with the AttributePivoter, StatisticsCalculator, AttributeExploder, and others and just can't seem to alter the table to something similar to what is shown above. The idea would be to go from reading in arcgis server service features and write out to an html table (or maybe something else) which would look like (or similar to) the above table. Any ideas are greatly appreciated!  

Hi.I'm trying to find the nearest polygon (city polygon) to a set of points (border posts).And I tried out the neighborfinder transformer. It seems to work fine except that it doesn't add the attributes of the nearest polygon to the point feature.What am I missing ?

Unfortunately, the source data can't be obtained as one package. Instead it can only be retrieved through individual SOAP calls. As such, the workflow obtains a dynamically generated list of relevant ID numbers retrieved through an initial GET request and then uses those ID numbers to construct the respective URLs for the individual GET requests, which obtain the data that I need (but it stores the XML retrieved through each GET request as a separate record/attribute). The workflow is for a regular batch update process using the externally sourced data to update my data.

I have an excel spreadsheet where the attribute name changes based on a formula, every time we fill in an X in line 2 the attribute has the same name, but the number can change to 1,2,3 and 4. I created a reading dynamic, but when for example the COD_STREET = 0 in the dynamic FME reader keeps showing COD_GATE = 4 in one of the attributes, what am I doing wrong? attachment follows the spreadsheet

I have a workspace which merges several Shapefiles. The filenames/locations are handed over as parameters and the workspace is called through a batch file. How can I accomodate cases where some of the input files are not present? There is no interaction between the missing Shapefiles and the other ones in the workspace, they just get written to a common destination.

I am looking for a method to remove the outcrops, circled in blue, from the building fotprints below. The generalization algorithms I have tried "soften" the polygons to much and make them look a bit organic. I would like to keep 90 degree corners as much as possible so that the viewer quickly can identity the shape as a building. It might require a different process but I would also greatly appreciate suggestions on how to fill out the "jagged" corners circled in red. Cheers! 

The extents of the shapefile bounding box are -100 (left) and 100 (right) and -200 (bottom) and 200 (top). Since there is no prj I don't know the units, but I do I know the shapefile is supposed to be a UTM 12 north map projection and I know all the other CRS parameters (so I am able to create the correct prj for the shapefile). In addition to this, I know the x-offset and y-offset and scale values that must be applied to the shapefile. My question: how do I apply the offset and scale to the shapefile? I believe these offset and scale values were derived when the file was converted from CAD. Thanks!

In TestFilter, is there a trick to allow specifying the list index range in the Test Clause?e.g., _list{[0-2]}.fruit = 'Apple'rather than specifying each element index to test for individually:_list{0}.fruit = 'Apple'AND _list{1}.fruit = 'Apple'AND _list{2}.fruit = 'Apple'without going into PythonCaller way?

I am trying to read in multiple files from a folder at once which contain a specific text string in the title and not any files that don't contain that string. I want it to be dynamic, such that if the files in the folder change, the reader will update as I want to put this at the start of a workflow which will put all the features from each individual source file into a single file and perform some transformations with that data. I have managed to figure out making a reader that looks at a folder and all its sub folders, but it reads in all the files in the folder, some of which I don't need/want. Is there a way I can apply a search filter to the reader so it only brings in files that have certain terms in the title?

Hello,I wish to generate a count of points within Polygons [PointOnAreaOverlayer] but I am unable to generate a count for some polygons because of fme_rejection_code: INVALID_POLYGON_GEOMETRY_TYPEThese Polygons are either Self Intersecting or Multi Polygons. I believe I need to resolve this before I can start counting points inside but Aggregator and Geometry Validator do not seem to fix the issue.Thanks. 

I am new to FME Desktop and experimenting with downloading a feature from a Map Service hosted on an ESRI ArcGIS server. Is there a way to enable the "return_true_curves=True" when downloading the feature to a local FGDB. I have everything working using a Reader pointed to the map service; however, FME is converting the true curves to simple curves when reading or writing the data. I am able to download the feature using a query and the ArcGIS REST API in python to get a feature with two point curves to a FGDB. Would like to do this directly in FME.

Hi how to avoid to repeat 3 days of data read after a translation failed? Seems the temporary folder run out of space. Can I swap the temporary location and restart the process from certain point instead of starting again from the begin? Alex

I am running a workspace that detects changes in data between an API and Web App and applies only updates to the Web App using a change detector transformer. I am sending a notification to a Slack Webhook but instead of a single HTTP request being made, it makes 1 request for each data record updated. What I Want:"Successfully updated 70 records". What is Happening:"Successfully updated 1 records"."Successfully updated 2 records".And so on till 70... Is there a transformer that will allow me to sum the number of updated records and only send a single HTTP request to the Slack Webhook? Workbench Screenshot: Thanks!

I've got a HTTPCaller in a loop that retrieves data page by page (I use offset and limit). I have a tester that tests whether 'has_last_page' is true. This all seems to works ok but the translation does not stop - it just keeps repeating the last URL even though all records have been returned.

This morning all of my FME workbenches failed to open and I get an exception breakpoint application error. It says (0x8000000003) occurred in the application at location 0x00007FFAB8D6293. The only option is to terminate the program. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You. 

Hi All, i have been banging my head against this for a while. Im trying to parse an api call response I get ( XML returned) . I have tried Flattening it. I have tried Fragmenting it, I have tried swearing at it. None of the things I have tried have worked. I don't really understand how this data is structured. Its nested I think, with something like tuples??? there is a Name, Number and Text for each attribute?? Any help or direction appreciated. Happy to learn. I'm trying to return the "number" value of NZTM 2000 Northing and NZTM 2000 Easting as attributes... Many Thanks for your suggestions.

I am running workbench an FME Server automation that is fired from a SQL Server insert trigger for a ArcGIS feature class that has editor tracking enabled. On the workbench I check previous records for the feature and only want the workbench to complete under specific conditions - it is writing an HTML file. I was considering using the NULL writer but the documentation indicates this should only be used for testing. Looking for the best way to accomplish this. I considered modifying the trigger but this is so involved and much easier and cleaner to do in FME... Any tips would be appreciated.Thanks!

Hello,I am trying to obtain Max OBJECTID value from a database and pass it into Variable Setter.The SQL Creator > Variable Setter is obtaining the correct value (just one record at present) but the Variable Retriever cannot obtain the value I think?I hope this is a simple step or order I am missing.Thanks in advance

I'm copying PDF files from a source folder to a destination folder. The destination folder is named with today's date (.../outgoing/October-11-2021/).I used the AttributeCreator to create and format the date attribute called "Date_today" and set filecopy_dest_dataset to "Date_today".This all works well, the PDF's are copied into the date folder, however, I also get another empty date folder created in the folder that the workbench is in.Fanout is off. Any ideas how I can stop this extra folder being created?
