Template "Microsoft SharePoint Online (safe.microsoft-sharepoint)" not available in 2022.2 ?

Y’all.

I’m trying to create a connection to a customer Sharepoint for the first time. And I’m confused.

I got something to work in 2020.2, but would rather it ran in 2022.2 (same as our servers). But I’ve also tried it in 2024.1

There seems to be two web service templates, (Template) and (safe.microsoft-sharepoint).
According to this article they are each designated for use with Sharepoint List r/w and SharepointOnlineConnector respectively.

But apparently I can’t create a new web service based on the latter in 2022.2, and the latter isn’t even available in 2020.2

So when did this change, i.e. in which FME version ?

Cheers
Lars I.

Hi Donal.

I’m abandoning the request for 2020 and 2022, and concentrating on 2024.

All things Azure are changing too rapidly to use older versions, I guess.

Cheers.

Hi @lifalin2016,

Thank you for reaching out with this question.
If possible could you share your workbench (or screenshot of your workbench) and I can look further into this issue. In the meantime I will look further into this and get an answer for you.

In the meantime, you can review this article - Getting Started with Microsoft SharePoint. There are also links to Creating a SharePoint Web Connection within the article.

Kind regards,
Donal.
