Hi. Today's second question, I'm glad that this forum exists :) I'm sending the "example" file in the attachment. I would need advice on a transformer where I could implement a sequence of individual segments. I have an idea, but I don't know how to implement it in WS. StartPoint and EndPOint is one segment. I need to determine the correct order of the segments. To get the correct order, I need to determine the first and last point - the value of the first point must meet the condition of occurrence in "startpoint" and at the same time it must occur only once ( A1 ). If I manage to determine the first segment, I need to further apply that the endpoint value of the first segment ( A2 ) is the starting value ( startpoint ) of the following segment. This way the correct sequence will be connected. Some ideas? 

Hello Forum. I'm trying to help a colleague to setup an Oauth2 service (Tools->WebConnections->+->Oauth2Service) but we're struggling. We have the parameters from the data-owner, and the "Preview" window in the setup dialog presents an acceptable URL (see attached image), but when the connection is made to the server, the URL is malformed. The problem is that the URL received on the server is terminated (prior to the parameters) with ampersand thus: /realms/fdir-dev/protocol/openid-connect/auth&redirect_uri=https://localhost/&client_id=yggdrasil-sa  instead of question-mark as reported in the setup-dialog Preview (see image) The question-mark is required by the server and html convention. Has anyone had success with the OAuth2 server connector, who might be able to guide us, or is this simply a bug?

Hi, I have to zip the output from the featurewriter.The standard writer has the option to zip the output. Is this also possible with transformer "FeatureWriter"? I have not found anything about it. I need FeatureWriter because my process will go on after writing! 

I had a WFS reader with a search envelope that is downloading point features. The search envelope used to work in a previous version of Desktop.I'm now getting the error:Unknown coordinate system '' specified.  Nothing else changed. The data is read in as EPSG:4326 and the search envelope is the same. Any ideas?  

Hello,  for calculations on line segments I divide a line into its individual segments between two vertices (2-point line) using the transformer "Chopper". For a further processing step I need the number of the segment within the total line. This means that if my line consists of 11 vertices, I have 10 line segments. The first line segment should start with the element ID 0. I have tried to do this with a counter, but without success. For this reason, I would like to ask how I can solve this elegantly. I am encountering issues when reading text from a DGN where the text is in Microstation native fonts (e.g. igds_font = 0). I am generating PDF files from the DGN's and I need the text to look the same in the PDF as it does in Microstation. Currently, I am seeing variations in text font, as well as special character inconsistencies (e.g. degree symbols are read as ^ ). Is there a way to read Microstation fonts in FME? I have access to the font library .rsc files - can I utilize them somehow within FME?Thank you!Courtney

The GUI (icons, buttons, menus, text, etc.) in FME workbench isn't scaling/rendering correctly on my PC. Some elements are relatively large while others are very small. Is there a way to fix this?

I'm trying to make some pretty histogram reports of some error differences and I'm having trouble getting the chart generator to actually show the trend line. I want to show it because my data should be close to normally distributed.I have tried to use the trend line in the scatterplot option but that does not work also.Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I should have enough data to get a trend (60+ data points)

I'm trying to convert 3D models to GLTF, however, the output models tend to be a little do dark in the application we're using. I'm trying to make them brighter by setting the SpecularColor factor to white. I also want to set the shininess, but only if there is no shininess set. In addition I want to also apply a fallback appearance to the surfaces which have no appearance. The conversion needs to work for all inputs and ideally be nice and fast. I've been playing around with the SharedItem tools and have gotten very close to what I want, however, there are some edge cases where my process doesn't work.It seems like it should be really easy but I just can't get it to work. Has anyone had luck doing this?

Hello,  I have a FME Server Automation with a Manual Trigger. This FME Server Automation is triggered via the FME Server REST API in a HTTP Caller. I would like to know if it is possible to set the Output key values (Manual or otherwise) of the Manual Trigger via the body parameter of the HTTP Caller.And if it is possible, what kind of body should you send?  I did find out you can set these in FME Server when you trigger the Automation in the Web UI(Start Automation -> Trigger) when the Manual Trigger parameter of the automation "Prompt for JSON on Trigger" is checked. Then you can set the values for the (Manual) Output Keys. This however can't be used in my process.  Thanks in advance,

I have Lines (13,000 Street Centerlines) and Points (7,000 Intersections). I want to do a spatial join of the Lines and Points so that the attributes of each point is merged with the 1 to 4 lines that intersect each point.  I just started using FME, after completing the training last month. What Transformer(s) would you recommend I use for this process? My goal is to have the lines each have the CROSS_ST_NAMES field which is in the points layer be joined to each line that intersects a point. In the points layer, the CROSS_ST_NAMES field has no <null> values, when they are merged with the lines there must be no <null> values. Below is a screenshot of what I am working with. Each line is a street centerline, each point is an intersection.  

I would like to insert new z values in a polyline feature using the surfacedraper while maintaning the existing z values. A feature can have mutiple vertices with and without z values or a combination.

I have recently installed FME Desktop 2022.0 (Database edition – Build 22337 – WIN64) and want to migrate old workspaces to this latest version. I have a workspace that was written and runs in FME Desktop 2019.0 (Database edition). It reads in about 120,000 records via SQL Creator (non-spatial Microsoft SQL data format), does some transformations, and writes to a CSV file. It works perfectly in FME Desktop 2019.0. However, when I open and run the same workspace in FME Desktop 2022.0 it is not working correctly. I have tried this on Windows 10 Enterprise and Windows Server 2012 R2. I have tried with Feature Cache on and off. I have tried running as a batch process. I have tried running the workspace in 2022.0 unchanged (as a 2019.0 workspace). I have tried running the workspace in 2022.0 unchanged (as a 2022.0 workspace). I have tried running in 2022.0 with transformers upgraded to the latest 2022.0 versions. In all cases after every 10,000 records, several records are corrupted on the

Hi,I have a workspace where I use the oracle database connections as a variable. This works fine. When a runs the workspace a published parameter determines which connection is used. But when I publish this on fme server. I get an authorisation failure: FME Server error: `Unauthorized request by user due to lack of proper permissions for connection: **@**. Hello, I use a Reader to list files inside a directory, connected to a FeatureReader to read the features. Currently, all features of all files are merged. ie. if I have 100 files with 100 features each, the output of FeatureReader will be 10.000 features. Is it possible to iterate incrementally over each file, ie. to execute a pipeline independently for each input file, so that the FeatureReader will be executed 100 times with 100 output features ? Thanks!

Hello, Texture UV coordinates are not set in geometry if no texture is provided to AppearanceSetter. My use case is that texture is provided later in the pipeline (at render time). Is that a bug? Thanks.

hi,I have a number of lidar files in LAS format. I’m using reading las, then combining them and tiling them, then writing zlas. Everything is OK except that I get a message that there is a value-converting from rel64 to int32. Is-it possible to get the results las files in rel64.

Hi,I have some FME workspaces, that investigate the recent FME log files from previous translations. This is done to uncover any problems in a rational way.I want to extract the statistics at the bottom, but the "|STATS |" string is used extensively thru-out the log file, and would completely swamp the output if this was the only search criteria (while reading as a TEXT file).Do anyone have a good idea how to extract just the summation details ?CheersLars I
