Is it possible to use one a basemap with the MapnikRasterizer similar to the way you can use it in the HTMLReportGenerator

I've scoured the help pages and cannot seem to find the answer. I don't want to just copy and paste my python script in to the Startup Python script, I want to actually run the file and config file from FME. Is this possible?

I am currently importing a dgn file into FME and I am trying to filter the cells based on the following attributes igds_cell_name and igds_cell_insertion_x/y/z . With the AttributeFilter one is able to filter based on one attribute, however I would thus like to filter based on the above mentioned 4 attributes , so I can aggregate afterwards the cells that have the same value for the above mentioned attributes. Does anyone know how I might be able to achieve that. I wouldn't want to make use of a TestFilter, since with a TestFilter you have to write manually out all the possible values with AND clauses. That would be too much work for me.

HiI have a workbench published as a download service and i can run it from the address bar in my browser using... http://<server>//fmedatadownload/<repository>/<Workbench>.fmw?--TIMESERIES%20%22OP%22where the parameter --TIMESERIES "OP" is as specified in the FMW. however this parameter is ignored it appears.I eventually want to run this from the HTTPCaller and there I can't seem to avoid getting "=" between the name and value which again is ignored. So, i guess the questions is how do I translate workbench parameters to add to the url string?

I have a table of linear sections, each with a unique SectionID. Each section has From XYs, and To XYs. There is anywhere from 1 to N points between from and to, depending on the section.  Right now, each row represents one of these "in-between" points, with a SequencenNumber attribute saying what order they appear in.  My goal is to create 2 additional rows per SectionID. One that is sequence 0, and populates the regular X and Y fields with the From XY values. Another that is sequence N, where N is the highest occuring sequence number, plus 1, that populates the regular X and Y fields with the To XY values. I can re-order them afterwards with Sorter if need be, but they need to be in order both by sectionID and sequentially so that LineBuilder draws them properly. I know I can group by SectionID in LineBuilder as well.  I'm a bit of an FME noob, so any help would be appreciated! I really can't think of what transformer or workflow to use to make this happen!

I have an attribute that contains a string with 1 or more comma separated integers. The range of integers is 1 to 13. Here are some example values:102,3,57,8,9,103,25,6I need to replace each integer with a text value that I've looked up from a table such as an Excel file. I know how to use the DatabaseJoiner to look up values, but I'm not sure how to process a list of lookup values. Ideally, I'd like to sort the integers before looking up the text values. For example, "3,2" would be "2,3" before the lookup. I'd also like the option of separating the text values with a new line character instead of comma. Is what I'm trying to do possible with FME Desktop?

Hello! I have not been able to figure out to generate polygons from the roads that are of intresest. What I need to do is to generate a polygon from all points that are within 3000 meters from "from_point". That park work fine. But when I try to genereate the surface it doesnt follow the lines good enought. It's to generalized. Please se the PDF to see what I mean.  How do I generation the surface so they follow my routing better? For this task is very important because the roads are filtered only to use safe roads to my target group. With the results I get now from hullaccumulator sometimes points will be inside the polygon even tough they should not be.  Only the points that has 3000 meters or less should be included in the surface. Can anyone help me? Best regardsJesper

 I tried with the transformer "substringextractor" but I remove the "1" from my thousandth when there is no comma at the beginning.  I saw that there was a transformer "LastSectionOfStringRemover", maybe it exists for the beginning?

I have to read several shapefiles that are in a second level zipped file. As an example:C:\\compressed1.zip \\compressed2.zip\\ layer.shp I get to reach the first level but when I try to reach the second level, FME gives me failures.Any idea? Thank you very much

Hello, Is it possible to get the FME JOB ID from inside the currently running workspace? I have a database that should be updated multiple times during a workspaces run. I would like to update this database from within the workspace itself, but one of the parameters I need is the the FME job id and I cant seem to find a way to get it from within the workspace. Thanks,Samuel

I have a date being read in from a SDE geodatabase. It is in M/D/YYYY. I have the user input a year. I want to test it against the year in the table and only select the years that match. Is it possible to parse out the year in the tester or do I have to add in a DateTimeConverter Transformer to change the format?

