Hi all,I encounter an issue with topic on FME Server:I have one workspace (the controller) that triggers another (the worker) via a jobsubmitter.The worker posts on the topic "reporter_database" in case of success. It sends some json code.Case 1: When I run the worker via the controller, the topic is not "activated".Case 2: If I launch the worker directly via the web browser interface, it runs correctly and activates the topic.I remarked there was a difference between the two approaches (see picture). On the rigth (case2), there are some FME Directives and Notification Manager Directives while there is nothing on case1...Does someone have an idea how I can solve the case 1?Thank you !Laurent

I have a polygon layer that has various geometry issues, mostly self-intersections. I have used the GeometryValidator to clean these up, but it has had the unfortunate consequence of filling in the holes. This is because they are not proper holes, but "fake" ones created by digitising a zero width corridor. So the hole boundary is actually part of the exterior boundary (highlighted in example below). The corridors are detected as self-intersections. Is there anything I can do to output the polygons with proper holes, or at least detect the polygons with fake holes so they can be edited manually? For example if one: I want to merge a feature with an attributevalue that is called "East Dartmoor" to a feature with an AttibuteValue called "East Dart". Would it be possible to add a wildcard to the feature merger?

I have a feature class. There is a ID field in this feature class, like below: 101L1101L2101L3101L4101L5101L6101L7101L8101L9101L10...102L57102L58102L59102L60102L61102L62102L63... I plan to add a new field called AZIMUTH. I need to use ID field above to find the "next" feature, for example, if current feature ID is 101L4, I will try use 101L5, and use this "next" feature and current feature to calculate AZIMUTH. Can you tell me how to find 101L5 in this case? Better use transformers. If not possible use python is also OK.

Hello people,I am new to GIS and FME. For my study we are using ArcMap. Ik have an shapefile and now I need to create a 5000 meter buffer around the shapefile. Therefore I must use the Bufferertool from FME. The result wil be written to a file geodatabase. Anytime I run the spatial ETL tool from FME I get an error and see no buffer of 5000m around the points of the shapefile.I have ad some screenshot. Does anybody know what I am doing wrong in my setup?Thanks in advance.Tijs

Hello, I have AIXM 5 reader in my workspace. When I load geometry, I got 2D points. I need to get elevation from geometry trait. My problem is that the geometry property extractor does not offer me any traits for export. Where can be a mistake?Here is my data in Data Inspector:

When I installed FME Server, everything seems to be working ok except I can't run any jobs. The web ui has picked up my licence information, but won't display any engines.   I checked in the fmeserver.log file and it says: Wed-15-Aug-2018 09:54:44.913 PM   ERROR    fmeenginemgrnodeclient   402902 : Failed to connect to Job Queue. Please ensure Job Queue is started.Wed-15-Aug-2018 09:54:44.914 PM   ERROR    fmeenginemgrnodeclient   Could not get a resource from the pool I tried running the "C:\Program Files\FMEServer\Clients\utilities\addQueueNode.bat" just in case, but it didn't change anything How can I get the job queue to start? 

Greetings all, Does anyone know if it's possible to expose IPTC metadata tags in JPGs (eg photos) using FME ? Specifically I'm trying to expose the Keyword metadata tag which may contain null or an unlimited number of keywords. ............. If this is not currently possible using FME and someone from Safe is reading this, could this functionality pleased be added ? (it's noted that EXIF metadata tags CAN be exposed). Ideally if keywords could be added as a List attribute ie each keyword seperated by a comma (for example) that would be fantastic. ................................... Regards Howard L'

Hi!I am trying to tile some PNG:s with the WebMapTiler. My problem is when writing the data to PNG-format the writer put extra "_1" to some of the tiles.The fanout is @Value(_zoom_level)/@Value(_tile_column) and when I inspect the objects just before the writer no object has any "_1" as fanout. But when the writer writes data to my folder it divides some of the PNG:s into two, like this:1218.png1218_1.png1219.png1220.png1220_1.png 1221.pngDoes someone know why the writer prints PNG:s with the "_1"-ending?

I have an XML extract using a Soap interface that has a section with lists of user defined attributes. I have a schema for these but I am having trouble extracting the contents. I expect to be able to rename the fields based on the order after extraction. I have several CSV files exported from Hadoop so the separator is the SOH control character. What do I type as the separator for the CSV reader? I've tried the hex code (\\x01) and copying/pasting the SOH character from Notepad++ but neither work.Thanks,Aaron

Hi,I'm trying to download table data from Statistics Finland PX-Web API (documentation here http://pxnet2.stat.fi/api1.html). URL for example for the cube and the table containing population demographic data is: http://pxnet2.stat.fi/PXWeb/api/v1/fi/StatFin/vrm/vaerak/statfin_vaerak_pxt_001.px . Px-Web API can return table data in various formats, including csv and excel.Using HTTPCaller and GET or/and JSON-reader I've been able to receive nested JSON containing list of all the different variables of the desired table, but the problem is that this request does NOT retrieve the actual data.In my understanding I should send a specified JSON-query using GET/POST-command to API to be able to download the actual data. But I have no clue how to do this in FME. I've tried to go through JSON-readers schema scan using JSON-query, and I looked for the HTTPcaller but don't know if Query String Parameters or Body settings could help me with this. JSON-query should look somewhat like this:{  "query

Hi guys,I am comparing 2 sets of data (6 months apart), in separate file geodatabases. There are approximately 18 feature classes in each database with a roughly 50,000 features in each class.Is there a way I can run a change detector on each feature class without having to add each feature class individually to the workspace?Cheers, Dave.

So I have a collection of 50 Tiff files (historical aerial images). Metadata exists in a separate file, and I get to choose - CSV, XML (FGDC), or KML for the Metadata (I have the metadata in each of the formats.)Metadata includes: Raster Filename, Lat/Lon of image centers, Lat/Lon of each image corner, as well as some more specifics on the image collection. My question is- how do I combine the metadata with the raster files and write out to GeoTiff?I tried FeatureMerge and the data inspector shows what I expect to see after the merge- raster files that have a feature table. When I go to write the files, this "feature table" (metadata information from CSV, in this case) disappears.What am I doing wrong here?Thanks,Andrew
