How can I setup SSL on FME Server with this type of configuration.

I have lots of files (read into FME 1 by 1) within which there are details of lots of polylines, this detail consist of:1) A LineID2) A set of coordinates that build the line.It looks like the LineIDs ARE sorted, but the coordinates are supplied with a vertex number and these are definitely not sorted.I have to use a Sorter, but this is a major bottleneck and even with a few hundred thousand rows of data the memory usage is climbing unnervingly. When I throw the real data at the process I'm not confident that it won't fall over at some point.What I'd like to do is only sort coordinates for LineIDs on a per file basis. So every time a new filename arrives on a feature that lets the Sorter know to release the existing 'sorted' features that had a different filename and let them pass on through the process.I tried to create a GroupedSorter by wrapping a Sorter up as a custom transformer and exposing the Parallel Processing Group parameter, so that I could group by fme_

After installation of FME server 2016 the list scheduled tasks is empty. How can I restore the cleanup tasks?

I'm trying to write a GML-File using a workbench and a xsd-schema-file, which I got from someone else, but I get an error. Obviously, there's something wrong in the xsd-File, as this error occurs when the schema document is beeing parsed, but how do I find out, what exactly is wrong?(And strange enough, it used to work, I used to be able to generate the GML ...???) Good day!I've a task with spatial adjustment of vector data (like in ArcGIS).My spatial grid presented in unknown coordinate system. But it looks like World Mercator.I know where nodes from this grid should be placed (see table)I found that shift parameters which i calculated don't compare, because grid coordinates along north directions has scale factor. It would be good if somebody will help me to understand how i can transform this grid to Mercator.

I have an issue where a dynamic workspace working with hundreds of data sets needs to be able to expose fields if they are DateTime. Due to the sheer number of datasets and fields I don't really wish to hard-code this into the workspace. I was hoping there was a way to expose fields when they are a particular datatype, in this case DateTime. The reason that I need to expose them is due to json not having the ability to write out DateTime fields correctly, they need to be converted to strings using the dateformatter. The workspace is dynamic and may open hundreds of datatypes depending on the parameters coming in. I don't want to have to hard code but I am thinking I might need to expose all the relevant fields within the FeatureReader, I am using FME 2015.1.The date formater works fine but the attributes must be exposed to be able to select them within the transformer. Does anyone know if it is possible to load ArcGIS Server feature services to ArcGIS Portal or will FME only work with the free outward facing ArcGIS Online.  Thanks

I have a CSV file where one of the fields contains XY coordinate pairs. I want to use the AttributeSplitter to separate them so they can be mapped. Easy enough, no? Well, not so much if the coordinates are separated by an STX control character. I've tried several different ways in the Delimiter or Format String parameter of the AttributeSplitter but no luck. Hi -I am attempting to translate and map attribute values from a source table to a target table. The image above is an example of what I'm trying to accomplish (not actual data.) I have created a crosswalk table using the frequency GP tool in ArcGIS that maps the original values to the the desired translations to be stored in the target table. I assume the processor to use is the attribute value mapper but I haven't had much luck. I'm new to FME so could be "pilot error." Thanks.

I'm new to FME.I've created a workspace that reads one Microstation V8 (dgn) file, and several shapefiles. It reads all features from the .dgn as well as all features from the shapefiles and outputs them into two new .dgn files. The first output file contains all features read, while the second one only contains the features from the shapefiles and not the features from the .dgn.Now, I actually need this to run on a whole bunch of datasets, so I exposed all of the input files as parameters and run it from a batch file. The default value of all the parameters is the files for the test dataset I was using. When I run the the workspace on the test dataset either in FME Workbench, or on the command line, everything works perfectly. When I run it on any other dataset, none of the features from the shapefiles is written to the output .dgn files. FME reports warnings, but the translation is always successful.I've attached the workspace file, as well as logs from a successful

However, x should be less than 10. Also, this is not a list. This is how I get data when parsed by JXL. What I want to do is I want to find the return{x}_Value where the value of DesiredColor matches the value of the Color{x}_Of_Fruit. So in this example, I would return like a match on IloveStrawberriesAny ideas on how to accomplish this in an elegant fashion?

Hello,i am trying to dig the basics behind Looping with blocking transformers since I would like to use it in the future.My simple scenario:I've got a point that I buffer with various distances. The first distance is 10 m, and then, step by step, I increase the distance by 5 m (thus 10 , 15, 20, etc.). If the value reaches 100 m the process stops.If I enter the value 17 as the maximum number of iterations 1 features leaves the INCOMPLETE port, with the attribute BUFFERBREITE having the correct value 95 m. As of 18 or further beyond, the ports is empty. This seems to be correct since as of 18 the condition of 100 m is met.Some things I don't understand:1. Unlike with Looping throught non-blocking transformers the Output port "Passed" does not appear in the custom transformer (see pic. above "Tester"). There is only the INCOMPLETE Output.2. Hi,Last week I uploaded a custom transformer to hub.safe.com (https://hub.safe.com/transformers/naturalsorter). The NaturalSorter allows you to sort features based on an attribute in a human way (1, 3a, 3b, 10 instead of 1, 10, 3a, 3b). I was wondering what the usual workflow is after a custom transformer is uploaded.It would be nice for example if other people could test it and provide feedback (even though I tested it myself). Is there an automatic way implemented for other users to test, validate and provide feedback? And if not, is it ok if I ask feedback in this way?Thanks for the answers!

Hi,I'm having 2 lists: _listold (with 10 coordinates present (before)) & _listnew (with 4 coordinates (after).I want to merge those 2 lists into 1 list but it should merge on the index in order except for the last index, last index of first list should be merged with last index of second list. Afterwards I want to explode the list, aggregate and pivot to get something like this: beforeafter00112234567893I've taken a look at the ListMerger and it merges the 2 lists but how I want, but I have no idea how to modify the python logic behind it (python is still Japanese to me :))Anyone an idea how to get this part?
