When using a negative buffer value on too small polygons, they are always output as rejected features (since there is no valid part of the polygon to output). Is there a way to filter beforehand such that these features aren't rejected?

I have a fancy Python script running in my PythonCaller, but I want to use a "Group By" logic to process my features. I'd rather not have to manually split my features and plop down a PythonCaller for each separate stream. Is there an easy way to do this within the Python script? Or any way??

Hi,I have one table that I'm using for several schema mapping depending on the object.To do that my schema mapping is a combination of a test filter with several outports and each of these outport is connected a schema mapper (see below). All the schema mappers are reading the same table but their where clause is related to the the condition used in the Test filter.Is there a way to dynamically change the where clause inside the schema mapper transformer so that instead of having this complex custom transformer, I can use a simple single schema mapper transformer?  Thanks

Hello,I am new-ish to FME and primarily used model builder for previous needs which may show in how this model was created.So I am reading from .sde, changing some field names among other things and outputting the data to both a kmz and to individual shapefiles to a zipped folder. Not all of the feature classes have NFID within their table so I am using this parameter not only for the output file names, but also to select the line with the specified NFID and then buffer to select surrounding features.I created this to run for one project at a time using a parameter NFID which is basically a project name/number to select the correct data and to name the output folder and kmz file. I want to expand this further and have it run through ideally a list of NFIDs and ultimately read from a good sheet and run based on those values when project status is updated in the table but that will be the next step once I can get this to reset and run for each NFID entered. I was using the DateDifferenceCalculator to work out the difference in days between a completed date (contains date and time) and now. This is to find out if the completed date is in the past 30 days. I have now converted this to a SQL query using the DateDiff function: SELECT DATEDIFF(day, completed_date, CURRENT_TIMESTAMP) from ...The SQL function returns different results to the DateDifferenceCalculator, often 1 day less. For example DateDifferenceCalulator says the difference between today (14th September) and a completed date of 17th August is 29, but SQL Server (and Excel) say 28. To be precise, the completed date is 17/08/2018 00:32:00 and the comparison was done at about 14/09/2018 17:20:00. Excel give the difference as 28.7 which I would round down to 28 because it's not yet been 29 days.Looking at the embedded transformer, it appears that DateDifferenceCalculator is rounding up the output value if the decimal point value is greater or equal to .5. I have scanned historic maps in tiff format. None of these images are georeferenced. I have the corresponding bounding boxes for all these files in shapefile. The names of both the raster sheets and the bounding box tiles match. Is there any way I can match the shapefile index with the raster and then georeference the raster tile from this?Any help is appreciated.Thanks

I'm trying to extract a download-URL within a href. I have tried using the HTMLExtractor, ListExploder and XMLYQueryExtractor to isolate the specific URL to an attribute but with no luck. Morning, I have a list of attributes that I've created with DateTimeConverter in the format %H:%M:%S. However, there is a decimal point at the end with a couple of numbers.Eg. 08:13:56.236Does anyone know a way to get rid of everything after and including the decimal point? Hi FME'er,I have CSV data that is stored in a table in Oracle. The data is created using a stored procedure and is stored in a single field with one row per line. I would like to read and parse this data as a CSV file into FME for further processing. I figured I would start by aggregating the field (attribute) into a single row but don't know where to go from there. I can't use the AttributeSplitter because it uses " qualifiers around data that has commas.  Many Thanks,David

Hello all,I have two layers, one of roads (lines) and one of electorates (polygons). The roads intersect the electorates and one road can intersect more than one electorate.For each road feature, I want to add the name of the electorate that the majority of the road falls within.I am using a SpatialFilter to populate the roads with the names of electorates but I don't know how the transformer chooses which electorate to populate the road feature with. Is it just the first electorate that happens to intersect?

I am attempting to use FME to automate the process to create and upload data into our Socrata Open Data account.I have been following the details in this guide: https://dev.socrata.com/blog/2014/10/09/fme-socrata-writer.html and other similar demonstrations from SAFE software.I am receiving a consistent error within FME which states 404, 'User not found' when the browser login credentials for Socrata are provided. This error is generated when trying to create a new dataset and when updating an existing one on Socrata. I have noted that the FME output states that it is using an app token which is different to the app token which is generated in the associated opendata.socrata.com account. I have not been able to locate any options to correct the app token.
