Hi! I'm trying to download a .zip-file using HTTPCaller. The zip-file is accessed via API by an order number generated when I placed the order for the data.  The response body looks like this: [{"href":"https://download-geotorget.lantmateriet.se/download/99d120aa-9532-43a9-a5a7-6128b333bc88/files/root/anlaggningsomrade_kn0125.zip?q=_9yzl22V_4v728pM........"}] (shortened down, was way to long to post here).  The 'anlaggningsomrade_kn0125.zip' is what I'm after. Is this possible? Any help is much appreciated 🙂   

Hi !I have an xls file with 2 columns. One contains a code and the other contains numerics values. I would like to create an attribute that group my data when there are a break on the values and group by code. For example : code valuea 1 => group 1a 2 => group 1a 3 => group 1a 10 => group 2a 11 => group 2b 1 => group 3b 2 => group 3 I saw "AttributeRangeMapper" but I have to indicate the bounds. In my case I would like that the bounds are create automatically because my datas change every time.My values can be integer or decimal. Thanks ! 

Hi friends, I have an ESRI filegeodatabase with 3D multipatches. I want to cut out areas there. I have tried this with the clipper, but no result. Not only that, but I also tried extruding the clip extension. But also without result. Does anyone know the best way to clip this? Thanks!

Though both the schemamapper and a pythoncaller can accomplish to create, map and 'remove' attributes, the newly mapped attributes are hidden and the removed attributes are still exposed (with only missing values). When I write this to excel I get empty columns but the columns are still created. I don't want to use the hide attributes option in the pythoncaller; I want the attributes to be written and not written to be dependent on a list I read from another file.

So I want to delete the duplicates, or find the distinct combinations across two columns.I know I can do that with SQL on a database. But I just have a table here and want to do that directly in my FME script. Does someone has an idea?

Hi,I'm downloading a bunch of text files from an FTP server and the contents of each file is stored in an attribute. The format of a text file is as follows : Station1;2022-04-12;09:00;Var1;True;30.4;Var2;True;0.5;Var3;False;0.0;Station2;2022-04-12;08:00;Var1;True;33.4;Var2;True;0.5;Var4;True;10.3;Station3;2022-04-12;09:00;Var1;True;27.4;Var3;True;0.5; What I would like to do is transform this text to a table as in the attached screenshot, but I have not found any easy way to do it in FME. Would you have any suggestions? Thanks! 

I'm having a few issues with the ESRI ArcGIS Portal Feature Service Writer (using the FeatureWriter). I'm writing to a known ESRI Feature Service using Branch Versioning, and I'm creating a new branch to make the edits in. Using FME Desktop 2021.0.3 (64 bit), I'm finding I can write the Inserts and the Updates to the service, but not any Deletes? FME is completing successfully, so the ‘call’ seems to be successful, and no errors seem to be returned in FME, but any Deletes just don’t seem to be appearing in the branch. I've checked permissions in ESRI, and the user does have editor permissions (including Deletes), and I've successfully deleted a feature using a Branch in ArcGIS Pro itself. Anybody had a similar issue, and if so, how did you overcome it? Many thanks,

I am trying to create features out of a large json file that has many objects mixed in with arrays. I can almost get what I need by using the following query:json["Domain"]["Classifications"][*]Unfortunately, it leaves out a crucial attribute. Here is a screenshot of the json file where it has me stumped:Here is a link to the entire file.The attribute underlined in red is what I am looking for. There are hundreds of them at this level, all differently named. I have not yet found an example of this schema type, with hashes within a hash. In addition, the schema is not uniform. I can get to where it will separate the "Psets" attribute into features, but the "IfcActuator" level does not come through unless it is all in one big feature. A serious security alert (CVE-2022-21724) was announced for the PostgreSQL JDBC driver on February 2, 2022. We need to upgrade PostgresSQL JDBC driver to 42.2.25 and above to remediate it.  We have identified total 4 PostgresSQL JDBC drivers in FME Server and FME Desktop:[FME Server Root]\\Utilities\\tomcat\\lib\\postgresql-42.2.24.jar[FME Server Root]\\Utilities\\jdbc\\postgresql-42.2.24.jar[FME Server Root]\\Server\\fme\\plugins\\postgresql-42.2.16.jar[FME Desktop Root]\\FME\\plugins\\postgresql-42.2.16.jar Is there any patch available to remediate this vulnerability in those products? Or can we just replace those drivers with the required version?

I have a process where I determine the last ID number used for two id fields using statistics calculator. I then use an aggregator to merge the two ID's. I then bring about 100 records from another table and am wanting to add these ID's to it. But what is happening is that the two ID's are just being added as another record instead. I have tried using variable setter & retriever but those didn't work at all.

