I also deliver training sessions on FME Form and FME Flow - more than a hundred sessions so far, with over 300 participants trained.Beyond training and support, I provide consulting, coaching, technical audits, and assistance around FME, and I serve as the FME Flow reference at Verem

Hello. We’ve released two new FME Flow learning paths: Deploy Workflows with FME Flow Automate Workflows with FME FlowThese free learning paths are available as instructor-led live courses or on demand via the FME Academy. Complete all the quizzes in the learning path to earn a certificate and a Community badge.These learning paths are updated and revised versions of the FME Flow Authoring learning path. We are slightly changing how we deliver that course live, now delivering it as three separate, shorter courses and the occasional five-day course (one is coming up Sept 22-26th). These are the first two courses; we plan to release the third course, focused on FME Flow Apps, in late October. Once all three are released, we’ll update the FME Flow Authoring learning path to point to this content.Please let me know if you have any questions.

I’ve been finding lately that having an AI write code for me and just run it is becoming almost trivial, and as an FME user it’s starting to make me feel pretty obsolete. Of course there are still a tonne of caveats and you still need to be careful, but with the recent rollout of Visual Studio’s “Agent” mode to everyone the reality is fast approaching that it may be easier to create a free python based application to do a specific task than to write a workspace. Understanding these AI tools well is hands down just going to make you much more productive. But this can only be true is you can actually use them in your work which in the FME world it’s so far not so easy.For me one of the main benefits of using FME is that I don’t need to spend time writing code, but now that I can have the AI do much of the work I’m really wondering about the future of FME - Especially to juniors - If someone has to spend time learning FME vs asking an AI to create a python app to do the same why would the
