Hello, I’m trying to upload attachments form AGO to AGOL using process described in the article How to Use the ArcGISAttachmentConnector, I’m on FME workbench 2026.1On small test this runs fine, but when I start testing actual production feature services, I get errorThe ArcGIS REST API returned an error: HTTP Error Code: 413 : '' Message Code . Further details: 'The page was not displayed because the request entity is too largeI have tried by lowering the number of records per request in the readers to 500 and 300 but it failed.Is there a workaround for this? I do read all the records in; none are filtered (as I’m new to FME I stuck to the article). Would skipping the empty attachment records help? I have line features . When two lines really intersect, I would like to create a new vertex at the intersection point .My requirement is:if two lines intersect, create a vertex on the lines at the intersection location if it does not exist the new vertex should get a Z value that is 1 meter lower than the other existing vertices of the lineFor example, if the line vertices have Z = 145, then the new intersection vertex should have Z = 144.Currently I am using Insector, and to filter out the nodes that share a node between consecutive lines, I cobination of coordinate extractor and FeatureJoiner. Afterwards, I extract all coordinates of the lines and join them again with the remaining points from Insector to identify the real intersecting points, as well as the intersecting points that do not exist as vertices on the line.Then I gave new z values to this vertex candidate but how can i insert them onto l

I have a raster with 0.25 m pixel size, I need to resampler to 0.5m and get align with another raster who it’s already in 0.5m pixel size. I tried many transformer but without succes, and fme helps transformer didn’t help me Any idea? thanks u!align

I have a parent workspace and that is calling a child workspace in FME Form using a WorkspaceRunner transformer. The child workspace references deployment parameters. When the child workspace is run from the WorkspaceRunner I receive the following error: ERROR : 2: Undefined macro `APP_API_URL' dereferenced in file. APP_API_URL is the name of a deployment parameter that I have permission granted. I tried creating a published parameter in the child workspace whose default value is the deployment parameter but I get the same result. Are deployment parameters not supported with WorkspaceRunner? FME(R) 2025.2.0.0 (20251120 - Build 25810 - WIN64)

InlineQuerier documentation states:  The InlineQuerier creates a temporary SQLite database, and creates a table for each input object that is connected to it.  This is not always true. If an incoming flow is empty, the table is not created. This should be stated clearly in the documentation. I would prefer that the table is created anyway. The transformer will fail otherwise. This is one of those questions, where you think the answer should be straightforward yet eludes you, so hopefully somebody is able to help me out here.I have 20,000 property IDs in my workbench, and I need to get additional attributes from a large PostGIS database table that contains several million records. This should be a simple join on the property IDs, but the problem is that FME is feature-based whereas any database is table-based.If I put these 20,000 property IDs through a DatabaseJoiner, SQLExecutor or FeatureReader, it runs 20,000 individual queries rather than 1 single one, so is very slow and inefficient.The second option (suggested by AI) is to write my property IDs to a temp table in PostGIS, and then do an inner join on the temp table. I don’t like this option as it means writing into my source PostGIS database, which is not a good idea. And writing the data into a table is ‘expensive’.The third option would be to read a

Hi everyone,I’m currently facing an issue with CSV FeatureWriter transformer writing in a ZIP folder. We recently migrated from FME Workbench 2020 to 2025 and the behaviour of the writer changed in between.2020: when writing a CSV in a ZIP folder, the entire ZIP folder would be overwritten. Meaning that if it contained several files, only the newly written CSV would remain. 2025: when writing a CSV in a ZIP folder, only the specified CSV file in the folder is overwritten. Meaning that all the other files are still existing. I get the same result with FME2024.1.3.Main question here: Which FME version has the correct behaviour ? Case 1 or case 2?If it’s case 2, then it means that I will have to update all the workspaces in my infrastructure that are writing files in a ZIP folder, leading to a lot of extra work → I probably need to clean up the ZIP folder upstream through a SystemCaller or PythonCaller. Initially, I tried using Onedrive connector>Folder to overwrite a folder (with two parquet files) however onedrive doesn’t allow this if the folder already exists.I then tried to delete the folder first. I wasn’t able to do that. The connector seems to use the id and this changes each time I recreate the folder. I get an id doesn’t exist type error.I’ve also tried passing a string as the path. Still no luck.Has anyone been able to overwrite files or folders successfully?

Hi,I’m using an API (https://docs.transpoco.net/?version=latest#52611862-77b1-4fe6-8a1d-67fc4904cb54) and need to send a post request for authentication. The issue is that the post request takes the username and passwork on the body of the request as a JSON. Any ideas of how I can create a webconnection to run this request in a way i can safely store the credentials on the webconnection instead of on the httpCaller transformer?