Hello Sir / Madam, So I would like to subtract both "Top Height" and "Rooflevel" attributes. I use attribute manager to calculate the value@round(@abs(@Value(TopHeight)-@Value(ROOFLEVEL)),1) The result is shown as below.However, I want my result to be <null> if either TopHeight or Rooflevel is <null>. I have a 2016 workspace that I'm upgrading to 2021.2.5. The basic workflow is SQLExecutor -> GeometryReplacer -> Clipper with an AOI -> FileGDB.What comes out of the DB is the geodb_type which helps to determine features get routed either the polyline or annotation feature class. GeometryReplacer is used to convert from WKT so that features can be clipped with the AOI. From SQLExecutor, geodb_type has values (geodb_polyline, geodb_arc, geodb_annotation), but when it comes out of GeometryReplacer, geodb_type values are all missing. So after clipping, everything gets routed to the polyline fc, which will produce this error: "Cannot write a non-linear feature to a polyline feature class." [geometryreplacer_geodb_type.png] My workaround is to use GeometryFilter to route the features + a new AttributeCreator to hard-code geodb_type values to ensure the right features are created in FileGDB, rather than rely on geodb_type values. I am reading a record from a SDE geodatabase and using that record to create a new record. What is happening though is that it is just overwriting the old record. I need to have two records at the end. I select it based on an id and essentially need to make a copy of the record and then overwrite some of the values. Any idea of how I can do that?

I would like to see if a value from a specified column/attribute can be counted into another column based on how many times it appears across multiple columns. I hope to do this for every feature/row of a dataset. Example of the data below : In this case, I would like specify the value in the DominantValue field, and I would like to see how many times this value appears in fields: AreaCount1, AreaCount2, AreaCount3, AreaCount4, Areacount5, and AreaCount6. The number of times it appears would be stored in a field called dvcounter. For example the desired output would look something like the below table: Does anyone have any recommendations as to what transformers or workflows can provide this "count" field? Hello, newbie here. I'm using AttributeManager to rename and remove some Attributes - and to add a new Attribute using a Conditional Value based upon (among others) an Attribute named IATA, which contains airport call letters. For San Francisco International Airport, IATA contains "SFO" but for Nadi International Airport, the IATA Attribute contains "NAN". No matter how I try to force FME to treat those call letters as a string, it eventually becomes "if NAN != null... and I get "nan" as the result. Pretty sure that's a bug (2019.2). Note: Set Value with @Value(IATA) works fine with "NAN". It seems to be only the Conditional Value code that has the problem. Does anyone have an idea how to conditionally process an Attribute that may contain the value "NAN" (or other values that might also be mathematical constants)?

Is it possible to get an additional attribute from a las file in FME. Indeed I have an input point cloud in las format with a vertical distance attribute on each point.I need this attribute to make statistics.How to get this attribute directly when reading the las file (or other) without passing "PointCloudCoercer"?

Hi,Does anybody have any experience writing GDB metadata images into SDE?I can update just about anything but inserting an image to the item description needs to be in a specific ESRI binary format (EsriPropertyType="PictureX") and the AttributeFileReader transformer does not support this encoding type. Cheers, Itay

I'm using an ArcGIS Feature reader to read a layer with two tables. The two tables have 9257 and 9606 rows. After reading the two tables, I join them. At this point (with feature caching) I can see that I have 9606 rows. This is correct. The last step of the workspace is to use an ArcGIS Feature writer to populate a different layer.  The ArcGIS Feature Writer has the following Parameters for Layer: Writer Mode: Insert Truncate First: Yes Currently, my destination Feature layer has 10584 rows. How could this be? How can I exceed the number of rows in my source layer? I just ran the workspace up to the Writer and can see 9606 items going into the Feature Writer. then, I ran the entire workspace and the destination layer now has 9752 rows. I'm perplexed. This is a public facing dashboard and I need accuracy. I do run this workspace from a batch file and schedule it to run at 3:00 AM with Windows Task Scheduler. A few years ago I created a FME-hub custom transformer InlineGeoJSON. It creates a GeoJSON file with FeatureCollections. The transformer works fine in fme 2020, but does not work in versions starting from FME 2021. This has something to do with the dynamic schema setup. The current error is:  GEOJSON writer: Unknown feature type 'GeoJSON' passed to the JSON writerInlineGeoJSON_FeatureMerger (ReferenceFactory): GEOJSON writer: Unknown feature type 'GeoJSON' passed to the JSON writer I tried many different solutions, for example:replacing the schemasetter with the new schemascannerchanging the schema definition namechanging the feature type nameI added my workspace with the current test workspace. In what way can I control the behaviour of SqlExecutor concerning transactions. I'd like to perform several inserts and updates as a single transaction (by putting the "commit"-command at the end). But this commit always results in the warning "there is no transaction in progress".Database = PostgreSQL

GDAL has a pretty handy proximity calculator where each pixel in the output raster represents the distance to the nearest pixel in the input raster. For instance, distance to the nearest road. Is there any transformer doing that in FME ? Thanks!
