HiI am trying to use the InlineQuerier for the first time. I am using it instead of FeatureMerger because I want to do a join using a Like statement with wildcards which is not possible with FeatureMerger.However I can't work out why my query is not running. Is there a way to aggregate based on a condition? I have a set of polygons that I want to aggregate based on the distance. That has worked with the workaround @takashi has posted numerous times (with the buffer, en the count etc). But now I end up with aggregates that have a larger summed attribute value than I would like. Is there a way to add conditions to the aggregating proces? As in, form an aggregate based on distance, but if the summed attribute value exceeds a certain amount, further separate the aggregates.

I have another newbie question please.I am reading the input data (ID, NAME1, NAME2) in the example below and creating the new attributes FIRST and LAST.The value of the new "FIRST" attribute is set (to NAME1) when reading the first row for a particular ID. However, the new "LAST" attribute is set (to NAME2) when processing the row associated with the last entry of a particular ID.How do I backfill the value of the "LAST" attribute so that is available for the first row of an ID? (I need this in order to satisfy the required output format).I am aware of the look ahead (and behind) feature in AttributeManager/Creator. However the number of rows to look ahead is not known when reading the input data. In the next few months we will be migrating from an FME Cloud instance (2018.1) on Linux to Windows Server 2016 and I haven't been able to locate any information on the proper way to migrate this. Trying to get a game plan together before we attempt this. We will still have the FME Cloud instance running while we perform the migration. Will the FME Cloud backups work with the FME Server on the Windows server platform?  If anybody could point me in the right direction, or have any useful links, that would be much appreciated. All I can find is migrating from FME Server to FME Cloud information, so I wasn't sure what hurdles might be in the way in doing this the other way with different OS's.

I would like some features in PostGis database, there is one field called 'dt_desc' with the value (2018-09-04 19:00:20).But the WARN messege showed in my log: 'dt_desc' cannot be convert to timestamp, and none features is recorded.I tried change the format in FME writer to timestamp, varchar, date...but the problem continue againIn my PostGis database the format for this field is timestamp.Somebody can help me?Thank´s

I know I'm being lazy by not thoroughly researching the available documentation, but maybe there's a simple yes/no answer to my question: can I directly export a .fmw workbench transformation to a Python module(s)? The closest analog I can think of is like in ArcGIS, where you can export a ModelBuilder diagram into a Python script.

How do you remove a colinear point from a polygon when it is the first/last vertex?  When using the generalizer (Douglas) the wrong point is removed.  See attached workspace for an example of two similar polygons. The one where the colinear point is not the first/last vertex works as expected.  The one where the first/last point is colinear, keeps that point and removes an important vertex.

Hi all,In autocad, I have a file containing information I would like to merge.Using the picture below will help to figure out the situation :I have a block and texts. I want to add the text string "(1.00) Z=190.98" to a new attribute of my block.Offsets between text insertion's point and block insertion's point are always the same offset x= 0.14 offset y = -1.25.Then the next step is to compute the value. Ideally, the attribute must have the calculated value 191.26-1.40= 189.86. Any ideas ?Thanks Arka

HiI have to migrate a bunch of FME scripts from PostgreSQL/PostGIS to MS SQL Server for every Reader and Writer. The straightforward way would be to just replace any Reader and Writer with its MS SQL Server version, and to modify any SQLCreators and SQLExecutors. Many days of work... Is there a more efficient way to handle this?Regards, Tobias

Is there a way to set the permissions on particular dashboards in fme server. I created a custom dashboard and can see it in dashboards area and have given permission for user to see but I only want user to see that particular dashboard, not all of the dashboards available.

Hi,  I made a workspace that creates folders and uploads files on a web API with the HTTP caller. The first version created folders at one level then uploaded files. Then it went on to do the next level and so on. So it was basically a series of HTTPcallers which worked fine on both desktop and Cloud.  However since it's impossible to know how many folder levels there are in advance I made it with a custom loop transformer and just one HTTP caller. This worked even better on desktop but trying to run it on FME Cloud it seems it never gets done. Something that takes 8 seconds in desktop isn't ready after half an hour on Cloud.....seems it never will be.   I checked the webconnection and I uploaded the custom transformer both to the repository and to the transformers folder. I run the same version of Desktop and Cloud 2018.1.0.1(18528). It initially didn't accept the custom transformer on an earlier Cloud version. Any ideas to what I might want to check or anyone with simila

Hi guys,i'm trying to cleaning up some historical GIS data which hasn't been well managed in the past 5-10 years. in that drive, all project related GIS data is saved in each folder which was named by the project name. what i want is to have is to have a workbench to search for shapefiles by certain texts (e.g. survey area, study area, project boundary) and write those into one feature class which have the folder name saved in one attribute table.Any suggestion?Thanks in advance :)

Hi,I have a workspace that uses the custom FeatureCounter followed by a TestFilter. If too many features for my conversion I port to a Terminator transformer. Following termination I want to delete the input file as part of a Python Shutdown script. The path including filename are in a Published Parameter. Example: [source_file]: c:\\folder\\file.extI've looked at lots of info but my attempts produce errors or the file doesn't get deleted, or both.Can someone with good experience with this provide details on all lines needed in the shutdown script (and if needed, any Python needed in the body of the workspace)?Thanks!

Any suggestions on the best way to find the number of days within a given month?