Hi,I have a strange issue when writing to excel. I have a feature writer to excel in dynamic mode. To prevent numbers being converted to a scientific notation I added a Excel Styler where I set the custom numer format to 0. This works perfect.The problem is that now my dates and datetimes are suddenly shown as number. When I change the cell format to date it shows the date, but I want it to directly show the date. When I remove the ExcelStyler, dates are shown as dates. Anyone any idea how to fix this?I use FME 2023.2.5.

Hi all.I’m experimenting with calling WFS services with custom filtering expressions, including spatial filtering.According to the filtering documentation, spatial filtering is possible with GML, but it doesn’t seem to work in FME ?The geometry column is present but has no value in the output from FeatureReader, and FeatureReader has its own spatial filtering parameter separate from the “normal” filtering parameter (using <Filter/>)Am I correct in assuming, that FME effectively prohibits any spatial filtering via the “normal” filtering parameter, and requires you to always use the special FeatureReader spatial filtering parameter ?And maybe this is neccesitated because FeatureReader removes the WFS geometry column values ?Thanks for any insights.

Hi everyone!Today I’d like to share a new approach to building reports in FME, along with an entire family of custom transformers I’ve created to support it. Why I built BRGI’m a long-time fan of the HTMLReportGenerator. It lets me craft reports quickly, and I love the versatility of HTML compared with, say, PDF. I even demo it in every Intro to FME course as a great example of “let FME handle the code.”But as much as I love it, I’ve always hit three pain points:1. Plain styling – it could really use a dash of CSS/Bootstrap.2. Hard-coded content types – adding a new chart or HTML element isn’t trivial.3. Hello,to simplify/reproduce my problem:  I added a User-Parameter on my Attribute-Remover: Which grants me a choice to select which to ignore, but (same as here Attribute Remover does not work with User Parameter | Community 8 years ago) it only removes the values and not the attributes, so when I write it into my database or even a new excel, it creates unneeded columns.Manually selecting attributes in the Attribute-Remover works fine, this only happens when using user parameter. Am I missing something or is there another way?P.S. I also tried AttributeKeeper with User-Parameter, but then they’re unexposed, so I wo

I am trying to get the labels in this map to offset so that they “print” on their lines (two different labels, one is for pipes and the other one is for manholes).Manholes - is the label like 71100144 - the first row of this label should sit perfectly above the line there.The pipes are the values like KM_… - this one should offset entirely to sit on top of the pipe lines.I hope that makes sense.Is there an attribute I can set? I have a network of connected points and lines, and I’m looking for a way to create a selection set of points along the network, the key being I want to only select every other point. I tried modular selection counts (odd vs even numbering), network topology build for start and end node, but I can’t seem to get the results I’m looking for. Below is a screen capture - I want to eliminate the grey colored points in between. At intersections these points would be retained if necessary according to the ordering.  Select all points in Orange, skip points in Grey 

What happened to the reader and writer drop down menus in FME 2025.2? Why would they remove them? Am I just missing how to add them back in? So frustrating.

I have some columns within my Excel template that have a lot of text, so I thought to put the wrap text feature on for basically the whole spreadsheet. Thing is, only some of the cells wrap text instead of all of the cells. In the screenshot you can see what I mean - I have tried everything to try and fix this. Hoping someone in this community can assist! I tried using the ExcelStyler transformer too to no avail.

Hello - a colleague has set up a table in an MS SQL Esri SDE and they are trying to use the FME Esri Geodatabase (ArcSDE Geodb) writer to truncate the table and insert new data.However, when the table was created (using ArcGIS Pro) they chose some long attribute names (e.g. 45 characters). This is now causing an issue as the FME ArcSDE writer enforces a 31 character limit for attribute names. This means that we cannot get the writer schema to match the schema of the database table.It seems that the FME Esri SDE writer is enforcing a character limit to attribute names that is stricter than the limits applied by the Esri SDE itself. Is there any way to override this limit on the FME writer?  I think we could use an MS SQL writer to truncate and insert the data but would prefer to use the Esri SDE specific writer if at all possible.Thanks in advance.

The zoom slider bar is missing in FME Flow 2026.1. Please bring it back. It makes zooming more convenient. It was in FME Desktop 2021. Are there plans to bring it back? Or is there identical functionality in FME Form 2026.1? If so, where?

Hello everybody,I am trying to build a flow app: The user has an Excel file with 3 columns.  the flow app must show the values of theses columns as one parameter (I want to have the chance to filter the list using one of the 3 columns). My Problem is to get the contents of the excel file. If I try it with the User Paramters Window, I can import from dataset or reader formats. But with these options I do not get the contents but the headers or the name of the readers.I can save the contents of the File in a SQL Database. But I do not know how I can read them and show them in the user parameter List. Has anyone any Idea, how I can get a List with a filter to show those values of the excel?Thanks in advance!Manuel
