Is FME Server / Flow vulnerable for Apache ActiveMQ CVE-2023-46604 https://www.cve.org/CVERecord?id=CVE-2023-46604

Not sure which forum to post this in, feel free to move it if not relevant here. I'm revisiting the 12 Days of FME 2022 challenges, which were great fun last year and i wanted to challenge myself again this year. (https://community-fme-server-support.fmecloud.com/fmeserver/apps/FMEUCCommunityCafe/12Days-Details/streaming/fmedatastreaming/12Days2022/ContestDetails.fmw)  It seems that the datasets aren't available anymore though. Does anybody have the input datasets for each of the challenges that they could share please?

I have manage to export shp in file geodatabase with datasets but now it seems that i have a strange problem (or bug).every shp that i have exported is missing 1st entry in geodatabase. lets say a shp file has 10 points then i’ll get only 9 points in gdb and the one is missing is always the 1st pont in shp file. every shp file is missing that 1st entry.the strange thing is that fme shows in information that it wrote all entries that the shp files has but somehow 1 is missing.there is absolutly no error in logs. i get some info about some fields that i don’t export anyway. i really have no idea why this is happening.the shps are also exported with FME from othe types of data.for writer i use Esri Geodatabase (File Geodb Open API) with some schemas that i read from a template database with featurereader and join it on shps (no schema was readed).so what im doing wrong?why there is no error about the missing entries?

Hi All,I am new to the FME Software and have a small question related to NeighborFinder.We have points and contour tables in Arcsde Geodatabase. We are finding points near contour by providing specific distance say 20 in neighborfinder In actual case distance is varies  like in some cases nearest contour is at 30 , some contours at 40 etc. How do I tell to neighborfinder that select a point which is near by contour having distance in between 10 to 40 ?. I am using customer transformers in a work space, but they are converting a string value to integerThe values are 002 and 003, they need to stay this way for the http calls inside the custom transformer but are getting converted to 2 and 3 (without the 00)As read from dbAfter entry into the custom transformer​​​​Any thought on how to prevent this?I would like to have to avoid having do something in each custom transformer to revert the values back to the strings 

I have a large Workspace that processes multiple .dwg files along with a single Excel and .dbf file to generate one Excel file with multiple sheets. This works fine when I have feature caching on, but obviously takes a long time.  When I try to run it without feature caching, the feature output is a fraction of what it should be, but still gets data from all the multiple dwg files selected, as opposed to grabbing from one file. The only thing that comes to mind is that without feature caching, it does not wait until all features are processed.  So, what am I missing?  Is there a ‘WaitUntilAllFeaturesAreProcessed’ transformer or setting? Or, should my approach be some flavor of batch processing?  I haven’t seen anything in this forum that matches my situation. Any insight is appreciated. Thanks,-Loren

(from reading Schedule Spatial ETL tools on a server—ArcGIS Data Interoperability | Documentation for ArcGIS Enterprise)  When I created the workspace on the server with FME Workbench, everything seemed fine.  I could insert an Esri ArcGIS Online (AGOL) Feature Service writer and connect to the feature service that I wanted to write to.But

Hey ya'll, I've been playing around with deployment parameters in Flow and Form but I have been wondering if it's possible to use an existing deployment parameter in Form, without a database connection that has the same credentials? So for example accesing database X through deployment parameters without having database X defined in your local database connections. I've tried to but to no avail.

Hi,I am trying to add a timestamp to a file, which is being written using feature writer. The workbench is on a shared data directory with a Flow Environment.I have seen other options of using fanout option but seems like they are limited to writers only.I just need a simple timestamp on my text-file when its written so that I can keep records of what is being written.I also have made a timestamp attribute using DateTimeStamper and DateTimeConvertor but don't know how to add that to the file name.Any pointers will be appreciated.Thank you

Hello,I’m trying to connect hundrets of feature types to different transformers (see screenshot). Connecting them via “Feature Type Connections” window only works if you have a clear mapping/names for your input ports. Connecting them by hand is way to slow and error-prone.I’m sure there must be a better way. Many thanks in advance.

Hi,Just a quick question about this scenario:we are going to send an Email from an Automation in the case that a translation fails. To populate the body of this Email we can use several parameters (workspace name, automation name, repository name, job id, start and end time of the job, etc.). Now we would also like to add the URL of the FME Flow server to the Email body.Why? Two reasons:We have got 4 different FME Flow environments - D, T, A & Production - and we want the server who sends the email to identify itself It would be cool to add a hyperlink to the job log to the Email body and with the URL and the Job ID we would be able to compile such a linkSo, the question is: would this be possible? Where and how could we retrieve this URL? It is not a parameter in the list provided, as far as I know.Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.TIA,Egge-Jan

I have FME v2024 with a Floating License. I have Windows 10 Enterprise installed. I am almost out of space on my disk where my "Temp" folder is located.The persistent problem I have with FME is that every time I try to open an XML file, although I do have the reader for it, I consistently get the same 6 errors. I have tried opening other files and there is no problem with those, only with XML files.[1]: HTTP transfer error: Timeout was reached[2]: Please ensure that your network connection is properly set up[3]: No proxy settings have been entered. I need to create unique Ids for a point feature class. Also, when a new point is added to the class I need to the unique Id created automatically when the workspace is run. I have created a workspace that includes the File Geodatabase Point Feature Class Reader then the Counter Transformer to create a new field named _count and a new field in AttributeManager named Facility_ID.  All the unique Ids will be formatted as follows: BLDG-000000001, BLDG-000000002, etc…When a new Building Point is added to the Feature Class, the Facility_ID field will automatically be populated with a unique ID in sequence increments of 1; example if the highest unique id in the feature class is BLDG-000000109, then when a new building is added it’s unique id will be BLDG-000000110. What else do I need to do? any assistance is much appreciated.   

We have FME Flow (Windows 2024.0.1) installed in an EC2 instance in a VPC. The DynamoDB reader uses the public endpoint: dynamodb.<region>.amazonaws.com.Can this be modified to use a VPC endpoint?For example: vpce-0a06cf963f9d04a28-3wilx6xm.dynamodb.us-west-2.vpce.amazonaws.com We need to do this for all AWS endpoints, S3 and SQS.Thank you,Kathy

I’m running FME Form 2023 and creating a new script with a reader wich fails when looking up tables. Message given: Failed to retrieve feature typesCould not open the enterprise geodatabase because the local version of arcgis is not compatible with the server's SDE version.On the laptop I have both Arcmap 10.7 and ArcGIS PRO 3.1 (AGP) installed. When creating the reader I use a connection file created in AGP. I also have FME 2018 but this is 2023. The reader is defined as “Esri Geodatabase (ArcSDE Geodb) / Embed Connection Parameters” as the geometry format in the database is ST_GEOMETRY. To me it looks like files from ArcGIS 10.7 is found and used which doesn’t work. Is there any way to force FME 2023 to use “library files” from AGP 3.1 or is there another way to solve the problem?

I am joining a data table with polygons, via a FeatureJoiner using a common value between the two datasets, both data sources come from a sql database. I am outputting a spatial table (the polygons, joined with the data) to another database.I am encountering a strange issue when I try to open this data with ArcGIS Pro, I have never come across this before - The ESRI_OID does not exist. I was not aware this was required previously either.This is causing various issues with viewing the data and publishing it, or joining it within ArcPro. I am getting this error on the esri GIS server when I try to view the polygons/or view the table. here is what the output data rows look like:It is a very simple dataset with geometry. I’ve never had to make esri_oids before in any of my workbenches, does anyone have any insight to what might be going wrong?
