How to get transformer 'Emailer' installed?

Installing FME 2023.0.1 doens't deliver the possibility to download and install transformers such as 'Emailer'. FME seems not to find the (correct) interpreter. How to remove insterction point in line

I have self interaction in line .line has id but it make circle and intersect itself .how could I remove the intersection point at same line ? my problem : after using intersection lines ,I found this line divide to 3 lines ,because it intersect itself in point .will be possible to let intersector Transformator to create find intersection lines but between different id and ignore the intersection lines for line that has specific id .Could I specific it in parameter ,to find intersection lines only for different id ?

SharedItemIDSetter Does Not Work to Instantiate Objects. Urgently Needed Help...

Hello, I imported a point GIS dataset into FME to export it with datasmith into unreal engine. The dataset is point based (I used vertex creator). When exporting to unreal, the scene is empty. Essentially, I need to convert each point into a 3d object (like identical cubes) which will be read as a static mesh with UE. I am banging my head against the wall trying to figure out how to do that.... I tried to play around with 2dboxreplacer and 3dforcer but they don't give me any results.Any help or tips will be very much appreciated. Thank you so much!!!

Dynamically set "Attributes to Expose" in Feature Reader Parameters

Is there a way to dynamically set the "Attributes to Expose" option in the Feature Reader Parameters dialog box. I've set a variable equal to the attributes I want, and I've created a user parameter pointing to a .csv file containing the attributes (one on each line), figuring I could update the .csv each time through a loop with the attributes I want from the next file.... but neither of these worked (at least in the form I tried them): I apologize for asking so many questions. I promise to answer some when I get better at this.

Creating a table in AutoCAD

How do I go about creating a table in AutoCAD like the one attached with inputs that look exactly the same (basically an insert of a csv)? It seems like such a simple task but is proving to be hard. FWIW I am learning AutoCAD via FME so my AutoCAD knowledge is not of a professional standard.

Is it possible to schedule FME Flow engines on nodes where there isn't a FME Flow core scheduled on a Azure Kubernetes Deployment?

I'm trying to have a distributed deployment of my standard engine & the dynamic engines in azure kubernetes. I created 2 nodepools and referenced the tag of the 2nd nodepool in the values.yaml file. The dynamic engine has a nodeSelector: {agentpool: nodepooldynamic} field that says this engine has to go on a specific nodepool. However, when I update my deployment it says the pods affinity rules are not met since it only wants to schedule engine pods on the same nodepool as there is a core pod available. Although, the engine pod immediately launches even before the core pod is available. Is the presence of the core pod hard coded or is it possible to change this?

Identify the User that will run workspaces within an automation

It appears that FME automations run workspaces as the last user to edit the automation, not the automation owner or the workspace owner. Is there a way to identify the last user to edit an automation and where that differs from the automation owner? I can't see anything within the interface, or returned as automation information via the API (FME Server 2021)

I am able to use Powershell to get json data from SPLUNK Res API.Now I want to translate this method to the HTTPCaller, but I dont succeed to get this working in FME. Does anybody have experience with this or has some tips and tricks?

Matching Values from One Column in Another Column

I'm working on data transformation and trying to achieve a task using FME. I have a dataset with two columns(From and To), and I need to match values from one column(From) with values in another column(To). The third column(ID) corresponds to the value present in col From, so eventually, I have to match the value in col From, find it in another col To, and populate the ID value(in new col ID2) in a new column.Essentially, I want to find instances where a value from the first column exists in the second column.Could someone guide me on how to set up an FME workflow to accomplish this? I got an understanding that it can be performed using AttributeCreator using Enable Adjacent Feature Attributes, though not sure if it can, and how!I appreciate any help or insights you can provide. Thank you in advance for the assistance!The ID1 values in the below image are IDs of col From. I have to populate ID2 values that refer to To column.

Which version of ODBC Driver for SQL Server should FME2023.1 utilise?

I am in process of migrating FME to a new windows machine and to run in the latest version (FME 2023.1). I have found that the workbenches run faster in the version we have upgraded from (FME 2018.1) Checking the log files for some of the processes, the SQL creator processes take longer in FME2023. I want to replicate oracle tables with Esri ST_GEOM data types to a Snowflake data warehouse without any transformations before. Just a straight up replication of the complete table, including the ST_GEOM data field. Can Safe FME do that?

This question relates to another question / post regarding Oracle SDO_GEOM data types. We have both ST_GEOM & SDO_GEOM data type fields in our Oracle database schemas that we want to replicate to a Snowflake data warehouse.

Connecting SDE with Windows Authentication

We are connecting to an SDE database via and SDE file in server, we would like to use Windows Authentication and the service account the server runs under. But when I load an SDE connection file with Windows Authentication selected it does not pick up the windows credtiasl of the service account. Error Message:Could not open the Enterprise Geodatabase. The error number from ArcObjects is: '-2147216118'. The error message from ArcObjects is: {Bad login user}Please ensure the connection parameters are correct (server=`egisdev-db.tnad.tasnetworks.com.au', instance=`sde:sqlserver:egisdev-db.tnad.tasnetworks.com.au', user=`', password=`***', database=`EGIS_UNMaster', version=`sde.DEFAULT') I have tried reading from the DB using a database connection set to Windows Authentication, but we need to to use SDE connection as these are esri geodatabases. Any thoughts?

FeatureWriter fails to propogate additional attribute values in 2022 and 2023 ??

Hi.I have a workspace, built with 2020.2.5, that utilizes FeatureWriter to build a zipped shape file for attachment to an email.In FW I'm adding some variables to be propogated along with the datasets, i.e. adding them to "Additional Summary Port Attributes". This works fine in 2020.When uploading the 2020 workspace to our 2022.2.2 FME server, it still works fine.I just tried to create a workspace in 2022.2.2 (open+save as), and now the additional variables are all set to blank strings. This is so both on desktop and when uploaded and run on server.I then did the same test with 2023.0, and the same problem exists, at least on desktop (can't test it on server as my server is 2022). The version of FeatureWriter is 0 in all versions, suggesting that it is the same transformer since forever. Please advise.Cheers.

Preserve ObjectID Values In Output

FME beginner here, I'm trying to do a pretty straight forward export from an sde based database to file geodatabase, the only real criteria I'm after is preserving the ObjectId values in the output. Everything tried results in the ObjectId resequencing itself in the output per normal, our client has built relationships on the OID (why I'll never know) so we need to preserve them in the extract. Any help is appreciated.

Filtering "active" attributes from an FFS

Im playing around with OSM data, which when exposed leaves a very very large number of attributes, the majority of which are empty or have at best 1/2 entries. Im wondering is the way a to filter "active" attributes from an FFS (or a PBF) IE: Filters where all or a certain percentage of attributes entries are not Null or Missing. I know you can do this for individual attributes using things like "attributefilter" or tester, but I wonder is there an easy way to select every exposed attribute, filter this and leave a list of attributes after that have these conditions.
