Create stereo model from aerial photos midpoints

I have a file like the example in my hand. There are photo midpoints in the file. I make useful models for stereo drawing by using them. How can I create these areas automatically?Attached is a sample file and picture.model-1 and model-2 created by manuel for example.

Accumulating attributes on a point from multiple input polygon sources

I have three polygon shapefiles, they all contain a column called GUID, this column is unique, the shapefiles often overlap. I also have a point shapefile, these points will generally fall within 1 or Many polygons. I am trying to end up with a table similar to the one shown in my sketch. Each point feature should have one or more GUID in it... I am sure there is a simple process to do this in FME, currently I have an overly complex looking scenario that isn't working, I am really over thinking this one.

Can I set a variable based on an attribute?

I have an an attribute in my table that is type 'string', and I am trying to work out how to associate a code to each of these different attribute types so this code can be used in the next transformer. See screenshot, for example I have added red text, so for POTHOLES, I need to feed the integer 70 into my HTTP caller, for SEAL OVERLAY I need to use the code 105 in my HTTP caller and so on... I am unsure how to set these codes for each of my unique values. I was about to create a new HTTP caller for each of my different attributes and hard code the variable, but I know that would be a terrible idea as I should be able to code this better. Have I explained this well enough to understand? I'm having a hard time describing it!

Create a User Parameter to add database connection.

I am running a workspace with SDE readers and writers. It has designed to run on one market. I need to run the same workspace on other markets with a new database connection and I was wondering if I could set user parameters to input SDE connections and it will change data in feature readers accordingly. I tried to create a user parameter that allows users to create a database connection, but it did not change the connections in Feature Reader. I still see my old connection.

Receving a unzip excel file with Datadownload

Hi, I'm currently sending a excel file via a XlSXW writer with FME SERVER. I am able to receive it with fmedatadownload as a zip file. Is there anyway to received it unzip, just as a .xlsx? I saw in the documentation the following:The download is returned as a zip (compressed archive) file for the following reasons:The result is a number of output datasets (not just one dataset).Folder-based datasets do not consist of a single file; for example, ESRI Shape format has files with the extension .shp, .shx, .dbf, and some others.Even file-based datasets may consist of more than one file; for example, a GML dataset includes both a GML file and an XSD (XML Schema Definition) file. Workbenches using Download Service not providing download result links

We have several workbenches on server that we had set up to use the Download service to allow us to extract sections of national datasets for queries and plan production purposes. However, recently they have stopped providing the download links to the results and any new workbenches we've published to the server are also unable to provide links to download (these have also been set up with the download service). The workbenches are able produce the results, it's just not returning any links.Any ideas on what could be causing this would be appreciated.

PointOnAreaOverlayer not working

I have a basic workbench where I have points stored in an ESRI ArcGIS Online Point Feature Layer, and I have an ESRI Enterprise SDE Polygon Feature Class. 99% of my AGOL points fall within a SDE polygon. I have created a simple workbench with two readers (AGOL and SDE as previously described), as my screenshot shows, the points fall within the polygon areas, but the tool is not returning a single overlap whereby a point sits on a polygon, yet the screenshot clearly shows the point within the polygon. See '_overlaps' column in screenshot are all 0 Is there something basic I am missing? I just want each point to have an attribute outlining the polygon it is within.

Linux FME Engine Windows FIleshare

We do have FME Server setup on Ubuntu OS, and some of our big data stores are in windows file shares AWS FsX. Our users would like to access windows fileshare from FME workspaces in the FME server. Any ideas on how we can achieve this?

User Parameters in MSSQL Spatial Writer's "SQL To Run After Write"

Hello, How can I utilize a User Parameter in the SQL To Run After Write? I have a User Parameter (Text Value) with a default value of parcels@DateTimeFormat(@DateTimeNow(),%Y%m%d) The parameter works when setting the table name for the new table in the DB and the table is properly created: But when the user parameter is used in the SQL To Run After Write, it causes an error. Is that because the value of the User Parameter contains formatters? This line in the SQL:UPDATE '$(ImportTableName)'(I've tried with and without the quotes surrounding the parameter, btw) evaluates to this in the console (and the SQL):UPDATE 'parcels@DateTimeFormat(@DateTimeNow(),%Y%m%d%H%M)'How can I use this parameter in the SQL? Alternatively, how can I utilize a name that is generated at workspace runtime for the table name and subsequently reference it in the SQL?

