merge 2 building parts without connecting line?

Hello, we have several 3D buildings that need to be extended downwards. That's why we applied the extruder in conjunction with the terrain model. After that we aggregated the two parts (aggregator). However, then when we turn on the contours, there is the undesirable effect that there is a line between the 3D building and the extruder building part. (see example, highlighted in yellow) How can we remove this line?Or is there another way to extend the buildings downwards?

HTTPCaller Fail with Waze Partner Hub API

We're trying to tap into the Waze's partner hub Traffic Data using their GeoRSS XML feed. The feed downloads fine in Chrome and Postman.It's a simple GET request. But I get the following error in the log. "HTTP transfer error: Unrecognized or bad HTTP Content or Transfer-Encoding" When tested in Curl I had to include the ssl-no-revoke argument to allow it to download (might be caused by our funky certificate store). "The revocation function was unable to check revocation for the certificate." I have "Verify SSL Certificates" set to No in the HttpCaller. Any ideas? Is it related to the ssl-no-revoke?

I've realized that we can include a template to MS-Word writer (docx). However it seems it only captures formatting from the template. Is there any way that I can populate specific Bookmarks/Content Controls based on their title/tag names with attributes?

Hi All, I have encounered a strange behavior with XML Flattener. It skips some values in XML.

I have flatten xml file, and some data are missed. For example Свободная ёмкость — 627 млн.м3 11 it should be 627 млн.м, but it skipped and only values 3 and 11 are in place. In xml ex1 i have highlighted items which are missed in xml example.png. Also attached workbench.

Notifications - how to run a workspace on FME Server 2018 using parameter from Directory Watch

I have a directory watch on a network folder and I can successfully trigger the subscription by adding a file to that folder. I can see that the workspace is triggered as well. However, what I'm still trying to figure out is how to pass the path and file name of the zip file placed in it to the workspace. What would the input parameter need to be set as in the workspace? Currently I have it set to a published user parameter with no default value. In the subscription configuration, the "Source Zip File" parameter is set to "Get Value from Topic Message". However, that parameter evaluations to the path of the JSON file created with the topic is published to, not the zip file path. How to target specific subfolder when Upload file using S3Connector transformer?

I've successfully made an S3 Web Connection and can write a file to a specific S3 bucket. I'm not seeing how to send the a file to a specific folder within the bucket using the S3Connector transformer settings. See attached screenshot. I have the Request Action set to "Upload." There are input fields for Bucket and Path. I want to upload a file to my bucket "testBucket" and place the file in a subfolder named "Files" that's in a project specific folder named "$(projectName)." In S3 that's testBucket > $(projectName) folder > Files folder > file.png As it is, the Bucket input has to match the S3 bucket name you are uploading to, but it also creates a new folder with your bucket name, and the Path input creates a subfolder within that bucket. In S3 that's testBucket > testBucket folder > $(projectName) folder > file.png. Any suggestions on how to target testBucket > $(projectName) folder > Files folder

Creating an ID number

I have a FME worbench that is reading an excel file and merging it with data in a SDE geodatabase. For each record in the table I need to create an ID field that consists of a consistent initial 3 letters depending on the company, then a 2 digit year, and then 4 digits. It would need to be unique as well. I would need to find the last 4 digit number used by the company and add one to it.I would then need to put this all together into one ID field attribute. Any ideas of how to do this would be appreciated!

How to take a string (RegEx) within a current attribute and make a new field with it?

I have a string in a attribute. At the end of the string there are brackets containing one or more words. I would like the contents, including the brackets to be put into a new attribute. Ex:Attribute = "cat mouse (cheese crackers)"Desired new attribute = "(cheese crackers)"NOTE: sometimes there is one, two or more words with in the brackets, and I want all of them in the new field. Using a RegEx (\$([\\w]+( [\\w]*)*)\$$) I can select that portion of the string, but I don't know how to put that portion into a new attribute. Currently I have an AttributeCreator with Attribute Value = @FindRegEx(@Value(Attribute),"\$([\\w]+( [\\w]*)*)\$$")but the result is not the string, but numbers. terminate translation if one of the input tables is empty

hello, I have a workspace with 2 tables. these tables are automatically populated. in the translation is a FeatureJoiner (left join) which joins the data from these 2 tables and "moves" it further.. Is it any possibility to stop the translation after running it if one of the input tables is empty(no records)? Thank you Nicu

How can I pull Geometry data (CityGML) from an online database into my FME workspace for an adjustable selection area?

