Is there a way to keep the symbology from a DWG when writing to AGOL?

Hi all,I'm trying to write a few layers from a .DWG to ArcGIS Online. Is there a way to keep the symbology of the DWG when writing to AGOL? Or, is there a transformer that can change the symbology of a line/point and then write to AGOL?Thanks!

Name Access output with Attribute

I am writing out to Access (JDBC) and want to use an attribute created in the routine for the filename. I have tried entering @Value(Filename) in the Database Path of the writer but it just creates a database called @Value(Filename).mdb Any ideas how I can get the attribute as the filename. The only option I have found is to use a user parameter to do it but I want a date stamp as part of the filename which is created in the routine. Thanks

How to find out which las files are inside an area

Hi,I have a folder full of las files from a big area, but I want to find out which las files exactly are inside my zone if interest (.shp) . I have tried a hullaccumulator to get a hull from each point cloud, to then compare these with my .shp file using a SpatialRelator, but it doesn't seem to work or I did something wrong in the options. My goal is to obtain a list of these las files.Cheers

Excel Formula Not Read in Dynamic Report

Hello,I have a shapefile whose report I am trying to generate by pivoting. The result, I am able to get on different sheets. But the output is not calculating the formulas and hence I am not able to calculate summary for all the sheets. The template has only one sheet as a reference. It also has some formulas which calculate the summary. When the reporting is done for the single file it reads the formula and generates the summary as well.Attached herewith is the sample workbench and the template file to refer to. Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.Thanks.

Creating a PDF map of a GeoDB point with WMS map imagery

Hi all,I am trying to create PDF maps which show points and areas from a Geodatabase, overlaid on imagery from a WMS connection. Each image in the PDF needs to show the point from the GeoDB at its centre, and be zoomed to a uniform distance so that the areas from the GeoDB and WMS imagery are visible. Can anyone tell me where I need to start? I've made several attempts with a few different transformers, and I'm getting nowhere.Thanks in advance!

Have few queries before migrating FME Desktop and Server version 2015.1 to 20191. Whether OS Windows 2012 R2 will support FME Desktop and Server 2019?2. Does FME workbench older version 2015.1 will work on version 2019?3. Is ESRI ArcSDE 10.1 (.sde) file will connect through Direct Connection on FME Version 2019?4. how to set google sheet reader automatically to import fresh data

i am using google sheet reader and writing it to the database.. but the problem is there are more than 10 readers for google sheets which are are updating each and every hour .so if i just run the workspace it is not writing the fresh (updated google sheet) instead the same old one so i have to do update reader for every time for each reader to write the updated sheet please is there any solution to do it automatic after i run the workspace it will read the fresh data updated in google sheet..

Which are the transformers for migrating data from Oracle to MongoDB?

While migrating data from oracle to mongodb, I am trying to use JSON reader and writer. I need to know if instead of using json reader and writer both is there any simpler way to do this.

Hi I have two ESRI geodtabase files with different parcel information for same location. I am interested in joining the two records based on the corresponding same location. The attributes for the file looks as follows:I want to get a table that contains all these attributes together, for a same location?Is it possible.. Any help will be appreciated.

Unable to flush the cursor for the feature class because the spatial index is too small.

Unable to flush the cursor for the feature class 'M_SDAT' because the spatial index is too small. Increase the spatial index on 'M_SDAT' and retry I have an old complicated workbench. It translates all of the NOAA Electronic Navigational Charts S-57 .000 files into Oracle for internal users and external arcgis server rest services. It's been running every Saturday on a schedule for years. lately it's been throwing the above error. I'm able to get past it and run the translation by disable that particular feature class. But every week it's breaking on a different one, so I need to find a real answer. FME Server 2019.0.0.1 Build 19246 - win64Oracle 12.1.0.2

Hi,I do not know what happend to my schema, but I need to update a reader all the time when I want to run the workspace. Before I did not need to do this. The schema and Data for reader are always the same ( just name od dataset-[not feature type name], and content are different).I had to upload a new dataset into a reader and that was all.Now, I need to Update reader AND feature types every single operation. Otherwise read the reader only a few feature types.I need to automate this schema in FME Server, but it will not work when I need to update a reader all the time. Does anybody has any idea why this happened?I did not make any changes in my workspace. Thanks

I am trying to configure a Hadoop data connection in FME Desktop 2018.1. I have installed the JDBC driver supplied by iut IT team so I no longer get a driver error bit I now get the error below. We use Kerberos security but it's not clear to me if this is supported in FME Desktop for this connection type. Is it? Loop and Clipper with Overlapping individual output

Hi, I looked at many previous questions but didn't find a good answer to solve it so I make a new question with many screenshots. My Workspace.I create 1 box between 0,0 and 100,100 and 20 random circles with a radius of 5 with a center within that box. I send all circles to a custom transformer "cutloop"(I somehow need to attach a loop within here, and maybe an expressionevaluator and tester this is the main part I need help with)My writer is a dwg with a fanout expression so if I run it as it is now I get 20 "InsideX.dwg" layers for each cut box feature. This is very important part, I must have one file for each part of the box where a circle overlaps. My problem as it is now, is that some circles overlap, and since all features are read as one, the inside is not working correctly and I dont get full circles. I want individual full circles for the box which is inside each circle. (Inspected before I write each circle separatly) (Blue now I want red)Everything

Attempting to Convert String data to multiple outputs

Hi guys,I need to convert the current source data I have which comes in the following format and need to it to come out as the output below.The conversion aspect of it I can get working but the issue is I want a concurrent list of IDs that is based on the source data. So all the outputs should be unique unless they are the same as the source data. What would be the best way to do this? Creating a DEM from points

Hello,I have a dgn file containing a 3D model of a ground surface. From the dgn I created a 3D polygon shapefile, extracted the vertices to points and assigned Z values to the points. I would like to interpolate between the points I extracted to create a DEM. This process works well in ArcGIS, using the Create TIN tool and I'm able to create a DEM raster that closely resembles the original 3D model. I've been trying to replicate this process in FME but I can't seem to generate a TIN similar to that of the original model. I've tried using TINgenerator, DEMgenerator, RasterDEMGenerator and Surfacemodeller. With all of these methods it appears to interpolate a surface but the faces are missing (looks like a greenhouse with the glass taken out). Or the interpolation is so course that it creates huge triangles, which is something that the Create TIN tool in ArcGIS appears to overcome. Is there away that I can generate a TIN with solid faces and a higher resolution of interp

Extract dimensions of internal walls from a scan

FME Beginner. Project has scanned the internal areas of a high rise building. Have raw scan files currently sitting in Trimble RealWorks. I was wondering if there is way to extract the dimensions of the walls from the point cloud? Happy to do this floor by floor if needed. Thank you.

Hello,I have a problem in FME. I have too much data so I want to filter data every 3 seconds (3 or 4 or anything, whatever) but I really don't know how to do it if someone can help me please . Using Ingres X Spatial DB and getting "FME Configuration: No destination coordinate system set Invalid WKB encountered.

Using Ingres X Spatial DB and getting "FME Configuration: No destination coordinate system set Invalid WKB encountered. Ingres: invalid WKB encountered " The table has been created with srid 26911 and data inserted with the same srid. In FME the Coord system shows EPSG:26911. Any ideas on what is going wrong ? Using the Ingres table in reader and writer features.

Will the same workspace run once every 5 minutes stop the previous?

I want to run the same workspace every x minutes. Will the server queue it or stop the one before. Sometimes the running workspace will take more time than the time allotted and I want it to queue.