Help with syntax for String Replacer function to remove consecutive double quotes

I'm parameterizing the first portion of a dataset path name inside a feature writer dataset parameter to allow easier transition from our development environment to production. I've created the following published parameter.The published parameter's Configuration parameter is set to display name = 'dev', value = ""//myhost.org/Scheduled on FME Server/DEV/dev_start_stop_report_data/"" When the dataset parameter in the feature writer transformer is set as shown below, the writer is unable to find the directory. How to read data from network location in fme server

we have run FME server on windows. Here we used an UNC path as the input folder parameter for the workbenches. This allowed us to store the data that we would like to process on a (windows) network share. Another benefit is that we are able to run the workbench in FME Desktop with the same parameters as in FME Server, since we do not rely on the FME_SERVER_* parameters in the workbench. We are now migrating to a FME Linux / Docker installation, and the UNC path solution does not work anymore. We are looking for a way to just change the content of input parameter, and still access the data on the (windows) network share. I can't find the instructions on setting this up. Would we need to mount the windows network share from the linux server? Additional questions: Just mounting the windows share from the linux host is not sufficient. Is it possible to access this mount on the linux host from within the FME server docker by using bind mounts?

Spatial Join to add polygon data to points

I have a shapefile that contains about 10'000 points and need to merge some data from a polygon shapefile that describes administrative areas. I need to add the relevant admin area data to each point. Is there a way to do this in FME?

Access "token" not found for connection (Google Sheets)

The above before the parentheses is the error and following up on the solution, I have a web connection that I'm trying to establish in FME Server. When I go through the steps to authenticate, I get the attached dialog. I do not understand what this is telling me. It says to "Navigate to FME" but this dialog came from FME server (after logging into Google) so why isn't it just using it. I do not understand where to put the authorization code. I found these instructions that cover "Managing Web Services" but the Web Service already exists and I don't feel comfortable pasting over what is there because I didn't create it (2nd screenshot).https://docs.safe.com/fme/html/FME_Server_Documentation/WebUI/Web-Connections.htm

How can I create a simple report of features passing/failing various tests?

I want to create a workspace that checks input data for various criteria. For example: are there polygons smaller than a certain threshold. Ideally I would like an output in a textfile/PDF, that says "2 features have an area below X". I can calculate the area of the feautres and with a Test_Filter I can redirect the features not passing. What is the FME way to extract the count of those features and write it with a meaningful message to a report?

Dynamically Read Multiple CSV Schema - Organize - Export as Standard CSV Structure

Goal: I am trying to standardize the raw CSV files. The output file columns should look like below.Date Time Level Temperature ElevationBackground Info: Each file might have multiple tabs. I need to only process the sheets that named as 20* (2011-2012-2019-2020 etc). Sometimes there is header information in A column in some of the sheets. Thus the table header starts at different row number.Issue: I am using FeatureReader to detect the schema dynamically. If the table starts with header information, the transformer reads the data as a new table. Thus it creates new column names which turns into a larger issue.Normally there are over 200 files with multiple tabs but I've prepared a sample data and included my workbench. Looking for help.

Combine 2 lines of header into 1 attribute name from Excel

I'd like to combine headers from 2 lines in Excel to form 1 attribute name.Should result in feature with attributes ID, AAA_XXX and BBB_YYYI've looked at debbiatsafe solution at Bulk Rename Attributes with Original Name plus the First Row (safe.com) but that doesn't do it all the way.Need to have the features with the attribute names to continue working with in the workspace.Any hints on how to proceed?

Http certificate error on FME Desktop

When I try to run the AWS DynamoDB reader in FME desktop i Get the error.ERROR |com.amazonaws.SdkClientException: Unable to execute HTTP request: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target I tried following what this question says:https://community.safe.com/s/question/0D54Q000080hbz0SAA/httpcallser-ca-certificate?t=1647334797980 Connecting to dynamo DB using same credentials using CMD workes fine and uploading Workspace to FME Server also runs fine. Only problem is on local Desktop version 2021.2. I have tried to add the certificate to Windows Certificate Store but no luck. Any ide what might help?