The mentioned database is available under the following url: https://www.opengeodata.nrw.de/produkte/geobasis/3dg/lod2_gml/lod2_gml/ . According to a very brief documentation the database is provided as an ATOM Download-Feed. But unfortunately I don't understand how to handle it in FME and will appreciate any advise. Cannot convert Epoch time to human datetime

I have GeoJason data from USGS site which contains Epoch time such as 1650016756409 or 1649948565590. I tried to read them in either %s$ or %Es% using DateTimeConverter, all failed and cannot convert. I am using FME desktop 2021.2. Please help.

What type of Autocad drawing was used in training that showed road names and other information as attributes. Usually DWG does not have any attribute unless we use AutoCAD Civil 3D etc. I need to tell my AutoCAD staff to provide me CAD data in that same format so I could easily convert the DWG into feature classes with useful attributes directly coming from the source DWG.

I've scoured the help pages and cannot seem to find the answer. I don't want to just copy and paste my python script in to the Startup Python script, I want to actually run the file and config file from FME. Is this possible?

How to filter based on several attributes instead of one attribute?

I am currently importing a dgn file into FME and I am trying to filter the cells based on the following attributes igds_cell_name and igds_cell_insertion_x/y/z . With the AttributeFilter one is able to filter based on one attribute, however I would thus like to filter based on the above mentioned 4 attributes , so I can aggregate afterwards the cells that have the same value for the above mentioned attributes. Does anyone know how I might be able to achieve that. I wouldn't want to make use of a TestFilter, since with a TestFilter you have to write manually out all the possible values with AND clauses. That would be too much work for me.

Guidance on formatting HTTP request to run a download service

HiI have a workbench published as a download service and i can run it from the address bar in my browser using... http://<server>//fmedatadownload/<repository>/<Workbench>.fmw?--TIMESERIES%20%22OP%22where the parameter --TIMESERIES "OP" is as specified in the FMW. however this parameter is ignored it appears.I eventually want to run this from the HTTPCaller and there I can't seem to avoid getting "=" between the name and value which again is ignored. So, i guess the questions is how do I translate workbench parameters to add to the url string?

Create a new row at the beginning of a sequence of points

I have a table of linear sections, each with a unique SectionID. Each section has From XYs, and To XYs. There is anywhere from 1 to N points between from and to, depending on the section. Right now, each row represents one of these "in-between" points, with a SequencenNumber attribute saying what order they appear in. My goal is to create 2 additional rows per SectionID. One that is sequence 0, and populates the regular X and Y fields with the From XY values. Another that is sequence N, where N is the highest occuring sequence number, plus 1, that populates the regular X and Y fields with the To XY values. I can re-order them afterwards with Sorter if need be, but they need to be in order both by sectionID and sequentially so that LineBuilder draws them properly. I know I can group by SectionID in LineBuilder as well. I'm a bit of an FME noob, so any help would be appreciated! I really can't think of what transformer or workflow to use to make this happen!

How to convert integer list to text values?

I have an attribute that contains a string with 1 or more comma separated integers. The range of integers is 1 to 13. Here are some example values:102,3,57,8,9,103,25,6I need to replace each integer with a text value that I've looked up from a table such as an Excel file. I know how to use the DatabaseJoiner to look up values, but I'm not sure how to process a list of lookup values. Ideally, I'd like to sort the integers before looking up the text values. For example, "3,2" would be "2,3" before the lookup. I'd also like the option of separating the text values with a new line character instead of comma. Is what I'm trying to do possible with FME Desktop?

HullAccumulator does not give wanted results with concave or convex

Hello! I have not been able to figure out to generate polygons from the roads that are of intresest. What I need to do is to generate a polygon from all points that are within 3000 meters from "from_point". That park work fine. But when I try to genereate the surface it doesnt follow the lines good enought. It's to generalized. Please se the PDF to see what I mean. How do I generation the surface so they follow my routing better? For this task is very important because the roads are filtered only to use safe roads to my target group. With the results I get now from hullaccumulator sometimes points will be inside the polygon even tough they should not be. Only the points that has 3000 meters or less should be included in the surface. Can anyone help me? Best regardsJesper

Hi ! I would like to remove the "," at the very beginning of the concatenation.

I tried with the transformer "substringextractor" but I remove the "1" from my thousandth when there is no comma at the beginning. I saw that there was a transformer "LastSectionOfStringRemover", maybe it exists for the beginning?
