Hi,I have a scenario where I need to recode the pixels of raster, but the values are determined at run time.I have a list of from-to values, but what is the best way to implement that?The RasterCellValueReplacer will take attributes, but not a list.  Is there any way other than looping through the list and recoding the raster one value at a time?   There can be anything between 1 and 300 elements in the list.

Hello everyone,I am using the StringPairReplacer to find and replace short codes with their corresponding fulltext from a string that may contain multiple codes. It looks something like thisA1, A2(A3), A4 → Fulltext1, Fulltext2(Fulltext3), Fulltext4with the Replacement Pairs: A1 Fulltext1 A2 Fulltext2 A3 Fulltext4 A4 Fulltext4 This works fine, however the lookup table containing codes-fulltext translations may change in the future and I would like to implement a dynamic solution which doesnt rely on changing the workspace everytime something changes in the translation. I managed to create the correct text for the replacement pairs field using the SQL Creator from my translation database but am having trouble inserting this string into the appropriate field as it only accepts text and user parameter input. I am not too familiar with user parameters and cant seem to work out a solution to insert the dynamically created string into the StringPairReplacer.Does anyone have an idea how to do

I’m fairly new to FME and need help to get started on a workbench. I have a text file i need to convert into a readable format. Each line has information about a specific device and should be parsed into separate columns. The blank spaces also need to be removed. What transformer should I use? Any help is appreciated!

HiI am able download files with the ProjectWiseWSGConnector.Now, I want to download files in a flat set, but this does not work for me.If I treat the flat set as a file and try to download it. The translation is successful, but nothing is download.And I can't list the content, because in list mode the flat set isn' visible, since it is treated as a file by the transformer.Any help would be appreciated.

I’m considering updating FME Flow to version 2024.1 on a server where we currently have ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9.1 installed. Some of my workspaces utilize Arcpy and the ArcGIS API for Python.Based on the compatibility table, ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9.1 is compatible with FME 2021.2, but not with FME 2024.1.Can anyone clarify whether Arcpy and the ArcGIS API for Python will function properly with FME Flow 2024.1 in this setup? Is there a transformer that dynamically identifies features where all attribute columns are empty? This could be done with a Tester, but that requires the attributes to be known, and a new setup for each dataset. I was curious if it can be done “on the fly”.

Hi everyone,I have a feature class in a File Geodatabase that I need to update. I have two sources for these updates: a CSV file with codes of the changed features, which I should use to remove those features from the main dataset, and separate shapefiles for each changed feature that needs to be added back to the main dataset. (I shouldn’t delete and update the whole dataset, I should update the changed features only.)What is the best way to approach this in FME?Thank u in advance for your time. 

I have a FME workspace reader that reads in the various attributes of a particular workbench and want to send the results to an excel spreadsheet with one sheet per feature. Each feature has a different set of attributes and can’t figure out how to get each sheet to be only the attributes of that feature.  Do I just need to have a separate reader for each feature_type or is there a way to channel all features into a single reader?

Hi,I am trying to trigger an action on FME Flow when a new file geodatabase is added to my network. So I set up a Network or Resource directory trigger to monitor for CREATE events, but when I test it it fires once for each of the files contained in my geodatabase, or about 70 times.Ultimately I want to receive the path to the geodatabase in the File Path automation attribute, in just one trigger. Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks. 

I have a large number of points, which I would like to join by simple lines (point-to-point), minimizing the overall summed length of the generated lines. There's no preferred path, but all points must be connected to each other by a single network of lines.My output just needs to be a set of simple lines.Do anyone have an idea on how to accomplish that, other than grinding it out in a PythonCaller ?CheersLars I

Hello, we have inherited a range of very large workbenches and was wondering if there is a way to get a summary report of the major components like parameters, database connections,  inputs,  outputs and names of bookmarks. 

Has anyone else noticed when creating a list using the AttributeExploder it truncates the last two characters of the list name, resulting in complications when using a ListExploder downstream because the list doesn’t exist.Using the default settings:Default List Settings in the AttributeExploder Transfomer The resulting list:List Name Is Truncated In Feature Information This broke a workspace that was previously working. It was a niggly one to catch as the only thing that had changed was the FME version.As a workaround, we created a user parameter which had the default value “_attr_li{}” and used that in the ListExploder which worked. FME Form version:FME(R) 2024.1.1.0 (20240729 - Build 24619 - WIN64)

I am able to read a Oracle Spatial geometry using FME "Oracle Spatial Object" reader. However when I am trying to read a SDO_GEOMTERY using SQL_Executor, I am not able to expose the geometry attribute. How do I read a SDO_GEOMTERY in FME in between the flow?  Regards, Ananda

I had a pair of coordinates stored in a single column named "geometry." I used the Attribute Splitter to separate these coordinates and then exploded the list. Now, I have each latitude and longitude in the same column. Is there a way to copy these latitude and longitude values into separate columns labeled "Latitude" and "Longitude" while maintaining the same order?

Hello everyone, I have an XML file containing the registered real-estate data and want to export it as an IFC file. What is the procedure to get the geometries and their atributes out of that file. As I have read, the first step is to use the XMLFlattener. But I do not know on which level do I have to flatten it (Elements to match). There are a lot of nested paths. If I select one path, do I have to select the paths under it? And this flattening process takes a really long time! What is the solution? I would appreciate your help.   

In the ‘Run Workspace Dialog, there is a ‘Log Debug’ option under ‘Advanced’ settings here:  Why isn’t there an option to enable this ‘Log Debug’ in Automations when configuring the ‘Action>Run Workspace’ interface? I need debug logging details to run my automation in ‘production’ mode. It’s not honoring the logging setting when I published from FME Form. Shouldn’t the option be here:  My ultimate goal is to have log files from workspaces ran within Automation have full debug logging enabled.Is there some setting in a config file I can change?Version: FME Form/Flow 2024.1.1.0 (Build 24619)

Hi All,I'm experiencing a bug in the Excel writer in the new FME 2024.0. I've made a script that outputs multiple data categories I need to process in a particular order to ensure my calculations are fed as desired. The bug causes the attribute names to not be written in the first row in Excel; it just starts with the data in the second row. Whenever I open the exact same script in FME 2023.2, the writer does write the field row names, without me changing anything in the writer settings.For now, my solution is to not use FME 2024, but since my customer does use 2024, it's not desirable. Does anyone have any ideas?Here is a preview of Excel. I can't scroll up to the first row, the data is not hidden, and the navigator also won't allow me to go to row 1. 

Hi, I’m having some problems working with the CSV Reader. I created a Reader from a CSV that has 3 fields: Address, City, and ZIP. I have ‘Case Sensitive Field Names’ and ‘Enforce Strict Schema’ set to No, but then if I modify my source CSV to have the attributes: address, city zip, and Notes, the Reader fails to read in any data.What am I doing wrong here? It seems like even though I changes some properties for the Reader, it is defaulting back to the original schema that I input when creating the Reader. Any help is greatly appreciated. 

Hi,I have one script in R running in RCaller, but the RCaller show some messages like erros but no erros, my script run properly. I would like to ignore these messages and generate one feature for the next transformer. How can I do this?  Thank´s

I have a pair of longitude latitude coordinates that I’m trying to measure the distance between in KMIf I cross-reference this “distance” result in ArcGIS Pro, I get approximately 1.44kmThis is also roughly the same result if I use a online calculator;My question, is how does the result 0.01630799258600798 translate to 1.44km? is there something I’m missing??
