Hello Sir / Madam,​I have many files (more than a hundred of files in .json format - text). I would like to extract certain text from each of the .json files and put all the text in a single text / csv file for further study.​I am just wondering if it is possible to do it on FME? Or what transformer I would use?​Here is what I really want to get for my report.​File name; errors number (spacing for "no error"; it could even better if I can output "no error" instead of spacing)​Output sample as follow:banana_report.json;102;203;204;303;305;306;307;a_report.json; ;​My .json file sample is uploaded for your reference. Im a very beginner with FME. I've a polygon (gpkg) file, which has several attr. columns. 3 of these column contents should be under one column. I prob. need to create new column where to put contents of these 3 separate columns, right? How? Thanks!

I'm attempting to transform the input Rain Gauge data set to the desired output as shown in the above inserted image but I'm at a loss on how to proceed? The important factors are:The time period is defined by the user, in this example 01/01/2022 - 10/01/2022 and the output table needs to include all days in that range.The input Rain Gauge data only contains data for when it rained so not all dates are included.I need to some how produce a column per Rain Gauge reference, then look up the associated rain fall value for each of the days and populate the new table structure.The number of rain gauges can vary. I have completed the process of creating a list of all dates for the requested time period. I can't begin to fathom how to manipulate the data as shown and explained above.If completing this in Excel I would have created a pivot to produce the table below:  Any help will be gratefully received! Thank you.

I am having problem writing attributes with swedish characters (åäö) to a mssql table.The characters get replaced by other strange characters instead. I am using FME Desktop 2022.0.0.2 build 22343.The database is set up with collation Finnish_Swedish_CI_AS as it should be.Other programs such as QGis is writing åäö to the table correctly.Is there some kind of setting that I need to do in FME or is this a bug?

Hi list.I'm trying out the new version 2022.0 of FME Server, and is looking at handling engine assignments.I imported a backup from our normal production server (2020.2), and it created all my queues, and matched these with the engines on the old server (though I had to redo this part due to the wrong naming).But the coupling of jobs and engines is rather different in 2022 from 2020.One thing that puzzles me, is that the restore created some "properties" for each engine, but I cannot find these anywhere in the interface. E.g. properties "22434", "WIN64" and "FME-SERVER003_Engine1" (see picture below).What are the purpose of these properties, and how can you use them ?And how can you delete them, if you don't want them ?Cheers

I want to be able to present the user with a single input option that will accept either a shapefile or an FGDB feature class. It doesn't seem possible to me because: the generic reader doesn't seem to allow you select an FGDBI can't have a shapefile reader and an FGDB reader in my workspace, but only use one Am I really going to have to create 2 workspace apps, one that processes shapefiles and one that processes FGDB feature classes? FME Desktop 2021.2 and FME Server 2021.2.

Hello! FME newbie here 👋 I have 100+ Excel workbooks, each of which has 2-4 worksheets in them. To prep to do some schema mapping, I'd like to read out all of the attribute names to a new spreadsheet (Excel or CSV, doesn't matter). Could anyone give me some guidance on how to do this? Hello,I would like to make an FME Server app which allows the user to download data from Resources folder from FME Server (these files are html files generated by another automation).Now, in my workspace I am using "Directory and Files pathnames" to get the path to all these .html files located in different folders. I see that the data is written correctly when used or when I see SQL Developer, when showing that a resource is not designed by ArcGIS, but it shows that a resource is not designed correctly and does not open in ArcGIS, what will be done?   Thank´s

I'm looking for the FME transformator equivalent to QGIS Minimum Bounding Geometry in order to extract the orientation (azimuth) of the feature shape. This topic is not relevant as it refers only to hull because the concern is about the angle of bounding rectangle, i.e. main direction of the geometry (polygon).

Hello there we are using the staticImageFeatcher transformer in order to get a satellite image that fit the bounding box of vector the bounding box changes based on each vector's data is there any way to extract the right value for the  Height/width in the image to set the parameter of the staticMapfetcher dynamic? Thanks 

I am using FME 2021.2 with a PostGIS reader and an XML Templater and XML Formatter to write an XML output file. This works fine, but the coordinate X/Y output appears in scientific notation as below: <Vertex>  <X>2.010340655257836E6</X>  <Y>6.7378739141772166E6</Y> </Vertex>I have tried all kinds of different things, however I can't get FME to format the output they way I want it like below:    <Vertex>      <X>2010340.655257836</X>      <Y>6737873.914177217</Y>    </Vertex>This code fragment in the XML Templater works:<Vertex> <X>{geom:get-x-coord()}</X> <Y>{geom:get-y-coord()}</Y></Vertex>This does not:<Vertex> { let $l := geom:get-x-coord() let $r := @Format(%.2f,$l) return $r }</Vertex>I can't figure out how to pass the X value above into the format function, or find another workaround.

I have a centerline for a river (2d) and some nearby measurement (3d-points). I want to single create a 3d line that takes the z-values from point within a distance of 100m. So far I tried chopping up the line using the pointOnLine-overlayer, but I can't transfer the z-values nor relevant attributes. I tried several approaches, like deconstructing the line into points, but I feel I am missing something crucial. Does anyone have a solution or some advice?

I am trying to export an Esri geodatabase as ifc using some of the transformers provided in a tutorial for DWG to ifc but I end up with ifc file that has no geometry stored.