How do you enable "Resources" tab within workspace application?If I run my workspace in FME Server and want to input source file > Browse Resources.I get the Resources tab (highlighted in Yellow)I have created a workspace application and when you select > Browse Resources. I don't get the "Resources" tab in the application? I'm pretty sure it probably has something to do with how the Resources are shared in FME Server, I have pretty much shared I believe out to everyone in FME Server. Example of resource sharing below: Pretty new to FME Server so I'm sure it is a very easy change.Thanks in advanceBrendan

Trying this workspace, I get an error saying 'owner' feature type does not exist. The FeatureWriter output format is SpatiaLite and a template.sqlite database is used. For both feature types "Use existing" table handling is selected. Parcel geometry type is wkb_polygon and owner is wkb_none. The 'owner' table exists in the template. Could it be a FeatureWriter error managing SpatiaLite?  

I have set up job routing rules and I want to test that the routing rule is working fine. I have added CPU%, Memory Peak Usage, and Queue in Display Column on the grid, but there seems to be a lack of functionality on the grid or I am missing something basic.  Usecase: I want to see all the jobs which finish within 2 mins, use < 20% CPU, use <2GB memory. and want to make sure they all were assigned Micro queue. -> I am trying to filter by queue but filtering by queue is not an option.-> Grid is configurable to hide and show columns, but I can't sort by columns or add any kind of calculated field in the grid.  Is there any easy way to export this data to excel? I tried dashboards but they don't have the fields I am looking for, maybe if someone who understands the database schema of the FME server can guide us I can get help from our FME Author to adjust the workspace/dashboard to include these extra fields & filters to make administration little bit easy. I am o

 In my workbench I have a WKT that I send (using HTTPCaller POST) to an API. The API then runs a background model and I need to use a HTTPCaller GET to retrieve the json results via the same API. The model can take anywhere from 5 seconds to 3 minutes to run. When the model is still processing it returns a '202' status code and when it completes successfully with a '200' code. Right now, I have various decelerators, however, this slows down the entire workspace, I would like have the HTTPCaller wait or check for a 200 response and continue the rest of the workbench immediately.

I have about 2000 line segments that need to be aggregated based on a specific field. First I sort them based on the order they are supposed to be merged in, then I aggregate them if there's more than 1 segment. This results in about 1100 multipart polylines (not all of them are multipart, and some are just made of 1 segment, but others can be made of up to 12 segments).  This works really well for my output data, and the lines are all merged correctly. However, at a closer look, my elevation profiles don't make sense. It appears that even though the segments are in the correct order, some of the segments have a different orientation of their neighboring segment, i.e. one is going North to South, and the next is going South to North. Hopefully the attached diagram can help illustrate this.   I've tried many different transformers to try and fix this without updating the underlying dataset, but I'm not sure if there's a way to fix this in FME? Hi,I have polygon data of different lots of land from a city. The goal is to figure out if any two polygons together are bigger than a predefined value. That means I need to merge two adjacent polygons together, test their size and repeat that process with all other adjacent polygons. (Let's say a lot has 6 neighbours, that means I need to check 6 different combinations) This need to be repeated over the whole dataset (around 5000 polygons).The problem is I don't know how to merge the polygons individually. I tried different methods with NeighborFinder, SpatialFilter, etc. but none of them yielded the results I needed.Thanks for any input!F

Do Cached Values not work in the Tester in Workbench 2019.1? I have 'enable feature caching' on and I see the values for inspection with each step, but when I add a Tester with an attribute I don't see the option 'Cached Values' or 'Select value'.

I would like some advice on setting up a workbench that could retrieve the number of interior angles in a polygon that are classed as concave (i.e. >180 degrees). So far I have the following:run my polygon featureclass through the 'convexity filter' to obtain only concave polygons. I then use the 'Orientor' to assign the right hand rule before passing it through the 'VertexAngleCalculator'. I then use a tester to filter those angle that are negative (i.e. concave).Use 'statistics calculator grouped by original polygon UID to get the total count of features.merge these attributes with the original feature class. This works fine as long as the first/last vertex in the polygon is not a concave angle. This is because the 'VertexAngleCalculator' returns a value of '0' for the start/end vertex - and therefore cannot be classified.  Unless there is a simpler way to obtain all interior angles for each polygon, my thoughts would be to re-run the pr

I have a scenario where I have a HTML report generator, it saved the report on a local disk. Once this HTML report is saved I then wish to send an email with the HTML report as an attachment, but as the Writer doesn't have an output port, I cannot trigger the emailer this way. How do I tell the emailer to run once the Writer has finished?
